利用双光反馈半导体激光器作为混沌发射源, 构建了一个单向开环混沌通信系统, 并对系统的通信性能进行了相关仿真研究. 研究表明: 通过合理选取系统参量, 双光反馈半导体激光器所产生的混沌载波能很好地抑制外腔延时特征; 发射激光器和接收激光器在强注入锁定下能实现很好的混沌同步, 并且同步性能对频率失谐具有很好的容忍性; 采用附加混沌调制加密方式, 500 Mbits/s的信号能够很好地隐藏于混沌载波中, 并可在接收端成功解调. 关键词: 半导体激光器 单向耦合 混沌通信  相似文献

外腔延时特征和带宽是影响混沌激光应用的两个重要参量.本文将一个单路光反馈的半导体激光器输出的激光部分地注入到另一个双路滤波光反馈的半导体激光器中,从而构成一个具有外光注入的双路滤波光反馈半导体激光器系统,即主从激光器系统,用于抑制混沌激光的延时特征并研究其带宽.数值研究了外光注入系数、反馈强度、抽运因子和滤波器带宽对系统输出混沌激光的延时特征的影响,然后将该系统对延时特征的抑制效果和具有外光注入的单路光反馈半导体激光器系统、具有外光注入的双路光反馈半导体激光器系统、具有外光注入的单路滤波光反馈半导体激光器系统以及无光注入双路滤波光反馈半导体激光器系统进行对比和分析,结果表明本文提出的方案对延时特征的抑制效果最好.然后在本文提出的具有外光注入的双路滤波光反馈半导体激光器系统中,延时特征被有效抑制的参数条件下研究系统输出混沌激光的带宽,结果表明,通过适当选择参数的取值,本文提出的方案可以提高系统输出混沌激光的带宽.  相似文献

通过在互耦合外腔半导体激光器之间增加中继激光器,建立了一种链式互耦合半导体激光器混沌同步系统模型.理论分析了系统的实时混沌同步条件,数值研究了注入电流、互耦合条件、反馈条件等对系统实时混沌同步品质的影响,揭示了同步质量在反馈强度和互耦合强度二维参数空间的分布规律.结果表明:注入电流较大时,满足互耦合强度和反馈强度相同,互耦合延时和反馈延时相等,系统中所有激光器之间可同时实现稳定高品质实时混沌同步;中心激光器和边激光器之间的稳定实时混沌同步分布在在互耦合强度和反馈强度较小的区域以及互耦合强度和反馈强度相近的区域;边激光器之间由于同时接收到中心激光器实施的相同注入,能够较容易的实现稳定高品质的实时混沌同步.该系统可进一步扩展成为实现远距离的双向实时混沌同步或阵列激光器系统的实时混沌同步.  相似文献

外光反馈下的半导体激光器可视为混沌载波发射机.数值研究发现,外部强光注入可以显著提高混沌载波发射机的带宽,带宽提高的程度在一定范围内与注入光的强度成正比.当外部光注入系数kinj=0.39时,混沌载波的带宽由无光注入时的2.7GHz增大到14.5GHz,提高了5倍多.研究还发现,在相同的注入强度条件下,当注入光的频率比半导体激光器的中心频率高2—4GHz时,可实现最大限度的带宽增强.此外,适当提高半导体激光器的偏置电流也可以在一定程度上提高其产生的混沌载波的带宽. 关键词: 半导体激光器 混沌 带宽  相似文献

利用光纤环长外腔光反馈半导体激光器产生了频谱平坦的宽带混沌激光,其对应的激光频谱可有效地隐藏外腔的谐振频率,增加了系统的保密性.通过单向耦合方式,将产生的混沌激光注入到另一个参数相近的半导体激光器中,实现了平坦宽带混沌同步输出,两同步激光器输出的相关系数达到084.同时实验研究了注入强度和主从激光器的频率失谐对同步质量的影响,结果表明在强光注入锁定下,在很大频率失谐范围内均可实现同步,而且注入强度越大,主从激光器输出的相关系数越大,维持混沌同步所允许的频率失谐范围越大. 关键词: 混沌同步 单向光纤环 光反馈 半导体激光器  相似文献

Chaos data analysis has been performed on the chaotic output power time series data from a synchronized transmitter-receiver pair of semiconductor lasers. The system uses an asymmetric, bidirectional coupling configuration between the master (transmitter), which is a laser diode with optical feedback, and a stand-alone slave semiconductor laser. The correlation dimension of the chaotic time series has a minimum value of 4, which was obtained from high-bandwidth measurements. The correlation dimensions for both the master and the synchronized slave are identical when the cross-correlation coefficient of the synchronized chaos is above 0.9. These results establish correlation dimension analysis as an effective tool for the determination of the quality of wideband chaos synchronization.  相似文献

提出混沌通信中继器设想,建立半导体激光器激光混沌全光中继器物理模型,理论证明了激光混沌中继器系统的同步.数值实现了发射系统、中继器系统、接收系统的混沌同步,分析了系统反馈系数和同步误差以及同步时间的关系.模拟了中继器系统在激光混沌保密通信中的应用,分别给出了具有正弦信号调制频率0.2GHz和数字信号0.2Gb/s速率的混沌通信以及同步误差分析,表明混沌中继器系统确能改善和提高激光混沌通信的解码质量.分析了中继器系统的带宽和20Gb/s高速率数字信号混沌通信以及同步误差,给出了具有正弦信号调制频率0.1—2 关键词: 混沌 同步 激光器 中继器  相似文献

Sinusoidal message transmission up to 1.5 GHz is performed based on synchronization of chaos in experimental nonlinear systems of semiconductor lasers with optical feedback. We demonstrate experimental chaos synchronization between two chaotic semiconductor lasers subjected to polarization-rotated optical feedback and unidirectional injection. This system allows high-quality synchronization to be obtained between dissimilar lasers in a wide range of chaotic operating regimes. Another feature of this system is its operation at high characteristic frequencies, taking advantage of all-optical implementation. Time series and RF spectra showing synchronization are confirmed by high correlation coefficients in excess of 0.85.  相似文献

Experimental observation of both anticipated and retarded synchronization is demonstrated using unidirectionally coupled semiconductor lasers with delayed optoelectronic feedback. Depending on the difference between the transmission time and the feedback delay time, the lasers fall into either the anticipated or the retarded synchronization regime, where the driven receiver laser leads or lags behind the driving transmitter laser. The two regimes are observed to have the same stability of chaos synchronization in the presence of small perturbations by noise and parameter mismatches. In both regimes the observed time shift between the synchronized chaotic waveforms is found to be equal to the difference between the transmission time and the feedback delay time.  相似文献

Semiconductor laser with feedback is an excellent model for nonlinear optical system which shows chaotic dynamics. It is interesting not only from the fundamental physical study but also application standpoints of view. The dynamics of feedback induced instability and chaos, especially for optical feedback, and their applications are reviewed in this paper. The model of such a system is described by the laser rate equations. At first the dynamic behaviors of feedback induced instability and chaos in semiconductor lasers are discussed on the basis of the theory and experiments. Instability and chaos may be stabilized by the method of chaos control. Then we apply the method to suppress the noise induced by the feedback in a semiconductor laser. The synchronization of chaos between two similar systems is also an important issue in chaos applications and we discuss secure communications based on chaos synchronization. Some other examples of applications of feedback induced chaos are also described.  相似文献

A smart scheme for chaotic signal generation in a semiconductor ring laser (SRL) with optical feedback is proposed and investigated numerically. The chaotic oscillation in the SRL can be generated by the partial reflection of the laser output. Time series, attracter and the power spectrum, as well as the Lyapunov exponent spectrum, are calculated and analyzed. We also study the synchronization scheme of feedback-induced chaos in SRLs by optical injection that consists of a drive SRL with optical feedback and a response SRL with optical injection from the drive laser. High-quality synchronization is achieved with suitable injection strength and detuning frequency between the drive and the response SRLs.  相似文献

本文对非相干光反馈与非相干光注入激光混沌同步保密通信系统进行了理论仿真研究.本系统为Pecora-Carroll混沌同步系统,基于Lang-Kobayashi速率方程,建立了发送激光器和接收激光器的理论模型.利用该模型分析了同步建立时间、同步误差,混沌键控编码/解码以及调制速率等特性.仿真结果表明系统具有很好的同步性能和保密性,混沌同步时间约为1 ns,混沌键控编码速率可达1 Gbit/s.研究结果对非相干光反馈与非相干光注入激光混沌同步保密通信系统的设计具有重要参考价值.  相似文献

We numerically investigate the synchronization performance of unidirectionally and bidirectionally coupled chaotic semiconductor lasers subject to multiple modulated time delays optical feedbacks. Moreover, by studying the autocorrelation function of the coherent feedback semiconductor laser output, we find that the signatures of time delays can be erased in systems incorporating modulated feedback time delays, which largely improve the system security. Finally, chaos masking switching (CMS) is utilized to examine the communication ability. Numerical results indicate that the messages could be successfully recovered both in unidirectionally and bidirectionally coupled lasers, which confirms the possibility of applying multiple modulated delay system in optical chaos secure communication.  相似文献

It is shown that identical synchronization of two chaotic semiconductor lasers can be achieved by injection of a common optical signal with randomly varying phase. An optical signal with randomly modulated phase is injected into two semiconductor lasers which have chaotic oscillations due to optical feedback. Strong correlation between complex intensity oscillations of the two lasers is observed even though the intensity of the common injection signal is constant. Characteristic properties of this type of synchronization are shown, in particular, the dependence of the synchronization threshold on the injection strength and the rate of phase modulation, and the dependence of the intensity correlation on the difference in phase of optical feedback.  相似文献

The message filtering characteristics of the receiver in closed-loop chaotic optical communication system are numerically studied based on laser rate equations. A pair of external cavity semiconductor lasers was employed as the chaotic carrier transmitter and the synchronized chaos receiver. We examined the filtering properties of the semiconductor laser receiver for message encoded with chaos masking. Our results demonstrate that, the lower the message frequency, the more easily the receiver filters out the message from chaotic carrier. We also analyzed the effects of each parameter mismatches between the transmitter and the receiver on the quality of the recovered message. Comparing the synchronization quality with the signal-to-noise ratio affected by parameter mismatches, we find that the quality of the recovered message depends not only on the synchronization quality but also on the filtering characteristics of the receiver. The filtering characteristics of receiver will be playing an important role on the quality of the recovered message in the case of large mismatches.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel chaotic relay system, based on cascaded synchronization in optoelectronic negative feedback chaotic semiconductor lasers, is presented. Synchronization characteristics and the influence of parameter mismatches on synchronization performances are investigated. The results show that the complete synchronization can be achieved under suitable system parameters; internal parameter mismatches of the lasers have influence on synchronization quality, but the system possesses more robustness to parameter mismatches compared with cascaded synchronization based on coherent optical feedback. Moreover, communication related issues are also investigated. Under the additive chaos modulation (ACM) encryption scheme, encoded messages can be successfully extracted at both mediator laser (ML) and receiver laser (RL) parts; parameter mismatches of the lasers will affect messages decoding, but the influence is not strong.  相似文献

数值研究了基于半导体激光器的混沌通信系统中构成混沌同步的接收半导体激光器对高频信号的滤波特性.分析了闭环结构的接收机对不同频率、不同幅度的加载信号的提取能力.研究发现,混沌保密通信系统对传输信号的提取能力与信号的频率有关.当信号频率较低时,闭环结构的接收机对信号的滤波效果较好;当信号频率接近半导体激光器的弛豫振荡频率时,接收机的滤波效果较差.分析结果同时表明,混沌保密通信系统中接收机对传输信号的提取质量不仅与实现混沌同步的两激光器的同步质量有关,而且依赖于传输信号的幅度. 关键词: 混沌 混沌同步 半导体激光器 滤波  相似文献
