We investigate the effect of an external periodic modulation on the one-dimensional (1D) Bose-Einstein conden- sate with harmonic trapping potential. By numerically solving the Gross-Pitaevskii equation with symplectic algorithm, the nonlinear resonance phenomenon is shown and the corresponding Fourier spectrum is given. The autoresonance phe- nomenon is also presented under almost periodic external modulation, and it shows that the condensate eventually evolves into quasi-periodic oscillation.  相似文献

Two new exact, rational and periodic wave solutions are derived for the two-dimensional Boussinesq equation. For the first solution it is obtained by performing an appropriate limiting procedure on the soliton solutions obtained by Hirota bilinear method. The second one in terms of Riemann theta function is explicitly presented by virtue of Hirota bilinear method and its asymptotic property is also analyzed in detail. Moreover, it is of interest to note that classical soliton solutions can be reduced from the periodic wave solutions.  相似文献

We study an intense beam propagating through the double periodic focusing channel by the particle-core model, and obtain the beam envelope equation. According to the Poincare-Lyapunov theorem, we analyze the stability of beam envelope equation and find the beam halo. The soliton control method for controlling the beam halo-chaos is put forward based on mechanism of halo formation and strategy of controlling beam halo-chaos, and we also prove the validity of the control method, and furthermore, the feasible experimental project is given. We perform multiparticle simulation to control the halo by using the soliton controller. It is shown that our control method is effective. We also find the radial ion density changes when the ion beam is in the channel, not only the halo-chaos and its regeneration can be eliminated by using the nonlinear control method, but also the density uniformity can be found at beam's centre as long as an appropriate control method is chosen.  相似文献

The extended homoclinic test function method is a kind of classic, efficient and well-developed method to solve nonlinear evolution equations. In this paper, with the help of this approach, we obtain new exact solutions (including kinky periodic solitary-wave solutions, periodic soliton solutions, and cross kink-wave solutions) for the new (2+1)-dimensional KdV equation. These results enrich the variety of the dynamics of higher-dimensionai nonlinear wave field.  相似文献

In this paper, dependent and independent variable transformations are introduced to solve the negative mKdV equation systematically by using the knowledge of elliptic equation and Jacobian elliptic functions. A general solution including three arbitrary functions is obtained for the (2+1)-dimensional higher-order Broer-Kaup equation by means of WTC truncation method. Introducing proper multiple valued functions and Jacobi elliptic functions in the seed solution, special types of periodic folded waves are derived. In long wave limit these periodic folded wave patterns may degenerate into single localized folded solitary wave excitations. The interactions of the periodic folded waves and their degenerated single folded solitary waves are investigated graphically and are found to be completely elastic.  相似文献

In this paper, a kind of second-order two-scale (SOTS) computation is developed for conductive-radiative heat trans- fer problem in periodic porous materials. First of all, by the asymptotic expansion of the temperature field, the cell problem, homogenization problem, and second-order correctors are obtained successively. Then, the corresponding finite element al- gorithms are proposed. Finally, some numerical results are presented and compared with theoretical results. The numerical results of the proposed algorithm conform with those of the FE algorithm well, demonstrating the accuracy of the present method and its potential applications in thermal engineering of porous materials.  相似文献

With the aid of computerized symbolic computation, an improved F-expansion method is presented to uniformly construct more new exact doubly periodic solutions in terms of rational formal Jscobi elliptic function of nonlinear partial differential equations (NPDFs). The coupled Drinfel'd-Sokolov-Wilson equation is chosen to illustrate the method. As a result, we can successfully obtain abundant new doubly periodic solutions without calculating various Jacobi elliptic functions. In the limit cases, the rational solitary wave solutions and trigonometric function solutions are obtained as well.  相似文献

In the paper, the variable separation approach, homoclinic test technique and bilinear method are successfully extended to a (1 +1)-dimensional Caudry-Dodd-Gibbon-Sawada-Kortera (CDGSK) system, respectively. Based on the derived exact solutions, some significant types of localized excitations such as standing waves, periodic waves, solitary waves are simultaneously derived from the (1+1)-dimensional Caudry-Dodd-Gibbon-Sawada-Kortera system by entrancing appropriate parameters.  相似文献

For describing various complex nonlinear phenomena in the realistic world, the higher-dimensional nonlinear evolution equations appear more attractive in many fields of physical and engineering sciences. In this paper we study a negatively charged exciton (NCE), which is trapped by a two-dimensional (2D) parabolic potential. By using matrix diagonalization techniques, the correlation energies of the low-lying states with L=0, 1, and 2 are calculated as a function of confinement strength. We find that the size effects of different states are different. This phenomenon can be explained as a hidden symmetry, which is originated purely from symmetry. Based on symmetry, the features of the low-lying states are discussed in the influence of the 2D parabolic potential well. It is found that the confinement may cause accidental degeneracies between levels with different low-excited states. It is shown that the effect of quantum confinement on the binding energy of the heavy hole is stronger than that of a light hole.  相似文献

A multi-channel front-end ASIC has been developed for a fast neutron spectrometer based on Gas Electron Multiplier (GEM)-Time Projection Chamber (TPC). Charge Amplifier and Shaping Amplifier for GEM (CASAGEM) integrates 16+1 channels: 16 channels for anodes and 1 channel for cathode. The gain and the shaping time are adjustable from 2 to 40 mV/fC and from 20 to 80 ns, respectively. The prototype ASIC is fabricated in 0.35 μm CMOS process. An evaluation Print Circuit Board (PCB) was also developed for chip tests. In total 20 chips have been tested. The integrated nonlinearity is less than 1%. The equivalent noise electrons is less than 2000e when the input capacitor is 50 pF. The time jitter is less than 1 ns. The design and the test results are presented in the paper.  相似文献

We investigate the boundary vaJue problem (BVP) of a quasi-one-dimensional Gross-Pitaevskii equation with the Kronig-Penney potential (KPP) of period d, which governs a repulsive Bose-Einstein condensate. Under the zero and periodic boundary conditions, we show how to determine n exact stationary eigenstates {Rn} corresponding to different chemical potentials {μn} from the known solutions of the system. The n-th eigenstate P~ is the Jacobian elliptic function with period 2din for n = 1,2,…, and with zero points containing the potential barrier positions. So Rn is differentiable at any spatial point and R2 describes n complete wave-packets in each period of the KPP. It is revealed that one can use a laser pulse modeled by a 5 potential at site xi to manipulate the transitions from the states of {Rn} with zero Point x≠xi to the states of {Rn'} with zero Point x= Xi. The results suggest an experimental scheme for applying BEC to test the BVP and to observe the macroscopic quantum transitions.  相似文献

Abstract A simple scheme for teleporting an unknown M-qubit cat-like state is proposed. The steps of this scheme can be summarized simply: disentangle-teleport-reconstruct entanglement. If proper unitary operations and measurements from senders are given, the teleportation of an unknown M-qubit cat-like state can be converted into single qubit teleportation. In the meantime, the receiver should also carry out right unitary operations with the introduction of appropriate ancillary qubits to confirm the successful teleportation of the demanded entangled state. The present scheme can be generalized to teleport an unknown M-quNit state, i.e., an M-quNit state can be teleported by a single quNit entangled pair.  相似文献

The interaction between a wedge disclination dipole and a crack emanating from a semi-elliptic hole is investigated. Utilising the complex variable method, the closed form solutions are derived for complex potentials and stress fields. The stress intensity factor at the tip of the crack and the image force acting on the disclination dipole center are also calculated. The influence of the morphology of the blunt crack and the position of the disclination dipole on the shielding effect to the crack and the image force is examined in detail. The results indicate that the shielding or anti-shielding effect to the stress intensity factor increases when the wedge disclination dipole approaches the tip of the crack. The effects of the morphology of the blunt crack on the stress intensity factor of the crack and the image force are very significant.  相似文献
