By analogy with the bosonic bipartite entangled state we construct fermionic entangled state with the Grassmann numbers. The Wigner operator in the fermionic entangled state representation is introduced, whose marginal distributions are understood in an entangled way. In this letter we study fermionic zero modes in gauge and gravity backgrounds taking a two-dimensional compact manifold S2 as extra dimensions. The result is that there exist massless Dirac fermions which have normalizable zero modes under quite general assumptions about these backgrounds on the bulk. Several special cases of gauge background on the sphere axe discussed and some simple fermionic zero modes are obtained. 相似文献

We study fermionic zero modes in the self-dual vortex background on an extra two-dimensional Riemann surface in (5+1) dimensions. Using the generalized Abelian-Higgs model, we obtain the inner topological structure of the self-dual vortex and establish the exact self-duality equation with topological term. Then we analyze the Dirac operator on an extra torus and the effective Lagrangian of four-dimensional fermions with the self-dual vortex background. Solving the Dirac equation, the fermionic zero modes on a torus with the self-dual vortex background in two simple cases are obtained. 相似文献

We consider the discrete time dynamics of an ensemble of fermionic quantum walkers moving on a finite discrete sample, interacting with a reservoir of infinitely many quantum particles on the one dimensional lattice. The reservoir is given by a fermionic quasifree state, with free discrete dynamics given by the shift, whereas the free dynamics of the non-interacting quantum walkers in the sample is defined by means of a unitary matrix. The reservoir and the sample exchange particles at specific sites by a unitary coupling and we study the discrete dynamics of the coupled system defined by the iteration of the free discrete dynamics acting on the unitary coupling, in a variety of situations. In particular, in absence of correlation within the particles of the reservoir and under natural assumptions on the sample’s dynamics, we prove that the one- and two-body reduced density matrices of the sample admit large times limits characterized by the state of the reservoir which are independent of the free dynamics of the quantum walkers and of the coupling strength. Moreover, the corresponding asymptotic density profile in the sample is flat and the correlations of number operators have no structure, a manifestation of thermalization. 相似文献

We propose a scheme to partially teleport an unknown entangled atomic state. A high-Q cavity, supporting one mode of a weak coherent state, is needed to accomplish this process. By partial teleportation we mean that teleportation will occur by changing one of the partners of the entangled state to be teleported. The entangled state to be teleported is composed by one pair of particles, we called this surprising characteristic of maintaining the entanglement, even when one of the particle of the entangled pair being teleported is changed, of divorce of entangled states. 相似文献

We deduce entangled fractional Fourier transformation (EFFT) for
the multipartite entangled state representation, which was newly
constructed with two mutually conjugate n-mode entangled states of
continuum variables in n-mode Fock space. We establish a formalism
of EFFT for quantum mechanical wave functions, which provides
us a convenient way to derive some wave functions. We find that
the eigenmode of EFFT is different from the usual Hermite Polynomials.

Maximally entangled states, defined as those states that have the maximal entanglement of formation under some entanglement measure, are the ideal resource for many quantum missions. In this paper, we call a convex roof of maximally entangled pure states a quasi maximally entangled state. First, we present the concept of a witness for non-quasi maximally entangled states, which is an observable that can distinguish some non-quasi maximally entangled states from quasi maximally entangled ones. Then we prove that every non-quasi maximally entangled state can be witnessed by a witness and obtain some necessary and sufficient conditions for an observable to be a witness for non-quasi maximally entangled states. Lastly, we give some classes of Hermitian operators, which can become witnesses. Especially, we compute non-quasi maximally entangled states that can be detected by a specific product operator. 相似文献

We propose a scheme for preparing multi-photon entangled state which is useful for sub-shot-noise sensitivity with beam splitter, where the entangled degree is measured by the reciprocal of the mean quantum Fisher information per particle (RMQFIP). In this paper, the theoretical investigation of remote preparation of an entangled state is studied in nonideal conditions. Our studies include two parts. In the first part, we consider the remote state preparation (RSP) of an entangled state through two equally noisy quantum channel states, namely, a mixture of Bell states. Studies show there is a particular mixed-state channel for which all pure entangled states remain entangled after this inexact RSP. In the second part, we suppose that noises which quantum channels suffer from can be expressed as the Lindblad operators.The master equation of the system can be expressed in the Lindblad form. Through solving the master equation, we calculate the fidelity as a function of decoherence rates and parameters of the state to be prepared. For a given entangled state, we investigate the influenceof different types of noises on the fidelity. 相似文献
