The secondary ion emission from metal supported amino acid layers has been investigated. Submono-, mono- and multilayers have been prepared under UHV conditions by a molecular beam technique. The influence of the substrate metal, the relative coverage, the sample temperature and the ion and electron prebombardment on the secondary ion emission suggests a preformation of the emitted parent-like ions on the sample surface before the ion bombardment.  相似文献

The electric field strength in the near-wall layers of thermonuclear facilities can be sufficient for the emission of negative ions from the surface of plasma facing materials. The mass spectra of negative ions from MPG-8 porous graphite at electric field strengths up to 4 × 106 V/m and the surface composition of the target have been studied by ion scattering spectroscopy. The dependence of the mass composition of negative ion emission and residual gas on the sample’s temperature has been measured and a correlation between the intensity of negative hydrogen-ion emission and the desorption of water has been established. The temperature dependence of the emission of negative ions and clusters of carbon and hydrocarbon is in qualitative agreement with the chemical erosion of graphite.  相似文献

Ti:sapphire femtosecond laser ablation of silicon has been investigated by Langmuir probe and time-gated optical emission spectroscopy. The measured spectra show the presence of a fast ion population preceding the main plume core of slow ions and neutrals produced by a thermal ablation mechanism. By analyzing the fluence thresholds for the emission of the two ion populations, we provide clear experimental evidence that fast ions are ejected non-thermally from the sample surface as a result of the Si surface supercritical state induced by the intense ultrashort laser pulse irradiation. We predict enhanced laser cooling performance of rare-earth-ions-doped glasses containing nanometre-sized ultrafine particles, which can be achieved by the enhanucement of locai field around rare earth ions, owing to the surface plasma resonance of small metallic particles. The influence of energy transfer between ions and the particle is theoretically discussed. Depending on the particle size and the ion emission quantum efficiency, the enhancement of the absorption is predicted. It is concluded that the absorption are greatly enhanced in these composite materials, the cooling power is increased as compared to the bulk material.  相似文献

Experimental studies of the mechanism of negative ion and cluster ion emission from surfaces of ferroelectrics are described. The emission was produced by negative voltage pulses with the amplitude of about 400 V, with a rapid rise-time (below 10 ns) and a slow decay‐time (several μs). The pulses were applied between the back side of the ferroelectric sample and the metal tip touching the front emitting side. The surface of the ferroelectrics could be cleaned in situ by 1 keV Ar+ bombardment. The morphologic changes around the tip were observed with an atomic force microscope (AFM). Mostly negative ions and cluster ions were emitted and studied in our experiments. Positive ions were detected with much lower probability and are produced by an entirely different microscopic process than negative ions. Masses as well as energies of emitted ions were measured with a time-of-flight (TOF) spectrometer and compared with available spontaneous desorption (SD) spectra and Cs‐SIMS spectra in order to clarify the mechanism of the emission. The trajectory of ions emitted from the sample was studied by computer simulation. The conclusion of these studies is that the negative ion emission is caused by the Coulomb explosion of a polarization cloud rapidly formed at the front edge of the pulse. The explosion takes place in the vicinity of the tip-sample contact at distances several tens of μm from the contact where the stabilizing effect of the positively charged tip is already small.  相似文献

It has been found that, in contrast to the commonly accepted opinion, simultaneous irradiation by 15-keV Ar+ ions and 2.5-keV electrons at temperatures above 0.5T m (T m is the melting temperature) induces much larger sputtering of metallic copper, nickel, and steel than irradiation only by Ar+ ions. The effect increases with the temperature. At T = 0.7T m, the sputtering coefficients in the case of ion-electron irradiation are more than twice as large as the sputtering coefficients in the case of irradiation by Ar+ ions. The experiments on the sublimation of copper show that the sublimation rate in the case of the heating of a sample by an electron beam is higher than that in the case of heating in an electric vacuum oven. The revealed effects are explained by the electron-induced excitation of adatoms (atoms stuck over the surface, which appear owing to ion bombardment). Excited adatoms have a smaller binding energy with the surface and are sputtered more easily.  相似文献

The properties of one-photon absorption(OPA), emission and two-photon absorption(TPA) of a di-2-picolylaminebased zinc ion sensor are investigated by employing the density functional theory in combination with response functions.The responsive mechanism is explored. It is found that the calculated OPA and TPA properties are quite consistent with experimental data. Because the intra-molecular charge transfer(ICT) increases upon zinc ion binding, the TPA intensity is enhanced dramatically. According to the model sensor, we design a series of zinc ion probes which differ by conjugation center, acceptor and donor moieties. The properties of OPA, emission and TPA of the designed molecules are calculated at the same computational level. Our results demonstrate that the OPA and emission wavelengths of the designed probes have large red-shifts after zinc ions have been bound. Comparing with the model sensor, the TPA intensities of the designed probes are enhanced significantly and the absorption positions are red-shifted to longer wavelength range. Furthermore, the TPA intensity can be improved greatly upon zinc ion binding due to the increased ICT mechanism. These compounds are potential excellent candidates for two-photon fluorescent zinc ion probes.  相似文献

本文研究了Ca3Al2M3O12(M=Si,Ge)石榴石中Ge^3+离子的荧光光谱。在这两种石榴石中,Ce^3+的发射光谱均为Ce^3+的5d→4f能级跃迁发射宽谱带,但有很大差异。在锗酸盐中,Ce^3+的发射强度很弱,而在硅酸盐中发射强,295和77K下在Ca3Al2Si3O12中Ce^3+的荧光寿命分别为46和49ns。Gd^3+和助溶剂的引入可提高Ce^3+的发射强度。  相似文献

采用等离子体分层模型,利用WKB近似研究了离子回旋共振加热(ICRH)天线发射谱n||对离子回旋波在托卡马克等离子体的表面功率反射系数、吸收衰减的影响,数值模拟了不同天线发射谱n||条件下快波少数离子加热的效果.模拟结果表明,当其它实验参数一定时,ICRH天线发射合适的n||能提高天线与等离子体的耦合效率,增强少数离子加热的效果.  相似文献

研究了退火温度对ZrO2纳米材料中Eu3+离子发光性质的影响. 材料的结构、晶粒尺寸和形状以及晶格的排列分别由XRD,TEM表征. 结果表明:用共沉淀法制备的ZrO2纳米材料具有不随退火温度变化、稳定的四方结构;材料的晶粒尺寸随退火温度的提高而增大;晶格的排列由无序逐渐变为有序;发射光谱表明其主要发射在595 nm和604 nm处;在394 nm的紫外光辐照下得到了不同样品的604 nm荧光发射强度的变化不同. 这种现象与样品中O2-离子含量和样品表面的表面缺陷有关;另外,电荷迁移带随退火温度的变化而变化.  相似文献

Zn2SiO4 single-doped and co-doped with Mn2+ ions and Pb2+ ions has been prepared by a sol–gel process. The luminescent properties of the samples have been investigated. From the excitation and emission spectral analysis, it was found that the emission peaks vary with the change of the excitation wavelength. An enhanced luminescent characteristic of Mn2+ ions (in blue and green spectral zones) has been observed, due to the energy transfer from the Pb2+ ion to the Mn2+ ion. The emission peaks originate from the d–d transitions of the Mn2+ ion. However, the relative intensities of the peaks show a dependence on the concentration of the Pb2+ ion. In this paper, we studied the changes in the photoluminescence spectra of the Ar+ ion implanted mono-crystalline sapphire annealed at different atmospheres and different temperatures. Single crystals of sapphire (Al2O3) with the (1 0 1¯ 0) (m-samples) orientation were implanted at 623 K with 110 keV Ar+ ions to a fluence of 9.5×1016 ions/cm2. Photoluminescence measurement of the as-implanted sample shows a new emission band at 506 nm, which is attributed to the production of interstitial Al atoms. The intensity of emission band at 506 nm first increased then decreased with increase in annealing temperature. For the same annealing temperature, the intensity of PL peak at 506 nm of the sample annealed in air was higher than the sample annealed in vacuum. The experimental results show that the intensity of the PL peak at 506 nm of Ar-implanted sapphire can be enhanced by subsequent annealing with an enhancement of nearly 20 times. The influence of thermal annealing of the Ar-implanted samples on the new 506 nm emission band was discussed.  相似文献

Ion-beam emission from a gas field ion source can considerably be improved by employing base tips of spherical instead of paraboloidal geometry. With such tips, due to their better electrical field distribution, gas supply is enhanced and desorption reduced. 在一维平板鞘层中采用流体模型分别研究了不同成分无碰撞等离子体鞘层的玻姆判据.通过拟牛顿法数值模拟了含有电子、离子、负离子以及二次电子的等离子体鞘层玻姆判据.结果表明二次电子发射增加了鞘层离子马赫数的临界值,且器壁发射二次电子温度越高,离子马赫数临界值越小.负离子使离子马赫数临界值减小.而在含有二次电子和负离子的等离子体鞘层中,当负离子较少时,二次电子发射对离子马赫数临界值影响较大;当负离子增加时,离子马赫数的临界值则主要受负离子的影响. 关键词: 鞘层 等离子体 玻姆判据  相似文献

Ion-induced secondary electron emission was studied for vanadium and niobium cluster ions at incident energies between 12.5 and 25 keV. The number of electrons ejected per incident atomic particle was found to be solely a function of the velocity, being independent of the number of atoms in the cluster. In spite of the extremely high energy densities created by cluster ion impact, there is no enhanced electron emission from collision spikes. This is discussed in terms of energy coupling between the system of lattice atoms and that of the electrons in the solid.  相似文献

Secondary ion emission from silicon and graphite single crystals bombarded by argon ions with energies E 0 varied from 1 to 10 keV at various angles of incidence α has been studied. The evolution of the energy spectra of C+ and Si+ secondary ions has been traced in which the positions of maxima (E max) shift toward higher secondary-ion energies E 1 with increasing polar emission angle θ (measured from the normal to the sample surface). The opposite trend has been observed for ions emitted from single crystals heated to several hundred degrees Centigrade; the E max values initially remain unchanged and then shift toward lower energies E 1 with increasing angle θ. It is established that the magnitude and position of a peak in the energy spectrum of secondary C+ ions is virtually independent of E 0, angle α, and the surface relief of the sample (in the E 0 and α intervals studied). Unusual oscillating energy distributions are discussed, which have been observed for secondary ions emitted from silicon (111) and layered graphite (0001) faces. Numerical simulations of secondary ion sputtering and charge exchange have been performed. A comparison of the measured and calculated data for graphite crystals has shown that C+ ions are formed as a result of charge exchange between secondary ions and bombarding Ar+ ions, which takes place both outside and inside the target. This substantially differs from the ion sputtering process in metals and must be taken into account when analyzing secondary ion emission mechanisms and in practical applications of secondary-ion mass spectrometry.  相似文献

用500和800℃,在氧气下,对掺Bi钨酸镉晶体进行热退火处理,测定了处理后晶体的吸收光谱与发射光谱。随退火处理温度的升高晶体的吸收强度降低,吸收边带发生蓝移。在373与980nm的光激发下,分别观察到发光中心为528nm的CdWO4晶体本征发光与发光中心为1 078nm的Bi 5+发光。晶体样品通过高温氧气处理,发光中心为528nm的荧光带强度增强,但发光中心为1 078nm的荧光带强度变弱。这可能是由于氧退火使Bi 5+转化成Bi 3+所致。经退火处理后,晶体的颜色逐渐变浅,透光率明显提高,这是由于晶体中氧空位减少所致。经γ射线辐照处理后,528nm处的发光增强,而1 078nm处的发光减弱,这可能是由于γ射线辐照后导致Bi 5+变成Bi 3+。  相似文献

Abstract

Positive and negative ion laser desorption (LD) mass spectra of organic acids are characterized by the emission of the quasimolecular ions (M+H)+ and (M-H)?. Generation of (M+H)+ ions is interpreted as evidence for the occurence of high pressure proton transfer reactions in LD. Fragment ions can be rationalized by loss of stable neutral molecules from quasimolecular ions although decomposition may also be occuring prior to ionization. Features unique to LD, including the detection of pyrolysis products along with ions characteristic of the sample, are discussed in terms of the internal energy distribution in the irradiated microvolume. Negative ion mass spectra of acids are dominated by (M-H)?, while positive ion spectra contain abundant fragment ions, underlining the utility of detecting negative ions for acidic compounds.  相似文献
