In this paper, new delay-dependent stability criteria for asymptotic stability of neural networks with time-varying delays are derived. The stability conditions are represented in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs) by constructing new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional. The proposed functional has an augmented quadratic form with states as well as the nonlinear function to consider the sector and the slope constraints. The less conservativeness of the proposed stability criteria can be guaranteed by using convex properties of the nonlinear function which satisfies the sector and slope bound.Numerical examples are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, the global stability of Takagi-Sugeno (TS) uncertain stochastic fuzzy recurrent neural networks with discrete and distributed time-varying delays (TSUSFRNNs) is considered.A novel LMI-based stability criterion is obtained by using Lyapunov functional theory to guarantee the asymptotic stability of TSUSFRNNs.The proposed stability conditions are demonstrated through numerical examples.Furthermore, the supplementary requirement that the time derivative of time-varying delays must be smaller than one is removed.Comparison results are demonstrated to show that the proposed method is more able to guarantee the widest stability region than the other methods available in the existing literature.  相似文献

This paper presents a novel approach to hyperchaos control of hyperchaotic systems based on impulsive control and the Takagi--Sugeno (T--S) fuzzy model. In this study, the hyperchaotic Lü system is exactly represented by the T--S fuzzy model and an impulsive control framework is proposed for stabilizing the hyperchaotic Lü system, which is also suitable for classes of T--S fuzzy hyperchaotic systems, such as the hyperchaotic R?ssler, Chen, Chua systems and so on. Sufficient conditions for achieving stability in impulsive T--S fuzzy hyperchaotic systems are derived by using Lyapunov stability theory in the form of the linear matrix inequality, and are less conservative in comparison with existing results. Numerical simulations are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper studies the problem of linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach to robust stability analysis for stochastic neural networks with a time-varying delay. By developing a delay decomposition approach, the information of the delayed plant states can be taken into full consideration. Based on the new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, some inequality techniques and stochastic stability theory, new delay-dependent stability criteria are obtained in terms of LMIs. The proposed results prove the less conservatism, which are realized by choosing new Lyapunov matrices in the decomposed integral intervals. Finally, numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the less conservatism and effectiveness of the proposed LMI method.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of stability analysis for neural networks with time-varying delays is considered.By constructing a new augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii’s functional and some novel analysis techniques, improved delaydependent criteria for checking the stability of the neural networks are established. The proposed criteria are presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs) which can be easily solved and checked by various convex optimization algorithms. Two numerical examples are included to show the superiority of our results.  相似文献

Fuzzy cellular neural networks (FCNNs) are special kinds of cellular neural networks (CNNs). Each cell in an FCNN contains fuzzy operating abilities. The entire network is governed by cellular computing laws. The design of FCNNs is based on fuzzy local rules. In this paper, a linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach for synchronization control of FCNNs with mixed delays is investigated. Mixed delays include discrete time-varying delays and unbounded distributed delays. A dynamic control scheme is proposed to achieve the synchronization between a drive network and a response network. By constructing the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional which contains a triple-integral term and the free-weighting matrices method an improved delay-dependent stability criterion is derived in terms of LMIs. The controller can be easily obtained by solving the derived LMIs. A numerical example and its simulations are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the problem of delay-dependent robust H∞control for a class of uncertain systems with two additive time-varying delays. A new suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional(LKF) with triple integral terms is constructed and a tighter upper bound of the derivative of the LKF is derived. By applying a convex optimization technique, new delay-dependent robust H∞stability criteria are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMI). Based on the stability criteria, a state feedback controller is designed such that the closed-loop system is asymptotically stable. Finally, numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Comparison results show that our results are less conservative than the existing methods.  相似文献

This paper studies the global exponential stability of competitive neural networks with different time scales and time-varying delays. By using the method of the proper Lyapunov functions and inequality technique, some sufficient conditions are presented for global exponential stability of delay competitive neural networks with different time scales. These conditions obtained have important leading significance in the designs and applications of global exponential stability for competitive neural networks. Finally, an example with its simulation is provided to demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed criteria.  相似文献

We study the problems of stability and stabilization for Takagi-Sugeno(T-S) fuzzy time-delay systems.First,by constructing a less-redundant Lyapunov-Krasovskii function and introducing a useful inequality,an innovative stability criterion is obtained, which gives a significant improvement on the performance.Compared with the exiting references, our result can use fewer unknown variables and get better results.Furthermore, based on the derived stability criteria,a new stabilization condition is developed,in which the controller gain and the maximum allowable delay bound can be obtained simultaneously. The conditions are all derived in the form of linear matrix inequality, which are easy to verify. Finally, numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed methods.  相似文献

This paper presents the synchronisation of chaotic systems using a sampled-data fuzzy controller and is meaningful for many physical real-life applications. Firstly, a Takagi--Sugeno (T--S) fuzzy model is employed to represent the chaotic systems that contain some nonlinear terms, then a type of fuzzy sampled-data controller is proposed and an error system formed by the response and drive chaotic system. Secondly, relaxed LMI-based synchronisation conditions are derived by using a new parameter-dependent Lyapunov--Krasovskii functional and relaxed stabilisation techniques for the underlying error system. The derived LMI-based conditions are used to aid the design of a sampled-data fuzzy controller to achieve the synchronisation of chaotic systems. Finally, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.  相似文献

This Letter deals with the problem of delay-dependent robust exponential stability in mean square for a class of uncertain stochastic Hopfield neural networks with discrete and distributed time-varying delays. Based on Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and the stochastic stability theory, delay-dependent stability criteria are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Because of introducing some free-weighting matrices to develop the stability criteria, the proposed stability conditions have less conservatism. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

This Letter is concerned with stability analysis problem for uncertain stochastic neural networks with discrete interval and distributed time-varying delays. The parameter uncertainties are assumed to be norm bounded and the delay is assumed to be time-varying and belong to a given interval, which means that the lower and upper bounds of interval time-varying delays are available. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and stochastic stability theory, delay-interval dependent stability criteria are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Some stability criteria are formulated by means of the feasibility of a linear matrix inequality (LMI) and by introducing some free-weighting matrices. Finally, two numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the less conservatism and effectiveness of the proposed LMI conditions.  相似文献

This Letter considers the problem of delay-range-dependent stability for fuzzy bi-directional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with time-varying interval delays. Based on Lyapunov-Krasovskii theory, the delay-range-dependent stability criteria are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). By constructing new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, stability conditions are dependent on the upper and lower bounds of the delays, which is made possible by using some advanced techniques for achieving delay dependence. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

The problem of stability analysis of neural networks with time-varying delay in a given range is investigated in this Letter. By introducing a new Lyapunov functional which uses the information on the lower bound of the delay sufficiently and an augmented Lyapunov functional which contains some triple-integral terms, some improved delay-dependent stability criteria are derived using the free-weighting matrices method. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the less conservatism of the obtained results and the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This Letter studies the exponential stability for a class of neural networks (NNs) with both discrete and distributed time-varying delays. Under weaker assumptions on the activation functions, by defining a more general type of Lyapunov functionals and developing a new convex combination technique, new less conservative and less complex stability criteria are established to guarantee the global exponential stability of the discussed NNs. The obtained conditions are dependent on both discrete and distributed delays, are expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), and contain fewer decision variables. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness and the less conservatism of the proposed conditions.  相似文献

The problem of delay-dependent asymptotic stability for neural networks with interval time-varying delay is investigated. Based on the idea of delay decomposition method, a new type of Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is constructed. Several novel delay-dependent stability criteria are presented in terms of linear matrix inequality by using the Jensen integral inequality and a new convex combination technique. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate that the proposed method is effective and less conservative.  相似文献
