The variation in environmental scattering background is a major source of systematic errors in X-ray inspection and measurement systems.As the energy of these photons consisting of environmental scattering background is much lower generally,the Cerenkov detectors having the detection threshold are likely insensitive to them and able to exclude their influence.A thickness measurement experiment is designed to verify the idea by employing a Cerenkov detector and an ionizing chamber for comparison.Furthermore,it is also found that the application of the Cerenkov detectors is helpful to exclude another systematic error from the variation of low energy components in the spectrum incident on the detector volume.  相似文献

In this talk, I present the results on the pole structure of pion-nucleon scattering in an analytic model based on meson exchange. The analytic properties of scattering amplitudes provide important information. Besides the cuts, the poles and zeros on the different Riemann sheets determine the global behavior of the amplitude on the physical axis. Pole positions and residues allow for a parameterization of resonances in a well-defined way, free of assumptions for the background and energy dependence of the resonance part. This is a necessary condition to relate resonance contributions in different reactions.  相似文献

We obtain the integrable relation for the one-dimensional nonlinear Schrodinger equations which describes the dynamics of a Bos-Einstein Condensates with time-dependent scattering length in a harmonic potential. The exact one- and two-soliton solutions are constructed analytically by using the Hirota method. Then we further discuss the dynamics of the one soliton and the interactions between two solitons in currently experimental conditions.  相似文献

The differential cross section (DCS) for electron-helium atom collisions in the presence of a bichromatic CO2 laser field is investigated as a function of the scattering angle θ by employing first-Born approximation (FBA) with a simple screening electric potential. We discuss in detail the influence of the scattering geometry, the photon energy and the number of photons exchanged on the DCSs. These illustrate that the three factors have important effects on the elastic scattering and the screening electric potential is effective.  相似文献

We theoretically investigate the Kondo effect of a quantum dot embedded in a mesoscopic Aharonov-Bohm (AIR) ring in the presence of the spin flip processes by means of the one-impurity Anderson Hamiltonian. Based on the slave-boson mean-field theory, we find that in this system the persistent current (PC) sensitively depends on the parity and size of the AB ring and can be tuned by the spin-flip scattering (R). In the small AB ring, the PC is suppressed due to the enhancing R weakening the Kondo resonance. On the contrary, in the large AB ring, with R increasing, the peak of PC firstly moves up to max-peak and then down. Especially, the PC phase shift of π appears suddenly with the proper value of R, implying the existence of the anomalous Kondo effect in this system. Thus this system may be a carldidate for quantum switch.  相似文献

We analyze the dynamics of a bright soliton in atomic scattering length in an expulsive parabolic potential. Bose-Einstein condensates (BECs) with time-dependent Under a safe ravage of parameters in which the Gross-Pitaevskii (GP) equation is effective in one dimension, our results show that, the dynamics of the bright soliton can be classed into two phases, depending on the value of the scattering length. Meanwhile, there exists a critical value of the absolute value of the atomic scattering length, below which, the dynamics of the bright soliton is very regular. Those phenomena can be useful for developing concrete applications of the nonlinear matter waves. We also obtain the orbital equation of the bright soliton and get some interesting data which may be useful for the experimental observation of the bright soliton and the application of the atom laser with manipulated intensity.  相似文献

Multifunctional TiO2/Ag composite nanowires are fabricated with a hydrothermal method by precipitating Ag nanoparticles (NPs) on the surfaces of TiO2 nanowires. This hierarchical one-dimensional (1D) nanostructure can be used as a surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrate with high sensitivity, for detecting the rhodamine 6G (R6G) in a wide range of low concentrations (from 1 × 10 6 M to 1 × 10-12 M). In addition, the substrate can be self-cleaned under the irradiation of ultraviolet (UV) light due to the superior photocatalytic capacity of the TiO2/Ag composite nanostructure, making the recycled use of SERS substrates closer to reality. With both the evident SERS performance and high efficiency of photocatalytic capacity, such TiOz/Ag composite nanowires demonstrate considerable potential in the chemical sensing of organic pollutants.  相似文献

For 112 target nuclei (52 elements) with proton as projectile, we calculate the reaction cross sections and elastic scattering angular distributions, as well as the X^2 values for 16 kinds of proton optical model potentials: two sets of phenomenological global optical potentials and the microscopic optical potentials proposed by Shen et al for 14 sets of Skyrme force parameters: GSI-6, SBJS, SKM, SGI-Ⅱ, SKa-b, SCOI-Ⅱ. We find that for obtaining the proton microscopic optical potential based on the nuclear matter approach with Skyrme force, SGI, SKa and SKb are the three sets of optimal Skyrme force parameters.  相似文献

In this paper we present a theoretical analysis on the determination of the scaling parameter in the complex-rotated Hamiltonian, which has served as a basis for successful applications of the rigged Hilbert space theory for resonances. Based on the complex energy eigenvalue, E(θ) = ER(θ) - iГ(θ)/2, as a function of the scaling parameter θ, we find that for potential barrier scattering, the condition dГ(θI)/dθ = 0 uniquely determines the scaling parameter 8. The condition d ER (θR)/ dθ = 0 is merely a consequence of the Virial theorem and θI =θR is not a necessary condition for a resonance state. We also provide a harmonic approximation formMism for resonances in scattering over a potential barrier.  相似文献

Understanding the cause of the synchronization of population evolution is an important issue for ecological improvement. Here we present a Lotka-Volterra-type model driven by two correlated environmental noises and show, via theoretical analysis and direct simulation, that noise correlation can induce a synchronization of the mutualists. The time series of mutual species exhibit a chaotic-like fluctuation, which is independent of the noise correlation, however, the chaotic fluctuation of mutual species ratio decreases with the noise correlation. A quantitative parameter defined for characterizing chaotic fluctuation provides a good approach to measure when the complete synchronization happens.  相似文献

Data sets were collected with the BESⅢ detector at the BEPCⅡ collider at the center-of-mass energy of √s=3.650 GeV during May 2009 and at √s=3.773 GeV from January 2010 to May 2011. By analyzing the large angle Bhabha scattering events, the integrated luminosities of the two data sets are measured to be (44.49±0.02±0.44) pb-1 and (2916.94±0.18±29.17) pb-1, respectively, where the first error is statistical and the second error is systematic.  相似文献

Total atomic scattering factors for the 1s^23s ^2S stages for the lithium isoelectronic sequence from Z = 3 - 10 are calculated by using the full core plus correlation wave function. The influence of electron correlation on total atomic scattering factors is considered sufficiently in our calculation. For the 1s^2 3s ^2S states of the lithium isoelectronic sequence, the general functional behaviour of total atomic scattering factors is analyzed together for each state of the isoelectronic sequence.  相似文献

Using the integral representation of the Jost solution, we deduce some conditions as the kernel function N(x, y, t) if the Jost solution satisfies the two Lax equations. Based on the quark-gluon structure of nucleon and the existence of Odderon in nucleon via gluon selfinteraction, the elastic scattering of pp at high energies is studied. Our theoretical predictions reproduce experimental data perfectly. The contributions from individual terms of quark-quark, gluon-gluon interactions, quark-gluon interference and the Odderon terms to total cross section are analyzed. In addition to the leading quark-quark contribution, the Odderon contribution is quite important. In particular, the Odderon plays an essential role in fitting to data. Therefore, We may claim that the high energy pp and pp elastic scattering may be good processes to search for the Odderon, the three Reggeized gluon bound states.  相似文献

In this article, a new type of superimposing morphology comprised of a periodic nanostructure and a random structure is proposed for the first time to enhance the light scattering in silicon-based thin film solar cells. According to the framework of the Reyleigh-Sommerfeld diffraction algorithm and the experimental results of random morphologies, we analyze the light-scattering properties of four superimposing morphologies and compare them with the individual morphologies in detail. The results indicate that the superimposing morphology can offer a better light trapping capacity, owing to the coexistence of the random scattering mechanism and the periodic scattering mechanism. Its scattering property will be dominated by the individual nanostructures whose geometrical features play the leading role.  相似文献

In this paper, a reverse electric field Monte Carlo (REMC) method is proposed to study the vector radiation transfer in the atmosphere. The REMC is based on tracing the multiply scattered electric field to simulate the vector transmitted radiance. The reflected intensities with different total optical depth values are obtained, which accord well with the results in the previous research. Stokes vector and the degree of polarization are numerically investigated. The simulation result shows that when the solar zenith angle is determined, the zenith angle of detector has two points, of which the degree of polarization does not change with the ground albedo and the optical depth. The two points change regularly with the solar zenith angle. Moreover, our REMC method can be applied to the vector radiative transfer in the atmosphere-ocean system.  相似文献

The status and accuracy of the precision Monte Carlo generators used for luminosity measurements at flavour factories is reviewed. It is shown that, thanks to a considerable, long-term effort in tuned comparisons between the predictions of independent programs, as well as in the validation of the generators against the presently available calculations of the next-to-next-to-leading order QED corrections to Bhabha scattering, the theoretical accuracy reached by the most precise tools is of about one per mille. This error estimate is valid for realistic experimental cuts, appears to be quite robust and is already sufficient for very accurate luminosity measurements. However, recent progress and possible advances to further improve it are also discussed.  相似文献
