A blending process involving the mixing of powders of NdFeB and pure copper and pure cobalt has been developed. This process has been shown to be an effective and simple way of adding copper or cobalt and copper to the composition. This allows the composition and hence properties of the finished magnets to be adjusted subsequent to the casting and milling of the basic alloy. Additions of more than 0.4 at% Cu resulted in poor densification. The coercivities of the magnets containing Cu were very much dependent on the heat treatment. A treatment of 500°C for 1 h followed by rapid cooling, yielded an excellent coercivity for 0.25 at% addition of Cu; however, the same heat treatment decreased the coercivity significantly for an addition of 0.15 at% Cu. Examination of the microstructure showed that Cu was affecting the grain size and nature of the grain boundary phases. A combined addition of 0.25 at% Cu and Co allowed Co to be added without excessive loss in coercivity. Increased Co content led to improved Curie temperature and remanence. The combined addition led to the formation of Nd3Co as the main grain boundary phase. The optimal heat treatment for magnets containing both Co and Cu was 900°C for 10 h followed by 500°C for 1 h and a rapid cool. However, the lower temperature treatment on its own also yielded excellent properties.  相似文献

In this study, magnetic domains in Pr16Fe76B8 sintered magnets have been observed by Kerr effect and a histogram of the angular distribution of domain orientations has been used to determine the magnetic texture (cos Φ). The degree of easy-axis alignment of Pr2Fe14B matrix grains in these magnets has been also determined by X-ray pole figure analysis using the (0 0 4) reflection. The (0 0 4) pole figure measurements were carried out by the Schultz's reflection method. The (0 0 4) normalized intensity data has been fitted for a Gaussian distribution and the degree of crystal alignment, cos Θ, has been calculated using the Stoner–Wohlfarth model. Comparison of these methods has been carried out. It has been shown that in magnets with medium and high degrees of crystallographic alignment, the pole figure values are higher than that obtained by the Kerr effect method. Conversely, in magnets with low degrees of alignment, cos Θ is lower than cos Φ.  相似文献

Although the effects of impurities in metallic magnets have been extensively studied there have been far fewer experiments on impurities in insulating magnets, and, in an effort to understand this problem, we have investigated the effect of impurities in various systems. In MnCl2⋅4H2O samples doped with 1.6, 4.0 and 6.2% Co, the 54Mn NMRON line is significantly broadened compared to the line in the pure crystal and shows structure on the low frequency side. The nuclear spin-lattice relaxation time is also lower by an order of magnitude. 54Mn has also been doped into FeCl2⋅4H2O for which a 4-sublattice structure has been proposed and some details of this structure have been obtained. 对烧结Nd15Fe72-xCoyNbxB8(y=0, 5;x=0, 05, 10, 15, 20, 25)永磁体的微观结构和冲击韧性及二者间的关系进行了研究.结果表明,添加Nb能够改善Nd-Fe-B磁体的微观结构,提高磁体的冲击韧性.当无Co磁体中Nb的原子百分含量为15%时,其冲击韧性达到最大;对于添加了Co的磁体,其冲击韧性的 关键词: Nd-Fe-B 冲击韧性 微观结构 晶界  相似文献

This paper investigates the single-molecule magnets of pure and Cr/Fe-doped Mn12-Ac. The components of the mixed crystals are identified by AC susceptibility technique. The ground-state spin and anisotropy parameters of doped Mn12-Ac are obtained: (i) MnllCr-Ac (S=19/2, D=0.62K, B=0.0009K, A=63K), and (ii) Mn11Fe-Ac (S=21/2, D=0.39 K, B=0.001 K, △=55 K). The single-ion origin of the magnetic anisotropy is discussed.  相似文献

The feasibility to develop mini- and micro-magnetic electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) has been evaluated by prototyping of a single-phase stepper motor. The main targeted application of such device is the watch industry needing micro-motors in huge quantities at low cost. The motor part that required the greatest efforts has been the magnet, which cannot yet be found in film layer. The screen-printing technology has been used for the production of NdFeB-based magnets whose properties have been characterised. The thick film magnets have been integrated in the stepper motor specially designed for this purpose. The whole motor has been characterised and conclusions are drawn on the possibility of producing thick film magnets for magnetic MEMS.  相似文献

在波荡器和扭摆器的研制过程中,为提高磁块的测量效率和精度,提出了2维全自动亥姆霍兹线圈磁块测量方法。通过理论推导得到仅采用2维全自动旋转而不需要3维旋转就可以实现磁块的全自动测量,降低了磁块全自动测量的实现难度。根据该方法的理论,已成功研制出一台2维全自动亥姆霍兹线圈测量装备,并在上海光源的磁块测量中使用。系统地给出2维全自动亥姆霍兹线圈磁块的测量理论和方法,并对测量误差进行了分析,该系统实现了磁块剩磁测量的高效率、高精度和高重复性,可以在30 s内完成单磁块的测量,重复性和精度均好于510-4。  相似文献

The effect of small substitutions on the coercivity of Nd–Fe–B and Nd–Fe–Co–B-sintered magnets has been investigated. Addition of 0.18 at% Ga was found to be the most effective for improving the coercivity in both Nd–Fe–B and Nd–Fe–Co–B without decreasing much the remanent magnetization. Scanning electron microscopy on Ga-free and Ga-added magnets did not reveal a noticeable difference in phase morphology. However, Fe and especially Co concentrations in the intergranular Nd-rich phase were found to be markedly increased after the small Ga addition. Combined addition of Co with a small amount of Cu did not increase the coercivity of the Dy-free magnets. However, none of the examined very small additives can yet be considered as an alternative to Dy for extending operating temperature range of the high-energy Nd–Fe–B magnets.  相似文献

The effects of varying Nd-contents on the magnetic properties of Nd12.8+xFe81.2−xyzCoyGazB6 ribbons and the resulting die-upset magnets have been investigated. It was found that the Nd content has a significant effect on both magnetic properties and texture of the die-upset magnets. An optimum Nd content exhibits good texture, while both Nd-lean and excessively Nd-rich Nd-Fe-B alloys lead to unsatisfactory textures. The magnetic properties and texture of the die-upset magnets strongly deteriorated with a further increase in the Nd-content. The thermo-mechanical characteristics and the formation mechanism of two kinds of cracks in backward-extruded ring magnets have also been investigated.  相似文献

对国产Sm2Co17永磁铁(XG30/20)研制工艺进行了改进,对三种成型-烧结设计所得到的永磁铁样品(65 mm27 mm7.2 mm)进行了测试与分析,结果表明,磁性能有所改善,磁矩一致性和稳定性良好,获得了国产真空波荡器Sm2Co17永磁铁的优化成型-烧结设计和磁场分布规律数据,对永磁铁实验研究结果原理进行了解释。  相似文献

Using the spin-spiral formulation of the tight-binding linear muffin-tin orbital method, the principal components of the exchange stiffness tensor are calculated for typical hard magnets including tetragonal CoPt-type and hexagonal YCo5 alloys. The exchange stiffness is strongly anisotropic in all studied alloys. This anisotropy makes the domain wall surface tension anisotropic. Competition between this anisotropic surface tension and magnetostatic energy controls the formation and dynamics of nanoscale domain structures in hard magnets. Anisotropic domain wall bending is described in detail from the general point of view and with application to cellular Sm–Co magnets. It is shown that the repulsive cell-boundary pinning mechanism in these magnets is feasible only due to the anisotropic exchange stiffness if suitably oriented initial pinning centers are available. In polytwinned CoPt-type magnets the exchange stiffness anisotropy controls the orientation of macrodomain wall segments. These segments may reorient both statically during microstructural coarsening and dynamically during the macrodomain wall splitting in external field. Reorientation of segments may facilitate their pinning at antiphase boundaries.  相似文献

We report a new design of resonant cavity for a W-band electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectrometer. An improved coupling-adjusting mechanism, which is robust, compact, and suits with both solenoid-type and split-pair magnets, is utilized on the cavity, and thus enables both continuous-wave (CW) and pulsed EPR experiments. It is achieved by a tiny metal cylinder in the iris. The coupling coefficient can be varied from 0.2 to 17.9. Furthermore, two pistons at each end of the cavity allow for adjustment of the resonant frequency. A horizontal TE011 geometry also makes the cavity compatible with the two frequently used types of magnets. The coupling-varying ability has been demonstrated by reflection coefficient (S11) measurement. CW and pulsed EPR experiments have been conducted. The performance data indicates a prospect of wide applications of the cavity in fields of physics, chemistry and biology.  相似文献

If a permanent magnet has both a homogeneous polarization inside the material and a linear demagnetization characteristic in external fields, its magnetic field can be expressed using a surface pole model. For magnets satisfying these conditions and, in addition, having a rectangular shape, the fields at any given point in space can be calculated analytically. An algorithm for this calculation is presented in a form that can easily be implemented into a computer program. In our experiments we used Nd2Fe14B magnets to support low pressure glow discharges by magnetic fields. The magnets can be seen as composed of elementary magnets with rectangular shape, for which the magnetic field distribution is calculable. We present results of field calculations for various configurations of permanent magnets that we used in hollow cathode and Penning discharges.  相似文献

As the dipoles of SSRF booster are powered in series, the magnet field error varies from magnet to magnet and results in bad beam quality. Sorting and installing magnets according to the measured field errors so that the errors on different magnets are partially compensated with each other, has been the easiest way in many cases to reduce the detrimental effects of the errors without introducing complications. Based on the magnet field measurement results, we investigated and implemented the sorting of dipoles using a method mixed by local cancellation and simulated annealing, and it's found to be quite effective.  相似文献

Coercivity mechanism in permanent magnets has been debated for many years.In this paper, various models of the coercivity mechanism are classified and re-examined by the comparison and contrast.Coherent rotation and curling models can reveal the underlying reversal mechanism clearly based on isolated grains with elliptic shapes.By contrast, the numerical methods consider inter-grain interactions while simulating the evolution of the spins and hysteresis loops with complicated shapes.However, an exact simulation of magnetic reversal in permanent nanomagnets requires many meshes to mimic the thin domain wall well.Nucleation and pinning are the two main coercivity mechanisms in permanent magnets.The former signifies the beginning of the magnetic reversal, whilst the latter completes it.Recently, it is proposed that the large difference between the intrinsic magnetic properties of the nucleation centers and those of the main phase can result in a large pinning field(self-pinning), which has the attributes of both traditional nucleation and pinning.Such a pinning explains the experimental data of permanent magnets very well, including the enhancement of the coercivity by the grain boundary pinning.  相似文献

The possibility of producing polarized molecules of hydrogen isotopes by their spin separation in the inhomogeneous field of superconducting magnets has been demonstrated. This method proposed in our previous works has been implemented with a source of polarized atoms developed at the Budker Institute for Nuclear Physics. The measured flux of polarized molecules is compared with the simulation results. The possibility of developing a more intense source of polarized molecules is discussed.  相似文献

The effect of Tb on the coercivity and impact toughness of sintered Nd–Dy–Fe–B magnets has been investigated. The results showed that the addition of Tb enhanced the intrinsic coercivity, reduced the remanence and improved the impact toughness of sintered magnets. The optimum impact toughness of sintered magnets was achieved when 1.0 at% Tb was incorporated. The possible reasons for increasing the intrinsic coercivity and improving impact toughness of sintered magnets were analyzed, and the relations between the microstructure and impact toughness of sintered magnets were studied.  相似文献
