In this paper, a line-laser-based yarn break sensor is proposed. In the proposed sensor, yarns are illuminated by a line laser placed on one side of the yarn plane. A screen is placed on the other side and the image formed on the screen is detected by a camera. The total number of yarns is compared with the total number of shadows formed by the yarns or the total number of light spots formed due to the distances between yarns. If the total number of yarns to be detected is greater than the total number of shadows or light spots formed due to the distances between the yarns, the sensor warns of breaking. In the proposed method, evaluation is made using only light spots or shadows formed by the yarns. Consequently, the yarn type, structure, color, or dimensions do not affect the results.Design principles of the line-laser-based yarn break sensor, which consists of a screen and a Charged Coupled Device (CCD) camera, are presented. The screen displays the shadows formed by the yarns and the light spots formed due to the distances between them. The CCD camera detects the image on the screen. Formation of the shadows by the yarns is explained and an analytical formula that expresses the dimensions of the shadows is obtained. The detection area of the sensor is expressed relative to the total number of yarns, yarn thickness, and distances between the yarns. Line laser radiation angle and light spot intensity equations are obtained relative to the width of the detection area and the height of the line laser placement. The screen length is obtained relative to the number of yarns and the placement of the laser, the yarn plane, and the screen.Different placement situations of the line laser (transmitter), the screen, and the CCD camera (receiver) relative to the yarn plane are discussed. An experimental setup is developed to test the system. The image formed on the screen is studied.  相似文献

A laser dazzling experiment is performed on a linear CCD camera, in which a new dazzling phenomenon is found. It is that a laser beam has caused three spots in the output video of the CCD. The three spots lie in the line along which the linear camera is scanning. The middle spot is the image of laser beam that can be anticipated, but the two sideward spots is a new phenomenon that hasn’t reported in other open literatures. We testify that it isn’t laser high-order mode, diffraction and multiple reflections in the optical path outside the camera that cause the three spots. In the process that linear CCD camera scans the laser beam, the multiple reflections between the lens and CCD image sensor are analyzed. The results indicate that multiple reflections inside the camera can induce the sideward spots. Three basic factors that caused sideward spots have been summed up as follows: the scanning mode of the linear camera, the high brightness of laser, and structure of lens and CCD image sensor.  相似文献

We have developed a novel laser ray-tracing method to measure aberrations in optical systems. It consists of delivering narrow laser pencils (by a laser scanner), recording the spots that are formed on the image plane (with a CCD camera), and computing the position of each centroid. This approach could be considered an experimental (approximate) implementation of standard numerical ray tracing. Several tests and experiments, including a direct comparison with a Hartmann-Shack wave-front sensor, provided highly satisfactory results that confirmed the validity of the method and revealed potential advantages.  相似文献

We present a measurement technique that is capable of simultaneously determining sizes and positions of multiple transparent droplets in a plane from scattered light features. The technique is largely independent of particle intensity and mutual obscuration. Reflected and refracted light from the droplets in a pulsed laser sheet is recorded holographically to yield the smallest possible probe volume and the largest possible number density. Larger droplets are best analyzed at the image plane; in this case, the droplets appear as two spots (glare points), whose separation is proportional to the droplet diameter. Smaller droplets are easier to analyze at an out‐of‐focus plane, where their images appear as fringe patterns whose spatial frequency is related to droplet size. Photographic techniques allow only one of these planes to be chosen and are therefore not suitable for multidisperse sprays. Optical holography allows to analyze arbitrary depths, but often suffers from low sensitivity and long analysis times. With digital holography, the spray images are captured digitally by a CCD camera and reconstructed numerically; as in optical holography, the particle reconstruction plane can be freely chosen a posteriori to optimize the measurement. We discuss the issues raised by the transition from holographic film to a CCD sensor as the recording medium, and demonstrate the capabilities of the digital technique.  相似文献

We present a method for measurement of thickness of transparent oil film on water surface based on laser trigonometry. With an oblique incident mode of single-point laser triangulation ranging system, laser light is incident on the upper and lower surfaces of the oil film being measured and an ellipse light spot is formed on the upper and lower surfaces of the oil film. The two light spots are imaged on an image plane CCD by an imaging lens and the image spot is formed and stored in a computer. The thickness of oil film being measured can be obtained by displacement of the image spot and the configuration parameter of the imaging system. The experiment is conducted using edible peanut oil and diesel oil. The research results show that the method presented in this paper is feasible and applicable to dynamic on-line measurement of oil film thickness of oil spill on sea surface.  相似文献

In the paper machine vision, laser interferometer and coordinate measuring machine (CMM) are combined to develop a vision inspection system. The measurement capability of the developed system is investigated by measuring the distances between the lines on a standard line scale. The vision camera is used to replace the probe of the CMM to take the images of the interested lines on a line scale at two different positions. Meanwhile, the displacement of the CCD camera is measured using laser interferometer. Using subpixel edge localization and outlier-excluding least-squares regression, the distance between two interested lines is computed under an image plane coordinate system. By adding the displacement of the CCD camera measured using laser interferometer, the line space can be determined. Experiments have been performed repeatedly to measure the line space on the 1.00 and 300.0 mm line scales. Results indicate that the measured data only have a little fluctuation and are close to those obtained by the NML (National Measurement Laboratory, Taiwan).  相似文献

A wavefront sensor-less adaptive optical system has been set up. It consists of a deformable mirror, a high-voltage amplifier, a set of solid-state laser system, a CCD camera, control software and a genetic algorithm. This adaptive optical system does not employ a wavefront sensor to detect the wavefront information, but optimizes the light intensity within a fixed aperture in the focal plane by a 19-element piezoelectricity deformable mirror. A genetic algorithm is introduced to search the optimum surface profile of the deformable mirror for correcting the phase aberrations in a solid-state laser system. The far-field light intensity signal, which is measured by a CCD, is taken as the fitness function of the genetic algorithm. In this paper, the performance and the efficiency of this wavefront sensor-less adaptive optical system are presented. A laser-based technique for measuring instantaneous three-dimensional species concentration distributions in turbulent flows is presented. The laser beam from a single laser is formed into two crossed light sheets that illuminate the area of interest. The laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) signal emitted from excited species within both planes is detected with a single camera via a mirror arrangement. Image processing enables the reconstruction of the three-dimensional data set in close proximity to the cutting line of the two light sheets. Three-dimensional intensity gradients are computed and compared to the two-dimensional projections obtained from the two directly observed planes. Volume visualization by digital image processing gives unique insight into the three-dimensional structures within the turbulent processes. We apply this technique to measurements of toluene-LIF in a turbulent, non-reactive mixing process of toluene and air and to hydroxyl (OH) LIF in a turbulent methane-air flame upon excitation at 248 nm with a tunable KrF excimer laser. In this study, a novel approach to a measuring methodology and calibration method for an optical non-contact scanning probe system is proposed and verified by experiments. The optical probe consists of a line laser diode and two charge-coupled device (CCD) cameras and is placed on a computer numerical control (CNC) machine to measure the workpiece profiles. A space mapping method using the least-squares algorithm is presented for the probe calibration and profile measurement. This method provides a simple and accurate calculation of the relationship between the real space plane and its related image space plane in a CCD camera. A transparent grid with regularly spaced nodal points is used to construct the space mapping function. The space coordinate of an object can be obtained from its image in the CCD camera via the mapping function. The measured profile data are smoothed by the B-spline blending function and can be transferred to a CAD/CAM package for industrial applications. Experimental results show that this technique can determine the 3-D profile of an object with an accuracy of 60 μm.  相似文献

In consideration of the complexity and the high cost of the dual CCD intersection vertical target when it is used indoor. A novel measuring principle of one linear array CCD camera vertical target is presented. One low-power semiconductor sector-like laser with projection board is used to be the lamp-house of the CCD camera. The detection light screen of the CCD camera and the laser lamp-house are adjusted to same plane. When the projectile through the detection light screen, it blocks the part light of the laser and leaves a shadow of projectile on the board. The shadow and its coordinate are acquired and calculated by the CCD camera and computer, and the projectile coordinate of X and Y can be gotten through image processing and further calculation. The measuring principle and the formulas are given, and the measuring error is analyzed. The result indicates that the coordinate error of X and Y less than 1.5 and 2.2 mm, respectively, when the detection light screens is 1 m × 1 m, The principle presented has the advantages that measurement principle is simple, low cost and easy engineering.  相似文献

本文首先介绍了根据激光三角测距原理并采用片光照明、面阵CCD接收的三维面形检测原理,其优点在于物面相对于测量头仅需一个方向移动即可完成二维扫描,使测量系统结构简单、便于控制。其次分析了影响其测量精度的几个主要因素,即散斑噪声、接收器件本身的分辨率、投影片光束的宽度与稳定性。散斑噪声造成了投影光斑的抖动,CCD的分辨率限制了测量系统的分辨率,而片光束的质量影响着CCD光敏面上像斑的准确定位。针对其各自的特点给出了相应的解决途径。  相似文献

A laser-based method for measuring the three components of the velocity in a plane simultaneously and instantaneously without seed particles is presented. This is achieved by combining a laser flow-tagging technique with stereoscopic detection, in which the tagged flow is viewed from two different directions. A single CCD camera is employed for this purpose by using a new optical detection system. The flow tagging is performed by two consecutive laser pulses, i.e., “write” and “read” laser pulses. The write laser creates a grid of tracer molecules (NO) by inducing a photodissociation process. The three-dimensional motion of the tracer molecules is measured by a thick read laser sheet. 针对传统线结构光光刀平面标定方法测量精度不高,应用范围小的问题,提出基于平面标靶的线结构光系统光刀平面标定,对无激光的标靶图片进行迭代摄像机标定,有激光的标靶图片进行光刀平面标定.提出光强符合均匀分布的平顶激光检测中心算法,将平顶激光建模为矩形的台阶函数,估计背景亮度和前景亮度,确定亮条纹宽度,再将窗口内的有效像素参与重心计算,得到光条纹中心.用该算法对不同噪声及不同量块的图片进行处理,结果表明,处理后图像的均方根误差分别在0.149pixel和0.176pixel内,表明该算法抗噪声能力强、精度高.用该算法提取光条中心,计算光条在标靶上的位置,根据至少两个姿态下的光条中心三维点,基于最小二乘法拟合光刀平面.通过迭代摄像机标定和光刀平面标定,利用三角测量法,在立体视觉模型下获取物体的三维点云数据.实验测量两个距离为100.5mm的标准球,相机与标准球距离为500mm,比较两球心距离与标准距离,测得平均误差为0.236mm.表明平顶激光检测中心算法切实可行,光刀平面标定方法基本满足要求.  相似文献

The morphology of structural changes in KTP crystal induced by single femtosecond laser pulse has been investigated by means of CCD camera, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atom force microscopy (AFM). The structurally changed region is depressed at energies close to the threshold for producing a structural change and melting ablation morphologies are observed as pulse energy is increased. 在激光辐照行间转移CCD相机的实验中发现了关于CCD串扰效应的一个新现象,即在串扰线上出现缺口,该缺口紧邻主光斑上侧且随光强增大而减小。基于行间转移面阵CCD的构造和工作过程,利用CCD串扰效应的一种新机制对现象作出了合理的解释。串扰线的形成依赖于在垂直转移动作过程中CCD信号积分势阱中的载流子向垂直转移CCD寄存器中的溢出。串扰线上缺口的出现则是由于CCD的信号积分势阱被读出转移动作清空后再次填满需要经过一定时间,该时间内无信号电荷溢出至转移沟道;读出转移清空存储势阱的时刻是构成主光斑的主体信号电荷按正常时序进入垂直转移CCD寄存器的时刻,故缺口紧邻主光斑的上侧;光强越大,光电子再次填满存储势阱乃至溢出形成串扰线所需要的时间越短,则缺口越小。  相似文献
