部分偏振部分相干光光栅衍射场的偏振特性和角相关研究 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
为了研究部分偏振部分相干光光栅衍射场的衍射特性.利用部分偏振部分相干光的光束相干-偏振(BCP)矩阵,推导出了部分偏振部分相干光通过任意偏振光栅后,衍射场的偏振度及场中衍射级次角相关的一般解析表达式.以部分偏振的高斯-谢尔模型光束(PGSM)为例,数值分析了偏振光栅TE和TM波的复振幅透过率、入射光束的光学参量对衍射场偏振度和场中各衍射级次的角相关的影响.计算结果表明,部分相干光透过偏振光栅后的其衍射光场是一非均匀、周期变化的部分偏振相干光场;场中对称级次的角相干值对应相等,且随衍射级次序数的增大而缓慢递减至零. 相似文献

基于德拜矢量积分理论,研究了随机电磁涡旋光束经过大数值孔径透镜之后的聚焦特性及透镜的数值孔径、入射光束的偏振度、拓扑荷以及横向相干长度对焦平面附近聚焦光束的光强分布和相干度的影响.结果表明:适当地选择相关参量,可在焦平面上得到椭圆形光斑的光强分布以及平顶光强分布.随机电磁涡旋光束在焦平面上同一点处两个相互垂直分量之间的相干度,不同两点处两个相同分量之间的相干度以及不同两点处两个相互垂直分量之间的相干度研究表明,入射光束的拓扑荷和横向相干长度对聚焦光束的相干性有着十分明显的影响. 相似文献

研究了部分相干圆偏振贝塞耳一高斯光束经高数值孑L径透镜的聚焦特性.基于德拜矢量积分理论,分别推导出了部分相十圆偏振涡旋光束经过高数值孔径透镜聚焦以后的光强和偏振度表达式.根据数值模拟的结果,比较了左旋和右旋圆偏振涡旋光束的不同深聚焦特性以及相关参量对涡旋光束深聚焦特性的影响.研究表明,入射光束的相关参数和聚焦透镜的数值孔径大小都会影响光束的聚焦特性.此外,还得出一个重要结论,部分相于圆偏振涡旋光束经高数值孔径透镜聚焦以后.光束本身带有的白旋角动晕会转化成轨道角动量,这一研究成果对于利用涡旋光束进行微粒操控等方面应用具有十分重要的意义. 相似文献

涡旋光束具有螺旋波前、携带相位奇点和轨道角动量等物理特性,在粒子操控、量子信息、超分辨成像、光通信等领域具有重要的应用,并已成为学术界的研究热点。得益于相干光学理论的快速发展,将相干性作为新的自由度引入涡旋光束中,提出新型涡旋光束即部分相干涡旋光束。相较于完全相干涡旋光束,部分相干涡旋光束具有独特的物理内涵和光学特性,尤其是对其相干性和拓扑荷的联合调控会引发一系列奇特的新物理效应(如相干奇点、光束整形、偏振态转换、自修复等)。回顾了部分相干涡旋光束的基本理论及发展历程,着重对部分相干涡旋光束的理论模型、传输特性、实验产生、实验测量和应用基础研究进行了阐述。 相似文献

Based on the generalized Huygens-Fresnel diffraction integral and beam coherence polarization (BCP) matrix formulation, the focusing properties of a type of non-uniformly polarized (NUP) beam through a spherical aberrated lens with annular aperture are studied. The dependence of focal shift, intensity distribution, power in the bucket (PIB) and degree of polarization on the spherical aberration coefficient, obscure ratio and polarization parameters is illustrated numerically. Based on a recently formulated unified theory of coherence
and polarization, a method is described to study turbulence-induced
changes in the polarization, the coherence and the spectrum of
partially coherent electromagnetic beams on propagation. The
electromagnetic Gaussian Schell-model beam is taken as a typical
example of partially coherent electromagnetic beams, and the
closed-form expressions for the degree of polarization, the degree
of coherence and the spectrum of electromagnetic Gaussian
Schell-model beams propagating through atmospheric turbulence are
derived in the quadratic approximation of Rytov's phase structure
function. Some interesting results are obtained, which are

Propagation properties of coherent and partially coherent beams in atmospheric turbulence are investigated respectively by using numerical simulation It is found that a partially coherent beam has a spreading larger than a coherent beam. However, from the point view of relative beam spreading and intensity scintillation, a partially coherent beam is less affected than the corresponding coherent beam, which may be the most important virtue of partially coherent beams that could be utilized to improve the performance of laser engineering. The beam wandering is almost independent of the degree of the source coherence. More aperture averaging occurs when beam becomes more coherent. 相似文献

We formulate and evaluate in terms of graphical outputs, source and receiver plane expressions, the complex degree of coherence, beam size variation and power in bucket performance for higher order partially coherent dark hollow beams propagating in turbulent atmosphere. Our formulation is able to cover square, rectangular, circular, elliptical geometries for dark hollow and flat-topped beams in one single expression. From the graphical outputs of the receiver plane, it is observed that higher order partially coherent dark hollow beams will initially develop an outer ring around a central lobe, but will eventually evolve towards a Gaussian shape as the propagation distance is extended. It is further observed that stronger turbulence levels and greater partial coherence have similar effects on beam profile. During propagation, modulus of complex degree of coherence of partially coherent dark hollow beams appears to rise above that of the source plane values, reaching as high as near unity. Beam size analysis shows that, among the types examined, (nearly) flat-topped beam experiences the least beam expansion. Power in bucket analysis indicates that lowest order square fully coherent dark beam offers the best power capturing. 相似文献
