掺钕磷酸盐激光玻璃的光谱特性 总被引:3,自引:1,他引:2
掺钕激光玻璃广泛应用于核聚变、高功率激光放大器和光纤激光器等领域。磷酸盐玻璃热膨胀系数高、热稳定性和化学稳定性差、热机械强度低。通过改变玻璃组分,即添加Al2O3和F2,并改进制备工艺来降低热膨胀系数,除去铂和分子水。测量了磷酸盐玻璃中Nd3+离子的荧光光谱、吸收光谱及玻璃的热膨胀系数。根据吸收光谱计算掺钕磷酸盐激光玻璃的光谱参数。通过对掺钕磷酸盐玻璃的热膨胀系数的实际测量和计算,分析了玻璃的热稳定性。结果表明,在基质玻璃中引入Al2O3使激光玻璃的热膨胀系数可降低到α=38.75×10-7/℃,引入F2既达到了除水的目的又降低了玻璃的声子能量,提高了荧光发射的量子效率,并优化了光谱性能,拓展了掺钕磷酸盐激光玻璃的应用范围。 相似文献

以掺杂光子晶体光纤为介质的光纤激光器一直受到科研工作者的广泛关注,应用于光子晶体光纤纤芯的掺稀土元素玻璃的制备成为研制掺杂光子晶体光纤的关键问题。利用高温熔融工艺制备钕离子掺杂的40SiO_2-14Al_2O_3-(40-x)CdO-2Li2O-2K2O-2Na_2O-xNd_2O_3(x=0.07,0.14,0.21,0.35,0.42,0.56mol)重金属硅酸盐玻璃系统,测试了其吸收光谱和荧光光谱。采用Judd-Ofelt理论,计算了玻璃样品的强度参数Ωt(t=2,4,6)以及钕离子的自发辐射概率、荧光分支比、荧光辐射寿命等参数。利用测得的荧光光谱计算了钕离子能级跃迁4 F3/2→4 I11/2的受激发射截面及荧光有效线宽。结果表明:当掺Nd_2O_3的摩尔分数为0.42时,制备的镉铝重金属硅酸盐玻璃具有较大的受激发射截面和比较宽的荧光有效线宽,且与相关文献中的钕离子掺杂玻璃相比,具有良好的激光性能和增益性能,有望在研制掺杂光子晶体光纤中得到应用。 相似文献

采用高温熔融法制备了组分为80TeO2-10Al2O3-10Cs2O-xNd2O3(x=0,0.5,1.0)(mol%)的掺钕碲酸盐玻璃,测试了玻璃样品的折射率、吸收光谱、荧光光谱和荧光寿命曲线.利用Judd-Ofelt理论计算得到光谱强度参数Ωλ(λ=2,4,6),Nd3+从4F3/2能级到4IJ(J=9/2、11/2、13/2、15/2)能级跃迁的荧光有效线宽Δλeff,4F3/2能级跃迁几率AJ,荧光分支比β,相应的荧光寿命τrad和量子效率η及受激发射截面σemi.在该碲酸盐体系中,Nd3+离子掺杂浓度为0.5mol%时,样品在1 060nm波长处的σemi·τmeas为6.21×10-24cm2·s,荧光有效线宽为31.4nm,量子效率达到89%.光谱特性对比分析结果表明,该掺钕碲酸盐玻璃是一种性能优良的固体激光材料. 相似文献

研究了掺铒TeO2-ZnO-PbCl2碲酸盐基氧卤玻璃在977nm激光二极管抽运下的发光和上转换发光特性,结果发现除红外153μm4I13/2→4I15/2发光外(荧光半高宽高达69nm),该玻璃还存在很强的2H11/2→4I15/2(527nm),4S3/2→4I15/2(549nm)和4F9/2→4I15/2(666nm)可见上转换发光.应用Judd-Ofelt理论计算得到玻璃强度参数Ωt(t=2,4,6)分别为Ω2=587×10-20cm2,Ω4=208×10-20cm2,Ω6=116×10-20cm2,计算了铒离子跃迁振子强度、自发辐射概率、荧光分支比、荧光寿命等光谱参量.应用McCumber理论计算得153μm处的玻璃受激发射截面可达875×10-21cm2实验结果表明,与硅酸盐玻璃、磷酸盐玻璃、氟化物玻璃等比较,掺铒碲酸盐基氧卤玻璃在宽带掺铒光纤放大器和上转换激光器中有着极大的研究和应用潜力.

Neodymium doped phosphate glasses have been prepared by the semi-continuous melting technique. Their absorption and emission spectra have been recorded at room temperature. The Judd-Ofelt theory has been applied to evaluate the stimulated emission cross sections of 4F3/2→4I11/2 transition for Nd3+. The higher stimulated emission cross section, 4.0×10-20cm2, is obtained. The fluorescence decays of the 4F3/2→4I11/2 transition of Nd3+ are measured for the samples doped (0.7-10) wt% of Nd2O3 at room temperature. The concentration quenching of Nd-doped phosphate glass is mainly attributed to cross-relaxation and energy migration. The site-dependent properties of fluorescence spectra and the fluorescence lifetime of the Nd3+-doped phosphate glass (with 2.2wt%Nd2O3) are studied using laser-induced fluorescence line narrowing techniques, and the site-to-site variations of optical properties are observed at low temperature. 相似文献

Using the technique of high-temperature melting, a new Er3+/Yb3+ co-doped fluorophosphate glass was prepared. The absorption and fluorescence spectra were investigated in depth. The effect of Er3+ and Yb3+ concentration on the spectroscopic properties of the glass sample was also discussed. According to the Judd-Ofelt theory, the oscillator strength was computed. The lifetime of 4I13/2 level (τm) of Er3+ ions was 8.23 ms, and the full width at half maximum of the dominating emission peak was 68 nm at 1.53 τm. The large stimulated emission cross section of the Er3+ was calculated by the McCumber theory. The spectroscopic properties of Er3+ ion were compared with those in different glasses. The full width at half maximum and σe are larger than those of other glass hosts, indicating this studied glass may be a potentially useful candidate for high-gain erbium-doped fiber amplifier. 相似文献

The stimulated emission cross-section σ and fluorescence lifetime for the 1.06 μm emission (4F3/2 →4I1/12) have been measured for a number of Nd-doped tellurite glasses. The measured value of σ ? 9 × 10-20 cm 2 for the tellurite glasses is to be compared with the value of 3.5 × 10-20 cm 2 for the ED-2 glass. Based on the measured spectroscopic parameters, an LED-pumped tellurite glass fiber laser is predicted to perform better than ED-2 glass, both in the longitudinal and transverse pumping configuration. The threshold for side-pumped tellurite glass laser can be comparable or even lower than that in Nd:YAG. 相似文献

本文系统研究了Yb3+、Er3+共掺磷酸盐铒玻璃中OH-含量与铒玻璃荧光寿命和光谱性质的关系.结果表明OH-基团的存在使得Er3+离子的荧光强度显著降低,荧光寿命大大缩短.比较了三种不同Al2O3含量(5mol%,8mol%和13mol%)的铒玻璃在2.9μm波长处的红外吸收系数与铒离子荧光寿命的关系,发现玻璃中OH-在2.9μm的吸收系数和Er3+的4Ⅰ13/2能级离子衰减速率成线性关系,不同Al2O3含量的玻璃具有不同Er3+和OH-基团的相互作用参量和不同的荧光寿命值及量子效率.并从玻璃结构上解释了Al2O3含量对除水机制和光谱性质的影响.经过充分除水后的铒玻璃荧光寿命可达到9.1ms. 相似文献

Nd3+-codoped and Al3+-Nd3+-codoped high silica glasses have been prepared by sintering nanoporous glasses impregnated with Nd3+ and Al3+ ions. The Judd–Ofelt intensity parameters Ω2,4,6 of Nd3+-doped high silica glasses were obtained and used to analyze aluminum codoping effects. Fluorescence properties of Nd3+-doped high silica glasses strongly depend on the Al3+ concentration. While Nd3+ ion absorption and emission intensities of obviously increase when aluminum is added to Nd3+-doped high silica glasses, fluorescence lifetimes decrease and aluminum codoping has almost no influence on the radiative
quantum efficiencies. This indicates that aluminum codoping is responsible for an anti-quenching effect through a local modification
of rare-earth environments rather than through physical cluster dispersion.
