Based on two atoms and two cavities initially in two pairs of atom-photon nonmaximally entangled states, we propose a relatively simple scheme to create maximally entangled photon-photon and atom-photon states via entanglement swapping using techniques of cavity QED inspired by the scheme proposed in [Phys. Rev. A 71 (2005)044302] and [Phys. Rev. A 71 (2005) 034312]. Our scheme does not involve the measurement in Bell basis, we only require detecting the states of atoms.  相似文献

We show how to realize long-distance quantum communication using a long-lived quantum memory, which is embedded in a decoherence-free subspace (DFS). Neutral atoms were used in the present scheme, whose interactions are catalyzed by single photons or weak coherent light. The generation, purification and swapping of logical entangled states are performed with help of cavity-assisted photon scattering which is robust to random variation in the atom-photon coupling rate.  相似文献

We propose using spontaneous Raman scattering from an optically driven Bose-Einstein condensate as a source of atom-photon pairs whose internal states are maximally entangled. Generating entanglement between a particle which is easily transmitted (the photon) and one which is easily trapped and coherently manipulated (an ultracold atom) will prove useful for a variety of quantum-information related applications. We analyze the type of entangled states generated by spontaneous Raman scattering and construct a geometry which results in maximum entanglement.  相似文献

We study spontaneous directionality in the bosonic amplification of atom pairs emitted from an elongated Bose-Einstein condensate, an effect analogous to superradiant emission of atom-photon pairs. Using a simplified model, we make analytic predictions regarding directional effects for both atom-atom and atom-photon emission. These are confirmed by numerical mean-field simulations, demonstrating the feasibility of nearly perfect directional emission along the condensate axis. The dependence of the emission angle on the pump strength for atom-atom pairs is significantly different than for atom-photon pairs.  相似文献

The problem of closing the detection loophole with asymmetric systems, such as entangled atom-photon pairs, is addressed. We show that, for the Bell inequality I3322, a minimal detection efficiency of 43% can be tolerated for one of the particles, if the other one is always detected. Wireless quantum communication networks transfer quantum state by teleportation. Existing research focuses on maximal entangled pairs. In this paper, we analyse the distributed wireless quantum communication networks with partially entangled pairs. A quantum routing scheme with multi-hop teleportation is proposed. With the proposed scheme, is not necessary for the quantum path to be consistent with the classical path. The quantum path and its associated classical path are established in a distributed way. Direct multi-hop teleportation is conducted on the selected path to transfer a quantum state from the source to the destination. Based on the feature of multi-hop teleportation using partially entangled pairs, if the node number of the quantum path is even, the destination node will add another teleportation at itself. We simulated the performance of distributed wireless quantum communication networks with a partially entangled state. The probability of transferring the quantum state successfully is statistically analyzed. Our work shows that multi-hop teleportation on distributed wireless quantum networks with partially entangled pairs is feasible.  相似文献

We report the observation of entanglement between a single trapped atom and a single photon at a wavelength suitable for low-loss communication over large distances, thereby achieving a crucial step towards long range quantum networks. To verify the entanglement, we introduce a single atom state analysis. This technique is used for full state tomography of the atom-photon qubit pair. The detection efficiency and the entanglement fidelity are high enough to allow in a next step the generation of entangled atoms at large distances, ready for a final loophole-free Bell experiment.  相似文献

提出基于腔QED技术的多用户间的多原子W态和GHZ态量子信道的建立方案.在量子网络的空闲时段,各个用户和量子交换机共享EPR对.量子交换机通过原子和腔场的相互作用将两个EPR对制备成W态,再与另一个EPR对进行纠缠交换,经过直接测量后为用户建立三原子W态量子信道;同时讨论了四用户间的W态量子信道的建立方案.量子交换机对三个EPR对进行纠缠交换,将三个原子同时与腔场作用,经过直接测量后为用户建立三原子GHZ态量子信道;并将此方法推广到N个用户间的GHZ态量子信道的建立. 关键词: 腔QED 量子信道 量子交换机 纠缠交换  相似文献

A Scheme for teleporting an unknown four-particle entangled state is proposed via entangled swapping. In this scheme, four pairs of entangled particles are used as quantum channel. It is shown that, if the four pairs of particles are nonmaximally entangled, the teleportation can be successfully realized with certain probability if a receiver adopts some appropriate unitary transformations.  相似文献

We propose a scheme for the implementation of nonlocal quantum swap operation on two spatially separated entangled pairs and we show that the operation can swap two qubits of these entangled pairs.We discuss the resources of the entangled qubits and classical communication bits required for the optimal implementation of the nonlocal quantum swap operation.We also put forward a scheme for probabilistic implementation of nonlocal swap operation via a nonmaximally entangled quantum channel.The probability of a successful nonlocal swap operation is obtained by introducing a collective unitary transformation.  相似文献

We show that although we cannot distil a singlet from many pairs of bound entangled states, the concurrence and the tangle of two entangled quantum states are always strictly larger than those of one of them, even both entangled quantum states are bound entangled. We present a relation between the concurrence and the fidelity of optimal teleportation. We also give new upper and lower bounds for concurrence and tangle.  相似文献

提出了一种基于纠缠态的量子中继通信系统,该系统应用纠缠为基本资源.纠缠为量子隐形传态和绝对安全的量子通信提供了保证.量子中继器用来延长高纠缠度的纠缠光子对的纠缠距离,利用纠缠交换和纠缠纯化在系统的发信者与受信者之间建立光子对的纠缠.应用量子隐形传态的原理传输量子信息.系统分析表明,量子通信系统的吞吐率随着通信双方成功建立纠缠的概率增大而显著增加,量子信号的传输距离取决于量子中继节点的级数.  相似文献

In Bell experiments, one problem is to achieve high enough photodetection to ensure that there is no possibility of describing the results via a local hidden-variable model. Using the Clauser-Horne inequality and a two-photon nonmaximally entangled state, a photodetection efficiency higher than 0.67 is necessary. Here we discuss atom-photon Bell experiments. We show that, assuming perfect detection efficiency of the atom, it is possible to perform a loophole-free atom-photon Bell experiment whenever the photodetection efficiency exceeds 0.50.  相似文献

We describe a protocol for quantum state teleportation via mixed entangled pairs. With the help of an ancilla, near-perfect teleportation might be achieved. For pure entangled pairs, perfect teleportation might be achieved with a certain probability without using an ancilla. The protocol is generalized to teleportation of multiparticle states and quantum secret sharing.  相似文献

Utilizing three non-maximally entangled qutrit pairs as quantum channels, we first propose a generalized tripartite scheme for sharing an arbitrary two-qutrit state with generalized Bell-state measurements. In the scheme if and only if the two recipients collaborate together, they can recover the split qutrit state with the probability determined uniquely by the smallest coefficients of the non-maximally entangled pairs. Afterwards, we further extend the scheme for sharing an arbitrary 2n-qudit state by taking 3n non-maximally entangled qudit pairs as quantum channels. Moreover, the scheme success probability relative to the inherent entanglement in quantum channels and its structure is simply discussed.  相似文献

为了解决量子信令远程传输损伤问题,提出了一种量子信令中继器模型. 在该模型中,首先对接收到的信令量子态进行纠缠纯化和纠缠分发,这样就可在收发双方之间建立纠缠信道. 其次,通过纠缠交换,传送所要发送的量子信令,从而完成量子信令的中继. 仿真结果表明,在保真度为0.98、纠缠对成功建立概率为0.98的条件下, 信令中继成功率可以达到97%以上;在纠缠交换概率、纯化概率和纠缠对成功建立概率都为0.98时, 量子信令中继器的吞吐量可达到183kbps,以上各项指标能够有效满足量子通信对信令中继的要求. 关键词: 量子通信 量子信令 纠缠纯化 纠缠分发  相似文献

Owing to interference induced by spontaneous emission, the density-matrix equations in a three-level Λ-type system have an additional coherence term, which plays a critical role in modulating the inversionless gain and electromagnetically induced transparency effect. In addition, it is shown that spontaneously generated coherence (SGC) has an effect on the entanglement between an atom and a photon of the coupling laser field by calculating the degree of entanglement (DEM) of the atomic system. In this paper, we investigate the influence of the SGC effect on atom-photon entanglement in a Λ-type system, which generally remains a high entangled state. When an incoherent pump source is introduced, we find that the SGC effect could exert considerable influence on the atom reduced entropy under certain conditions for both transient and steady states. More interestingly, such an incoherent pump field could actively affect the short-time dynamic behaviors of the transient quantum entangled state at a certain range of pump rate as a typical coherent case.  相似文献

We propose two schemes for teleporting an arbitrary three-particle state.In the first scheme,a two-particle state and a three-particle entangled state (both non-maximally entangled states)are used as quantum channels,while in the second scheme,three non-mnaximally entangled particle pairs are employed as quantum channels.We show that teleportation can be successfully realized with certain probability if a receiver adopts some appropriate unitary transformations.Their success probabilities and the classical communication costs are different.  相似文献

The correlated dynamics of a three-level atom resonantly coupled to an electromagnetic cavity field is calculated (Λ, V, and L models). A diagrammatic representation of quantum dynamics is proposed for these models. As an example, Λ-atom dynamics is examined to demonstrate how the use of conventional von Neumann’s reduction leads to internal decoherence (disentanglement-induced decoherence) and to the absence of atomic coherence under multiphoton excitation. The predicted absence of atomic coherence is inconsistent with characteristics of an experimentally observed atom-photon entangled state. It is shown that the correlated reduction of a composite quantum system proposed in [18] qualitatively predicts the occurrence and evolution of atomic coherence under multiphoton excitation if a seed coherence is introduced into any subsystem (the atom or a cavity mode).  相似文献
