基于孪生色锁噪声场的互相关效应,从理论上研究了倒V形(RV)四能级飞秒量级差频极化拍与极化拍中五阶非线性极化率,并提出了用一种相位敏感的方法来研究多能级原子相干造成的三光子六波混频过程.在抽泵光束为窄带末端情况下,场关联对信号和极化率的影响都很弱,在非窄带情况下,场关联会使极化强度自相干信号和极化拍信号产生关于零延时的不对称性和时域扫描上的辐射与物质失谐阻尼振荡(RDO),而极化率会产生频域扫描上的RDO振荡.参考光信号是一路传播方向和六波混频信号稍有区别的双光于非简并四波混频信号.五阶非线性响应则由享生  相似文献

将光外差探测方法应用于瑞利型增强四波混频的研究,通过理论分析得到了瑞利型增强四波混频三阶极化率的表达式和外差拍信号的解析解,对拍信号的研究表明这种方法可以保留瑞利型增强四波混频极化过程的完整信息,获得瑞利型增强极化的吸收谱与色散谱.同时分析了三种不同的马尔可夫随机场模型下的差拍信号的区别与联系.  相似文献

本文研究了Rb原子气室中泵浦光偏振对简并四波混频信号的影响.实验中,一束泵浦光和探针光沿相同方向传播进入Rb原子气室中,另一泵浦光沿反方向传播进入.通过改变泵浦光的偏振,观察四波混频信号的变化.实验结果表明:当两束泵浦光的偏振平行时,四波混频信号较强;当两束泵浦光的偏振相互垂直时,四波混频信号消失.理论分析表明泵浦光干涉导致的原子布居数差光栅是简并四波混频信号产生的原因.  相似文献

理论计算了带有极化子效应的ZnS/CdSe柱型核壳结构量子点简并四波混频的三阶极化率.在有效质量近似下,采用无限深势阱模型,导出了带有极化子效应的柱型量子点的三阶非线性光学极化率的解析表达式,解三维薛定谔方程得到电子的本征能量和波函数.分析了电子-LO声子和电子-IO声子相互作用对ZnS/CdSe核壳结构量子点简并四波混频的三阶极化率的影响.结果表明,当量子点尺寸一定时,带有极化子效应的χ(3)DFWM比没有极化子时的三阶极化率提高了近3个数量级,并且电子-LO声子的影响比电子-IO声子的影响大得多;当固定核壳量子点的阱宽而内外半径发生变化时,χ(3)DFWM的峰值随之变化,而且极化子效应影响的大小也随之发生变化.  相似文献

本文实验上观察到在85Rb原子蒸气D1线系统中,基于Raman共振的四波混频得到显著地增强;并且通过模拟看到,随着耦合光功率的减小或多普勒展宽的增大,信号线宽呈现被压窄的趋势.我们利用宏观极化干涉理论对光谱线宽的特点进行了分析,并诠释了在多普勒增宽L-型能级系统中的四波混频与电磁感应透明均来源于受激Raman散射,区别在于探测方式和对象的不同.  相似文献

功率为1mW左右的He-Ne激光束在Mn:KNSBN晶体中实现四波混频相位共轭。入射光相对于晶体主光轴的取向及入射光偏振组态对相位共轭反射率都有很大的影响。当物光近于布儒斯特角入射时,反射率可达60%。建立时间约为60sec的光折变光栅具有18hr左右的寿命。晶体中观察到诱导四波混频相位共轭。  相似文献

从实验上研究了同成分SBN:Cr晶体在He-Ne激光照射下的四波混频相位共轭特性.首先测量了在不同泵浦光与信号光光强比m及不同光束夹角2θ的情况下,晶体的四波混频相位共轭反射率R随泵浦光强比p的变化关系.其次测量了泵浦光束与信号光束耦合方向对SBN:Cr晶体的四波混频相位共轭特性的影响,并就两种不同掺杂浓度的晶体样品进行了对比,所得实验结果与理论分析基本一致.最后,利用SBN:Cr晶体四波混频相位共轭特性进行了图象畸变消除实验.  相似文献

We propose a dual electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) based multiwave mixing scheme that retains the significantly enhanced conversion efficiency enabled by ultraslow propagation of pump waves, yet is also capable of inhibiting and delaying the onset of the detrimental three-photon destructive interference that limits the further growth of the four-wave mixing (FWM) field. We show that the new scheme exhibits a wave-matching condition that is fundamentally different from the conventional FWM without EIT, and the efficient generation of the mixing wave is not critically dependent upon the FWM detuning to achieve constructive interference as required in the conventional FWM. These are significant steps forward in enabling applications of ultraslow wave nonlinear optics.  相似文献

Using Schrödinger-Maxwell formalism, we propose and analyze an optical four-wave mixing (FWM) scheme for the generation of coherent light in a coherent six-level atomic medium based on dual electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT). We show that the significantly enhanced conversion efficiency enabled by ultraslow propagation of pump waves has no direct relationship with the single-photon detuning, which is different from the FWM with a single EIT. The most important feature is that our scheme is also capable of inhibiting and delaying the onset of the detrimental three-photon destructive interference that looks like a recent scheme [Phys. Rev. Lett. 91 (2003) 243902] and may be used for generating short-wave-length coherent radiation.  相似文献

By designing and fabricating a series of dual-interferometer coupled silicon microrings, the coupling condition of the pump, signal, and idler beams can be engineered independently and then we carried out both the continuous-wave and pulse pumped four-wave mixing experiments to verify the dependence of conversion efficiency on the coupling conditions of the four interacting beams, respectively. Under the continuous-wave pump, the four-wave mixing efficiency gets maximized when both the pump and signal/idler beams are closely operated at the critical coupling point, while for the pulse pump case, the efficiency can be enhanced greatly when the pump and converted idler beams are all overcoupled. These experiment results agree well with our theoretical calculations. Our design provides a platform for explicitly characterizing the four-wave mixing under different pumping conditions, and offers a method to optimize the four-wave mixing, which will facilitate the development of on-chip all-optical signal processing with a higher efficiency or reduced pump power.  相似文献

In the four-wave mixing process, since the intensity of the generated coherence field is related closely to the third-order nonlinear susceptibility. With the help of a Hamiltonian approach, we obtain the expression of third-order nonlinear susceptibility χ(3), and the special relation between χ(3) and the nonlinear conversion coefficient. They are very useful to analyze the phase mismatch due to the Kerr effect and linear refraction contributions, which affect the maximum conversion efficiency under the condition taking account into pump field depletion. The investigative results show that energy conversion efficiency from the weak idler field to the generated field may exceed 100% when the phase mismatch induced by linear refraction is compensated, though the phase mismatch contribution from the Kerr effect can not be compensated simultaneously. Moreover, the conversion efficiency of the photon numbers fast reaches a plateau value.  相似文献

Four-wave mixing processes are shown to provide a high efficiency of non-linear optical frequency conversion and spectral transformation of ultrashort pulses in supercontinuum-generating microstructure fibers. Pump-depleting conversion of 800-nm radiation to the spectral range around 500 nm is achieved by phase-matching the parametric four-wave mixing process for 80-fs Ti:sapphire-laser pulses. The ways to use microstructure fibers for generating frequency-tunable radiation through four-wave mixing with the maximum efficiency of pump-field frequency conversion are discussed. We demonstrate in experiment an efficient cw four-wave mixing scheme with maximal intensity conversion efficiency up to 73% in a double-Λ system of hot rubidium atoms. Relevant theoretical analysis shows that this high conversion efficiency benefits greatly from the constructive interference between two four-wave mixing channels, characterized by two different space-dependent phases.  相似文献

We demonstrate efficient four-wave mixing with an intensity conversion efficiency of nearly 100% in theory without considering the Doppler-broadening effect in a four-level double-Λ system of hot 87 Rb gas.The corresponding experimental value of about 73% was reported in our earlier work under the same conditions.This dramatic efficiency is critically dependent on the constructive interference between two four-wave mixing processes relevant to the internally generated four-wave mixing signal.  相似文献

The dressed four-wave mixing (FWM) in a four-level S5Rb atomic system, experimentally demon- strated in this paper, is comprised by two coexisting processes. One is emission signal due to enhanced nonlinear via electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT). The other is the Bragg reflection of probe beam because of the created photonic band gap (PBG), which is affected by both linear and third-order nonlinear susceptibility. Moreover, we have demonstrated that different experimental parameters can significantly influence the measured signal with flexibly controlled PBG. These studies are found useful for understanding the fundamental mechanisms in generated FWM processing.  相似文献

本文研究了近共振增强的四能级系统有机染料溶液中简并的四波混频后向波和前向波的位相复共轭特性。用有效长度为5毫米、浓度为2.5×10-5克分子的叶绿素A甲醇溶液作介质,当调QNd:YAG倍频抽运光能量为8毫焦耳时,非线性反射率为22%。研究了若丹明6G酒精溶液双光子共振增强的简并的四波混频作用。测量了非线性反射率与介质浓度及抽运波和物波强度的关系曲线。理论分析了四波混频前向波的位相复共轭特性,实验证实了理论的预言。另外,把四重简并的四波混频推广到二重简并。用9740有机染料二氯乙烷饱和吸收溶液作介质,实现了1.06微米到5320埃的象转换。介质长度为5毫米,抽运光能量为5毫焦耳时,转换效率达25%。理论分析表明,用对红外近共振吸收而对可见辐射是透明的介质可实现高效率红外象转换。 关键词:  相似文献
