研究了双环掺铒光纤激光器混沌控制产生周期脉冲以及多周期现象,并提出了光调制器调制泵浦控制、外部光注入控制、光衰减器控制、光延时时间控制器控制以及相位控制器控制和连续键控反馈光等多种双环掺铒光纤激光器的混沌控制方法.结果表明:用光调制器调制泵浦光能控制激光到周期态及多周期态;用外部光注入能控制激光到单周期态、双周期态、三周期态、四周期态、五周期态以及多种高周期态等,能形成多种形式相空间图样,产生双环掺铒光纤激光器独特的激光单锁模拟和双锁模拟现象;用外部光路反馈控制时,在负反馈条件下,用时间控制器控制反馈光的延时时间能控制激光到不同的周期态和双周期态,用光衰减器控制光的强度能控制激光到稳定态及周期态,用相位调制器控制反馈光的相位进行负反馈和正反馈转换时能有效地控制激光进入到稳定态及周期态;连续键控反馈光相位能控制激光到多周期态等.整个控制系统能动态、有效地控制产生周期光脉冲以及多种新颖的多周期态等.  相似文献

利用光纤环长外腔光反馈半导体激光器产生了频谱平坦的宽带混沌激光,其对应的激光频谱可有效地隐藏外腔的谐振频率,增加了系统的保密性.通过单向耦合方式,将产生的混沌激光注入到另一个参数相近的半导体激光器中,实现了平坦宽带混沌同步输出,两同步激光器输出的相关系数达到084.同时实验研究了注入强度和主从激光器的频率失谐对同步质量的影响,结果表明在强光注入锁定下,在很大频率失谐范围内均可实现同步,而且注入强度越大,主从激光器输出的相关系数越大,维持混沌同步所允许的频率失谐范围越大. 关键词: 混沌同步 单向光纤环 光反馈 半导体激光器  相似文献

Two chaos generation schemes are demonstrated numerically based on a semiconductor ring laser (SRL) with either a constant or a chaotic optical injection from an external distributed feedback (DFB) laser. Under a certain bias current, the chaotic output can be generated by the SRL with appropriate injection parameters. Parameter map is achieved numerically to show types of oscillation in the SRL. Bifurcation diagrams and Lyapunov exponent spectra roughly describe the routes to chaos for the SRL with disturbance. A bandwidth-enhanced chaos generation can be describes based on the chaotic optical injection scheme. The bandwidth of the bandwidth-enhanced chaos generated is about 12 GHz, which achieves approximately a two-fold increase compared with the constant injection scheme.  相似文献

提出了一种由一个分布式反馈激光器为主激光器和一个半导体环形激光器为从激光器组成的主从式激光混沌系统方案,主激光器产生的光单向注入到从激光器中,通过调整注入系数、主从激光器的失谐频率和从激光器的偏置电流,使从激光器工作在混沌状态,输出混沌信号。从基于光注入条件下的环形激光器的速率方程组入手,数值模拟了主从激光器的失谐频率、注入系数和从激光器的偏置电流3个工作参量对从激光器输出动态的影响。研究表明:外光注入条件下,半导体环形激光器可以产生混沌信号。通过分析得出:当失谐频率为3.9 GHz、注入系数为0.07、偏置电流为81 mA时,环形激光器可以产生功率谱平坦、带宽较宽的高质量混沌信号。  相似文献

The dynamical behaviour of the erbium-doped fibre single-ring laser with an optical delay feedback is discussed. Simulation shows that as the delay rate increases, the lasing light displays period-doubling which leads to chaos and via reverse period-doubling route returns from chaos to periodic. At a particular delay rate the intermittently chaotic route to chaos is also observed. The identical synchronization based on chaos in this ring laser is demonstrated by numerical simulation.  相似文献

光反馈半导体激光器产生的高维宽带混沌载波,应用于光混沌通信系统中.主器的外腔长度用作混沌保密通信的附加密钥.本文实验研究了光反馈混沌半导体激光器外腔长度密钥的识别.通过对长腔光反馈产生的混沌频谱进行局部放大,分析其精细结构,结果表明:无论是单反馈半导体激光器还是有不同外腔长度比的双反馈半导体激光器,都可以利用频谱仪直接提取出激光器的外腔长度信息.  相似文献

提出了外腔延时反馈半导体激光器法拉第效应控制下的新激光系统, 构造出两种类型结构光路, 建立了法拉第效应控制下的延时负反馈、延时正反馈激光动力学物理模型, 研究了激光混沌控制与反控制等. 利用法拉第效应原理及磁致旋光性和系统特点, 调节控制光路中的光旋转角度和光延时间可实现双参数控制激光器, 控制激光到双周期、三周期及多周期, 使激光产生拍动等现象, 反控制激光周期到混沌等. 发现了以磁致旋光角分布的激光混沌控制与反控制区域. 并研究了激光混沌控制与周期控制的动态情况, 演示讨论了激光态的转化演变过程等.  相似文献

根据延迟光反馈垂直腔面发射半导体激光器动力学模型,数值模拟了激光器的混沌动力学特性,分析了外腔长度和光反馈强度对激光器混沌动力学特性的影响.结果表明:外腔较短的激光器,经过混沌区后仍会回到锁频状态|外腔较长的激光器,经过混沌区后不是进入锁频状态而是回到周期1.取定激光器外腔长度为3.0 cm,使反馈强度由小增大,得到激光器由倍周期分岔进入混沌的过程,并在混沌区中出现周期12窗口.本文对混沌保密通信的实际应用具有一定的理论参考价值.  相似文献

We theoretically model the dynamics of semiconductor lasers subject to the double-reflector feedback. The proposed model is a new modification of the time-delay rate equations of semiconductor lasers under the optical feedback to account for this type of the double-reflector feedback. We examine the influence of adding the second reflector to dynamical states induced by the single-reflector feedback: periodic oscillations, period doubling, and chaos. Regimes of both short and long external cavities are considered. The present analyses are done using the bifurcation diagram, temporal trajectory, phase portrait, and fast Fourier transform of the laser intensity. We show that adding the second reflector attracts the periodic and perioddoubling oscillations, and chaos induced by the first reflector to a route-to-continuous-wave operation. During this operation, the periodic-oscillation frequency increases with strengthening the optical feedback. We show that the chaos induced by the double-reflector feedback is more irregular than that induced by the single-reflector feedback. The power spectrum of this chaos state does not reflect information on the geometry of the optical system, which then has potential for use in chaotic (secure) optical data encryption.  相似文献

We show how a chaotic system can be locked to emit a periodic waveform belonging to its chaotic attractor. We numerically demonstrate our idea in a system composed of a semiconductor laser driven to chaos by optical feedback from an external cavity. The clue is the injection of an appropriate periodic signal that modulates the phase and amplitude of the intra-cavity radiation, a chaotic analogy of conventional mode-locking. The result is a time process that manifests a chaotic signature embedded in a long-scale periodic train.  相似文献

利用双光反馈半导体激光器作为混沌发射源, 构建了一个单向开环混沌通信系统, 并对系统的通信性能进行了相关仿真研究. 研究表明: 通过合理选取系统参量, 双光反馈半导体激光器所产生的混沌载波能很好地抑制外腔延时特征; 发射激光器和接收激光器在强注入锁定下能实现很好的混沌同步, 并且同步性能对频率失谐具有很好的容忍性; 采用附加混沌调制加密方式, 500 Mbits/s的信号能够很好地隐藏于混沌载波中, 并可在接收端成功解调. 关键词: 半导体激光器 单向耦合 混沌通信  相似文献

Numerical analysis of weak optical positive feedback (OPF) controlling chaos is studied in a semiconductor laser.The physical model of controlling chaos produced via modulating the current of semiconductor laser is presented under the condition of OPF.We find the physical mechanism that the nonlinear gain coefficient and linewidth enhancement factor of the laser are affected by OPF so that the dynamical behaviour of the system can be efficiently controlled.Chaos is controlled into a single-periodic state,a dual-periodic state,a fri-periodic state,a quadr-periodic state,a pentaperiodic state,and the laser emitting powers are increased by OPF in simulations.Lastly,another chaos-control method with modulating the amplitude of the feedback light is presented and numerically simulated to control chaotic laser into multi-periodic states.  相似文献

Frequency locking (FL) in a semiconductor laser with double incoherent optical feedback is experimentally studied, and the characteristics of the locking states are analyzed through comparing the RF spectrum of double incoherent optical feedback and single incoherent optical feedback. Moreover, by varying the external loops length ratio, different orders of frequency locking states are observed. The influence of feedback strength and cavity length on locking performance is preliminarily investigated and the optimized FL state is obtained. This experimental investigation may offer a method to obtain frequency spacing tunable discrete broad-band signals.  相似文献

提出外腔延时反馈半导体激光器混沌偏振可调控制方法,分别建立了垂直正交偏振延时双反馈、同偏振面方向延时双反馈以及任意可调偏振延时双反馈激光动力学物理模型. 通过调节激光器外腔光路中的平面镜和光衰减器可控制一平面偏振反馈光的延时时间及光反馈量,或调节一偏振反馈光的偏振面到另一个偏振反馈光的偏振面方向上或者到任意偏振方向都可进行激光混沌控制. 数值结果证明该方法可以控制激光混沌到单周期态、多周期态等,还发现该控制可使激光器同时呈现偏振周期振荡、偏振反周期振荡、稳定三种动力学行为等. 关键词: 混沌 控制 激光器 偏振  相似文献

Bandwidth-enhanced chaos synchronization in strongly injection-locked semiconductor lasers with optical feedback is numerically studied based on laser rate equations. The bandwidth of the chaotic carrier frequency in a semiconductor laser with optical feedback is expanded roughly three times by strong optical injection compared with the bandwidth when there is no optical injection. Using a bandwidth-enhanced semiconductor laser as a chaotic transmitter and receiver, we synchronized transmitter and the receiver lasers in a complete chaos synchronization scheme.  相似文献

Chaotic dynamics of a semiconductor laser subject to incoherent optical feedback (IOF) are experimentally investigated, and the external cavity time are retrieved and measured from intensity time series of the laser output by using self-correlation function and the mutual information. Through moderating feedback strength and injection current of the laser, the external cavity time signature of the laser chaotic output is effectively attenuated, and then the security of such chaos encryption system can be assured to a certain degree.  相似文献

We experimentally generate high dimension chaotic waveforms with smooth spectrum using a distributed feedback (DFB) semiconductor laser with unidirectional fibre ring long-cavity feedback, and implement the stable chaos synchronization when the chaotic light is injected into a solitary DFB laser diode. The synchronization quality is investigated by time-domain and frequency-domain analysis separately, The frequency-domain analysis indicates that the synchronization has higher quality in the high frequency band. The influences of the injection strength and the frequency detuning on the synchronization are measured. Our experimental results show that the robust synchronization can be maintained with the optical frequency detuning from -11GHz to 40 GHz.  相似文献

实验利用双反馈半导体激光器获得了关联维数为3.8的高维混沌光.同时对比分析了双反馈与单反馈两种不同模式产生混沌的区别.结果表明:在反馈强度均为-26 dB时,双反馈产生混沌的关联维数高于单反馈产生混沌的关联维数2.6;双反馈可获得带宽为11 GHz的混沌光,为单反馈产生混沌带宽5.5 GHz的两倍.当双反馈的两个外腔长度不相等时,混沌的自相关曲线能很好的隐藏外腔长度信息,可提高混沌通信的保密性. 关键词: 双反馈 半导体激光器 混沌 带宽  相似文献

We experimentally obtain the route from period doubling to chaos in an active optical fiber ring resonator (AOFRR) with optical injection. The results show that the AOFRR is sensitive to external optical injection and demonstrate various dynamic characteristics. Meanwhile, the change of the injection strength can cause the output of the AOFRR to become periodic or chaotic. It can be confirmed that all the dynamic characteristics of the system are due to the interaction of the semiconductor laser with the erbium-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA).  相似文献

外腔延时特征和带宽是影响混沌激光应用的两个重要参量.本文将一个单路光反馈的半导体激光器输出的激光部分地注入到另一个双路滤波光反馈的半导体激光器中,从而构成一个具有外光注入的双路滤波光反馈半导体激光器系统,即主从激光器系统,用于抑制混沌激光的延时特征并研究其带宽.数值研究了外光注入系数、反馈强度、抽运因子和滤波器带宽对系统输出混沌激光的延时特征的影响,然后将该系统对延时特征的抑制效果和具有外光注入的单路光反馈半导体激光器系统、具有外光注入的双路光反馈半导体激光器系统、具有外光注入的单路滤波光反馈半导体激光器系统以及无光注入双路滤波光反馈半导体激光器系统进行对比和分析,结果表明本文提出的方案对延时特征的抑制效果最好.然后在本文提出的具有外光注入的双路滤波光反馈半导体激光器系统中,延时特征被有效抑制的参数条件下研究系统输出混沌激光的带宽,结果表明,通过适当选择参数的取值,本文提出的方案可以提高系统输出混沌激光的带宽.  相似文献
