电子光学系统是毫米波速调管长寿命和整管性能实现的关键,毫米波速调管零件尺寸较小,为了在Ka波段和W波段实现千瓦量级的输出功率,要求具有高的电子注通过率及低的阴极负荷。对Ka波段和W波段电子光学系统特性进行了分析,确定了Ka波段10 kW分布作用速调管和W波段1 kW分布作用速调管电子光学系统的设计方案,利用软件对电子枪和聚焦系统的结构进行计算,并采用CST仿真软件对设计的电子枪发射的电子注在聚焦磁场中的状态进行优化。设计出的Ka波段速调管电子光学系统,电子枪工作电压26 kV,发射电流2 A,互作用区长度30 mm,磁场强度大于0.6 T,流通达到100%。设计的W波段速调管电子光学系统,电子枪工作电压17 kV,电流0.65 A,互作用区长度20 mm,磁场大于0.9 T,流通达到100%。已制成Ka波段速调管和W波段速调管,设计的电子光学系统能够满足速调管工程化需求。 相似文献

利用曲折波导慢波结构和一个长宽比为3∶1的带状电子注作为注-波互作用电路,完成了对V波段大功率行波管互作用电路的设计。分析了带状电子注通道对高频特性的影响,并在综合考虑色散和耦合阻抗的情况下得到了优化的结构参数。建立了3维的V波段带状注曲折波导行波管的电路模型,并利用CST粒子工作室完成了注-波互作用的仿真研究。研究结果表明,当工作电压和电流分别为17 kV和150 mA时,带状注曲折波导行波管在58~62 GHz时的饱和平均输出功率大于160 W,增益大于34.7 dB。 相似文献

大宽高比的非轴对称带状电子注在微波和毫米波真空电子器件中具有显著的技术优势与应用潜力. 采用轴向均匀磁场可以聚焦和传输带状电子注,且具有易于实现电子注与磁场的匹配和调节、聚焦强流电子注以及无传输截止电压限制等优点,但面临严重的Diocotron不稳定性. 结合单粒子模型理论和冷流模型理论,对带状电子注传输特性进行的研究及其数值计算表明,通过详细设计带状注电子光学系统物理参数,增强聚焦磁场并在传输通道高度方向上选择较大的电子注填充比,可以有效降低Diocotron不稳定性对带状电子注的影响,并实现其长距离稳

提出了一类新型毫米波大功率微波器件——脊加载曲折波导行波管,推导出了引入电子注后的"热"色散方程.通过数值求解此方程,研究了加脊尺寸和电子注参数对小信号增益影响.计算结果表明:通过适当的尺寸设计和工作参数的选择,此结构在Kα波段具有18.51%的3 dB增益带宽和1.15 dB/周期的增益;相比于常规曲折波导结构,脊加载结构在保证一定带宽的情况下,具有更高的增益和电子效率;为了进一步提高增益,可以适当增加脊宽度和高度,也可在一定范围内增加电子注电流.

A novel Smith-Purcell FEL with a relativistic electron beam of middle energy and a quasi-optical resonator composed of diffraction grating and three mirror reflector is described in this paper. Coherent radiation with peak power of tens of KW at 3 mm waveband is successfully detected from an experimental facility characterized by beam energy of 400-500 KeV, pulse length of 70 ns, pulse beam current of 0.2 KA, and pulse guide magnetic field of up to 1.2 T. 相似文献

Intense submillimeter wavelength radiation (f=354 GHz, P=110 W) from Gyrotron FU II is converted into a well-collimated, linearly-polarized beam by a quasi-optical transmission line consisting of a quasi-optical antenna and several mirrors. The observed focusing of the beam agrees with calculations based on the Huygens equation. The quasi-optical approach has been used to study the linear and nonlinear stages of instability of an electron beam propagating near a flat boundary of an absorbing medium with dissipative characteristics that can be described by the Leontovich impedance boundary conditions.
