The propagation of coupled flexural-torsional vibration in the periodic beam including warping effect is investigated with the transfer matrix theory. The band structures of the periodic beam, both including warping effect and ignoring warping effect, are obtained. The frequency response function of the finite periodic beams is simulated with finite element method, which shows large vibration attenuation in the frequency range of the gap as expected. The effect of warping stiffness on the band structure is studied and it is concluded that substantial error can be produced in high frequency range if the effect is ignored. The result including warping effect agrees quite well with the simulated result.  相似文献

The propagation of triply coupled vibrations in a periodic, nonsymmetrical and axially loaded thin-walled Bernoulli–Euler beam composed of two kinds of materials is investigated with the transfer matrix method. The cross-section of the beam lacks symmetrical axes, and bending vibrations in the two perpendicular directions are coupled with torsional vibrations. Furthermore, the effect of warping stiffness is included. The band structures of the periodic beam, both including and excluding the warping effect, are obtained. The frequency response function of the finite periodic beam is simulated with the finite element method. These simulations show large vibration-based attenuation in the frequency range of the gap, as expected. By comparing the band structure of the beam with plane wave expansion method calculations that are available in the literature, one finds that including the warping effect leads to a more accurate simulation. The effects of warping stiffness and axial force on the band structure are also discussed.  相似文献

该文将周期局域共振梁结构中的基体结构由单一材料发展成多相材料,建立了周期复合局域共振梁结构。由共振单元在单胞中的排列位置,考虑了三种构型,并利用传递矩阵方法计算了在弹性基底作用下这些结构产生的局域共振带隙性质。结果表明,与局域共振梁结构相比,复合局域共振梁结构产生的局域共振带隙对应的频率范围更宽,禁带范围内弹性波的衰减峰值和衰减均值更高。除此之外,该文还分析了局域共振结构、单胞尺寸、基体材料和局域共振结构中的阻尼对弹性波在空间中传播和衰减特性的影响,为满足特定的隔声隔振要求的结构设计提供了依据。  相似文献

从梁的弯曲振动方程出发,利用传递矩阵法,给出了无限周期结构的一维多振子声子晶体梁的弯曲振动能带结构,并利用有限元方法计算了有限周期结构梁的弯曲振动频率响应.建立了多振子声子晶体梁的简化模型,推导出带隙起始截止频率公式.结果表明:一维多振子声子晶体梁具有比单振子声子晶体梁更宽更丰富的振动带隙,可应用于呈倍频关系的减振降噪中;振动在带隙频率范围内频率响应具有明显的衰减;所建立的简化模型与理论模型结果符合较好.研究工作为梁类结构的减振提供一种新的思路.  相似文献

充液管路的固液耦合振动广泛存在于各种工程领域中,对其弯曲振动控制进行研究具有重要意义.将声子晶体的周期性思想引入到管路结构设计中,将管壁设计成沿轴向交替排列的周期性复合结构.基于Timoshenko梁模型,采用传递矩阵法计算了固液耦合条件下周期管路结构的弯曲振动能带结构及其传输特性,同时分析了材料阻尼系数、周期和非周期支撑对带隙特性的影响.充液周期管路结构的弯曲振动带隙特性为管路的振动控制提供了一条新的技术途径. 关键词: 声子晶体 充液管路 振动带隙  相似文献

将带有LCR分流电路的压电陶瓷片对贴在铝和环氧树脂组成的声子晶体结构中.使智能材料的机械振动与压电陶瓷的压电效应耦合起来,推导出机械振动在压电陶瓷片上的等效附加应力;使LCR分流电路中的电磁振荡效应和声子晶体的能带特性有机结合,计算了在分流电路作用下智能材料扭转和弯曲振动的带隙特性,研究了电阻、电感、电容元件的改变对压电声子晶体智能材料带隙的影响.研究结果表明:在合理尺寸下,随着分流电路中电阻值的增大,带隙的频率范围变宽,但衰减幅值有所降低;电感和电容值的增大都可以使带隙向低频移动,带隙的衰减幅值随着电感值的增大而升高,但随着电容值的增大而降低.从而给压电声子晶体智能材料减震降噪的控制提供了一种新思路.  相似文献

以声子晶体理论为基础,设计了一种具有超阻尼特性的X形局域共振结构,分析了周期性附加X形局域共振的梁弯曲振动传播特性.利用拉格朗日方程分析了X形局域共振结构动力学等效特性,揭示了该结构的阻尼放大的机理,分析了几何结构参数对于带隙特性的影响,并利用有限元法验证了X形局域共振结构的超阻尼特性.研究结果表明,周期性附加X形局域结构能够有效地抑制低频弯曲振动在梁中的传播,产生超阻尼特性,实现低频、宽带的减振效果,为结构的低频减振提供了一个新的设计方案.  相似文献

NH radicals from a molecular beam are cooled using a novel beam-loaded buffer gas method. The radicals are produced in a glow discharge beam source and injected into cryogenic helium gas. Up to 1012 molecules in their ground electronic, vibrational, and rotational state are detected in the buffer gas and translational temperatures under 6 K are achieved. We introduce a modified transfer matrix (MTM) method for the calculation of the bending vibration band structure of one-dimensional phononic crystal (PC) Euler beams. A particular combination of hyperbolic functions and triangular functions is introduced to transform the state parameters of the transfer matrix (TM) method into four initial parameters, which have the explicit meanings of the displacement, rotation angle, bending moment and shear force at one beam end. The method is used to calculate the band structures of two PC Euler beams constructed from aluminum–Lucite and 100 kinds of materials. The effectiveness and high efficiency of the MTM method are demonstrated by the results. Several advantages make it a proper choice for the calculation of the bending vibration band structure of PC Euler beams.  相似文献

This paper presents the analysis for the transverse vibration of an axially moving finite-length beam inside which two points are supported by rotating rollers. In this study, the rollers are modeled as uniaxial springs in the transverse direction. Hamilton?s principle is applied to derive the equations of motion and boundary conditions of the system. The equations of motion include translational and rotational motions as well as flexible motion. These equations are discretized using Galerkin?s method, and then the dynamic characteristics of a flexible beam with spring supports are studied by solving an eigenvalue problem. The veering phenomenon of natural frequency loci and mode exchanges are investigated for different positions of the springs and various values of the spring stiffness. In addition, the mode localization is also analyzed using the peak amplitude ratio. It is found in this study that the first mode is localized in one of the beam spans if an appropriate value of the spring constant is selected. Furthermore, it is shown that mode localization can be used to reduce the vibration transferred from one span to the other span while a beam moves axially.  相似文献

An analysis is presented for the vibration and stability of a non-uniform Timoshenko beam subjected to a tangential follower force distributed over the center line by use of the transfer matrix approach. For this purpose, the governing equations of a beam are written in a coupled set of first-order differential equations by using the transfer matrix of the beam. Once the matrix has been determined by numerical integration of the equations, the eigenvalues of vibration and the critical flutter loads are obtained. The method is applied to beams with linearly, parabolically and exponentially varying depths, subjected to a concentrated, uniformly distributed or linearly distributed follower force, and the natural frequencies and flutter loads are calculated numerically, from which the effects of the varying cross-section, slenderness ration, follower force and the stiffness of the supports on them are studied.  相似文献

The steady state out-of-plane response of a Timoshenko curved beam with internal damping to a sinusoidally varying point force or moment is determined by use of the transfer matrix approach. For this purpose, the equations of out-of-plane vibration of a curved beam are written as a coupled set of the first order differential equations by using the transfer matrix of the beam. Once the matrix has been determined by numerical integration of the equations, the steady state response of the beam is obtained. The method is applied to free-clamped non-uniform beams with circular, elliptical, catenary and parabolical neutral axes driven at the free end; the driving point impedance and force or moment transmissibility are calculated numerically and the effects of the slenderness ratio, varying cross-section and the function expressing the neutral axis on them are studied.  相似文献

A chiral elastic metamaterial beam for broadband vibration suppression   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
One of the significant engineering applications of the elastic metamaterial (EMM) is for low-frequency vibration attenuation because of its unusual low-frequency bandgap behavior. However, the forbidden gap from many existing EMMs is usually of narrow bandwidth which limits their practical engineering applications. In this paper, a chiral-lattice-based EMM beam with multiple embedded local resonators is suggested to achieve broadband vibration suppression without sacrificing its load-bearing capacity. First, a theoretical beam modeling is suggested to investigate bandgap behavior of an EMM beam with multiple resonators. New passbands due to dynamic interaction between resonators are unpleasantly formed, which become a design barrier for completely broadband vibration suppression. Through vibration attenuation factor analysis of the resonator, an EMM beam with section-distributed resonators is proposed to enable broadband vibration attenuation function. Required unit number of the resonator in each section is quantitatively determined for complete vibration attenuation in a specific frequency range. Finally, the chiral-lattice-based EMM beam is fabricated, and experimental testing of the proposed structure is conducted to validate the design.  相似文献

Periodic arrays of negative capacitance shunted piezoelectric patches are employed to control the band gaps of phononic beams. The location and the extent of induced band gap depend on the mismatch in impedance generated by each patch. The total impedance mismatch is determined by the added mass and stiffness of each patch as well as the shunting electrical impedance. Therefore, the band gap of the shunted phononic beam can be actively tuned by appropriately selecting the value of negative capacitance. The control of the band gap of phononic beam with negative capacitive shunt is demonstrated numerically by employing transfer matrix method. The result reveals that using negative capacitive shunt to tune the band gap is effective.  相似文献

Buffer-gas cooling and electrostatic velocity selection techniques are combined in this work to produce a continuous molecular beam with rotational and translational temperatures comparable to those in the interstellar medium (ISM). A number of different mixtures of the isotopologues of ammonia (ND3, ND2H, NH2D and NH3) in varying ratios are used as the source gas, and the molecular beam emanating from the quadrupole guide velocity selector is characterised using mass spectrometry and Monte Carlo trajectory simulations. The guiding of the mixed isotopologues ND2H and NH2D is demonstrated for the first time. This approach establishes both the relative concentrations of each species in the beam and the internal rotational state distributions after buffer-gas cooling and guiding. Such information is essential for experiments in which the beam is used in reaction rate measurements (e.g., for ion–molecule reactions) and facilitates the study of reactions relevant to deuterium fractionation in the ISM, such as the competition between H and D transfer with mixed species including ND2H and NH2D.  相似文献

The dynamic behaviour of a beam with numerous transverse cracks is studied. Based on the equivalent rotational spring model of crack and the transfer matrix for beam, the dynamic stiffness matrix method has been developed for spectral analysis of forced vibration of a multiple cracked beam. As a particular case, when the excitation frequency is close to zero, the solution for static response of beam with an arbitrary number of cracks has been obtained exactly in an analytical form. In general case, the effect of crack number and depth on the dynamic response of beam was analyzed numerically.  相似文献

Product state distributions of the CaF products from the thermal crossed beam reactions Ca + F2 and Ca + NF3 have been measured using laser induced fluorescence (LIF) techniques. We obtain information about the rotational and vibrational distributions by generating synthetic band profiles and comparing them with those observed. The inverted vibrational distributions indicate direct reaction mechanisms. For Ca + F2 the fractionf′ of energy is nearly half going into product translation and the remainder being devided nearly equally between product rotation and vibration. For Ca + NF3 the largest fraction of the available reaction exoergicity goes into vibrational excitation of the newly formed CaF products. In addition, we have probed the rotational polarization of CaF product molecules. This gives direct information on the role of angular momentum alignment in reactive scattering.  相似文献

运用波传播法对有限和无限周期对边简支复合板的振动带隙衰减特性进行了研究.在建立相邻板结构边界连续方程的基础上, 分别运用传递矩阵和Bloch定理建立了有限和无限周期复合板的耦合运动方程, 并详细对比分析了有限和无限周期复合板带隙衰减特性的关联关系.研究表明: 周期板结构的振动带隙频率范围与激励方式和激励位置是相关的, 若周期复合板在宽度方向按某阶模态进行线激励, 则该激励下的振动带隙与无限周期复合板在该阶模态下的振动带隙是一致的; 若周期板在点激励作用, 则该点激励下的振动带隙是参与振动的各阶模态振动带隙的交集. 此外, 还进一步研究了结构阻尼对振动衰减带隙的影响. 关键词: 周期复合板 带隙衰减特性 波传播法 结构阻尼  相似文献

The propagation properties of flexural wave in the periodic beam on elastic foundations are studied theoretically. The wavenumbers and traveling wave characteristics in the beam on elastic foundations are analyzed. Basing on the equations of motion, the complex band structures and frequency response function are calculated by the transfer matrix method. And the Bragg and locally resonant gaps properties and the effects are researched. A gap with low frequency and wide range can exist in a beam on elastic foundations.  相似文献

The purpose of the present study is to deal with the free vibration of a beam hinged at one end by a rotational spring and subjected to the restraining action of a translational spring at the other end. The eigenfrequencies for the fundamental mode are presented for different values of the parameters KRL/EI and KTL3/EI, where KR and KT are the stiffness constants of the springs.  相似文献
