The paper investigates the dynamic evolution behaviors of entanglement and quantum discord of coupled superconducting qubits in circuit QED system. We put emphasis on the effects of cavity field quantum state on quantum entanglement and quantum correlations dynamic behaviors of coupling superconducting qubits. The results show that, (1) generally speaking, the entanglement will appear the death and new birth because of the interaction between qubits and cavity field, on the contrary, this phenomenon will not appear in quantum discord. (2) When the cavity field is in coherent state, the entanglement survival time is controlled by the average photon number. The more the average photon number is, the longer survival time of entanglement is prolonged. Thus it has the benefit of keeping quantum correlations. (3) When the cavity field is in squeezed state, the squeezed amplitude parameters have controlling effects on quantum correlations including entanglement and quantum discord. On the one hand, the increase of squeezed amplitude parameters can prolong the survival time of entanglement, on the other hand, with the increase of squeezed amplitude parameters, the robustness of quantum discord is more and more superior to concurrence and is more advantage to keep the system quantum correlations. The further study results show that the increase of the initial relative phase of coupling superconducting qubits can also keep the quantum correlations.  相似文献

Two charge qubits being coupled to a damped cavity with different couplings are considered. The dynamical evolution of the entanglement between the two qubits is demonstrated analytically or numerically. It is found that with the cavity dissipation, the steady entanglement between the two qubits can be achieved. The two qubits being initially in the separable and most mixed state can be easily induced to a steady entangled state, and the relative difference of the couplings can be used to enhance the steady entanglement between the two charge qubits.  相似文献

This paper proposes a method of generating multipartite entanglement through using d.c. superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUID) inside a standing wave cavity. In this scheme, the d.c. SQUID works in the charge region. It is shown that, a large number of important multipartite entangled states can be generated by a controllable interaction between a cavity field and qubits. It is even possible to produce entangled states involving different cavity modes based on the measurement of charge qubits states. After such superpositions states are created, the interaction can be switched off by the classical magnetic field through the SQUID, and there is no information transfer between the cavity field and the charge qubits.  相似文献

We examine the entanglement between two qubits, supposed to be remotely located and driven by independent quantized optical fields. No interaction is allowed between the qubits, but their degree of entanglement changes as a function of time. We report a collapse and revival of entanglement that is similar to the collapse and revival of single-atom properties in cavity QED.  相似文献

We investigate the dynamic evolution behaviors of entanglement and geometric quantum discord (GQD) of hybrid qubits in a circuit QED system. Under certain initial conditions, interactions between qubits and that between the qubit and the cavity can suppress the decay of entanglement and GQD of qubits. Under the initial condition |ψ Q (0)〉 I =sinα|↓↑〉+cosα|↑↓〉, such decay was avoided by increasing the coupling strength ratio between qubits and that between the qubit and the cavity. Under the aforementioned condition, the survival time of entanglement and GQD was prolonged by decreasing the coupling strength ratio between qubits and that between the qubit and the cavity.  相似文献

The entanglement between two stationary qubits is a kind of valuable quantum resources in quantum information or quantum network. This paper investigates the time evolution of the entanglement between two atoms, which are initially prepared in the Bell states and each of which interacts with its own cavity field in the identical and non-identical double damping Jaynes-Cummings (J-C) system. It mainly considers the effect of the atomic spontaneous decay Γ and the decay of cavity field κ on the two-qubit entanglement in such system. While causing the decay of entanglement, Γ and κ can also play a positive role in the entanglement evolution, which may imply a way to better control and maintain the entanglement. What is more, the rules governing the transfer of entanglement between two-qubit subsystems in strong coupling regime are finally studied by taking Γ and κ into consideration.  相似文献

We propose a scheme to generate entanglement between two distant qubits(two-level atom) which are separately trapped in their own(in general) non-Markovian dissipative cavities by utilizing entangling swapping, considering the case in which the qubits can move along their cavity axes rather than a static state of motion. We first examine the role of movement of the qubit by studying the entropy evolution for each subsystem. The average entropy over the initial states of the qubit is calculated. Then by performing a Bell state measurement on the fields leaving the cavities, we swap the entanglement between qubit-field in each cavity into qubit-qubit and field-field subsystems. The entangling power is used to measure the average amount of swapped entanglement over all possible pure initial states. Our results are presented in two weak and strong coupling regimes, illustrating the positive role of movement of the qubits on the swapped entanglement. It is revealed that by considering certain conditions for the initial state of qubits, it is possible to achieve a maximally long-leaving stationary entanglement(Bell state) which is entirely independent of the environmental variables as well as the velocity of qubits. This happens when the two qubits have the same velocities.  相似文献

We revisit the protocols to create maximally entangled states between two Josephson junction (33) charge phase qubits coupled to a microwave field in a cavity as a quantum data bus. We analyze a novel mechanism of quantum decoherence due to the adiabatic entanglement between qubits and the data bus, the off-resonance microwave field. We show that even if the variable of the data bus can be adiabatically eliminated, the entanglement between the qubits and data bus remains and can decohere the superposition of two-particle state. Fortunately we can construct a decoherencefree subspace of two-dimension to against this adiabatic decoherence. To carry out the analytic study for this decoherence problem, we develop Frohlich transformation to re-derive the effective Hamiltonian of these systems, which is equivalent to that obtained from the adiabatic elimination approach.  相似文献

We study the interaction between a single-mode quantized field and a quantum system composed of two qubits. We suppose that two qubits initially be prepared in the mixed and separable state, and study how entanglement between two qubits arises in the course of evolution according to the Jaynes-Cummings type interaction with nonclassical radiation field. We also investigate the relation between entanglement and purity of qubit subsystem. We show that different photon statistics have different effects on the dynamical behavior of the qubit subsystem. When the qubits are initially prepared in the maximally mixed and separable state, for coherent state field we cannot find entanglement between two qubits; for squeezed state field entanglement between two qubits exists in several short period of time; for even and odd coherent state fields of large photon number, the dynamical behavior of the entanglement between two qubits shows collapse and revival phenomenon. For odd coherent state field of small photon number, the entanglement with both qubits initially prepared in maximally mixed state can be stronger than that with both qubits initially prepared in pure states. For fields of small photon number, the entanglement strongly depends on the states they are initially prepared in. For coherent state field, and odd and even coherent state fields of large photon number, the entanglement only depends on the purity of the initial state of qubit subsystem. We also show that during the evolution the unentangled state may be purer than the entangled state, and the maximum degree of entanglement may not occur at the time when the qubit subsystem is in the purist state.  相似文献

Preventing quantum entanglement from decoherence effect is of theoretical and practical importance in the quantum information processing technologies. In this regard,we consider the entanglement dynamics of two identical qubits where the qubits which are coupled to two independent(Markovian and/or non-Markovian) as well as a common reservoir at zero temperature are further interacted with a classical driving laser field. Then,we study the preservation of generated two-qubit entanglement in various situations using the concurrence measure. It is shown that by applying the classical driving field and so the possibility of controlling the Rabi frequency, the amount of entanglement of the two-qubit system is improved in the off-resonance condition between the qubit and the central cavity frequencies(central detuning) in both non-Markovian and Markovian reservoirs. While the central detuning has a constructive role, the detuning between the qubit and the classical field(laser detuning) affects negatively on the entanglement protection. The obtained results show that long-living entanglement in the non-Markovian reservoir is more accessible than in the Markovian reservoir. We demonstrate that,in a common reservoir non-zero stationary entanglement is achievable whenever the two-qubit system is coupled to the reservoir with appropriate values of relative coupling strengths.  相似文献

Considering the generalized double Jaynes-Cummings model, we examine the entanglement between two non-identical dipole-dipole coupled qubits interacting with two independent detuned vacuum cavity modes. We calculate the negativity as a measure of qubits entanglement. We find that entanglement parameter evolve periodically with time and the period are affected by the model parameters and initial states of qubits. For unentangled initial states the detuning and dipole-dipole interaction affect only the period of entanglement oscillations, not the maximum value of entanglement. For entangled states the detuning stabilizes the entanglement parameter oscillations. According to choice of initial entangled state the dipole-dipole strength is greatly enhances or weakens the oscillations of the entanglement parameter.

Quantumness of the correlations between two qubits, coupled to a cavity field whenever the system is open or closed, is investigated when sudden death (or birth) of the entanglement occurs. It is found that quantum correlation not exists only in the entangled state. It’s found that the dephasing parameters and the purity of the initial states play an important role in the dynamics behaviors of the quantum correlations, including entanglement. Quantumness of the correlations and entanglement, due to dephasing of the cavity, are damped until the same their values which are contained in their initial states.  相似文献

We propose a simple scheme to generate two-mode entangled coherent state in two separated cavities and realize the entanglement reciprocation between the superconducting charge qubits and continuous-variable system. By measuring the state of charge qubits, we find that the entanglement of two charge qubits, which are initially prepared in the maximally entangled state, can be transferred to the two-cavity field, and at this time the two-cavity field is in the entangled coherent state. We also find that the entanglement can be retrieved back to the two charge qubits after measuring the state of the two-cavity field.  相似文献

The entanglement of two atomic qubits, which are coupled to a coherent state field with different couplings, is studied. The dynamical evolution of the concurrence, which measures the degree of the entanglement between the two qubits, is plotted versus the scaled time gt. It is found that the two qubits can be entangled by the coherent state field even when they are initially prepared in the most mixed state, and for very weak field, the most mixed state can be more easily entangled than some pure states. It is also found that the entanglement between the qubits sensitively depends on the relative difference of the atomic couplings and the mean photon number of the field.  相似文献

We demonstrate the controllable generation of multi-photon Fock states in circuit quantum electrodynamics (circuit QED). The external bias flux regulated by a counter can effectively adjust the bias time on each superconducting flux qubit so that each flux qubit can pass in turn through the circuit cavity and thereby avoid the effect of decoherence. We further investigate the quantum correlation dynamics of coupling superconducting qubits in a Fock state. The results reveal that the lower the photon number of the light field in the number state, the stronger the interaction between qubits is, then the more beneficial to maintaining entanglement between qubits it will be.  相似文献

I show that entanglement between two qubits can be generated if the two qubits interact with a common heat bath in thermal equilibrium, but do not interact directly with each other. In most situations the entanglement is created for a very short time after the interaction with the heat bath is switched on, but depending on system, coupling, and heat bath, the entanglement may persist for arbitrarily long times. This mechanism sheds new light on the creation of entanglement. A particular example of two quantum dots in a closed cavity is discussed, where the heat bath is given by the blackbody radiation.  相似文献

We investigate the experimental feasibility of realizing quantum information transfer (QIT) and entanglement with SQUID qubits in a microwave cavity via dark states. Realistic system parameters are presented. Our results show that QIT and entanglement with two-SQUID qubits can be achieved with a high fidelity. The present scheme is tolerant to device parameter nonuniformity. We also show that the strong coupling limit can be achieved with SQUID qubits in a microwave cavity. Thus, cavity-SQUID systems provide a new way for production of nonclassical microwave source and quantum communication.  相似文献

We investigate how entanglement can be transferred between qubits and continuous-variable (CV) systems. We find that one ebit borne in maximally entangled qubits can be fully transferred to two CV systems which are initially prepared in a pure separable Gaussian field with high excitation. We show that it is possible to retrieve the entanglement back to qubits from the entangled CV systems. The deposition of multiple ebits from qubits to the initially separable CV systems is also pointed out. We show that the entanglement transfer and retrieval are done at a quasisteady state.  相似文献
