对超短脉冲染料放大器(DLA)中放大的自发辐射(ASE)随泵浦强度变化的关系进行了实验研究,为了求得具有高储能、低自发辐射背景噪声的染料激光放大器的泵浦强度,我们用速率方程对实验结果进行了解析分析,获得了染料激光放大器的泵浦强度与染料参数(浓度、增益长度等)的近似关系式,以及相应条件下染料激光放大器储能和小信号增益的表达式,并与实验进行了比较.二者符合较好,从而为染料激光放大器的设计提供了参考.  相似文献

采用高效激光染料PM580作为掺杂物质,聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)作为基质,在对固体染料光谱特性研究的基础上,重点研究了调Q倍频Nd:YAG抽运下不同染料掺杂浓度的固体染料激光输出特性.研究结果表明掺杂浓度对输出激光波长影响明显,随着掺杂浓度的增加,激光输出波长红移,从激光增益出发,对该现象给出了理论解释.掺杂浓度对激光转化效率也有影响,当掺杂浓度为2×10-4mol/L时,获得染料激光输出斜率效率最高达53.8%,抽运能量410mJ时,获得染料激光输出220mJ,激光带宽~8nm 关键词: 固体染料 宽带染料激光 PM580 聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯  相似文献

配制了Stilbene 420染料溶液。测量了其吸收光谱。以调Q倍频Nd∶YAG激光为抽运源,实现了对Stilbene 420染料的激光光谱和荧光光谱的分析。激光光谱在425 nm处获得最强峰值,半峰高宽(FWHM)为1 nm,光谱范围为420~440 nm。荧光光谱峰值在428.5 nm,与激光最强峰值相差3.5 nm。最高染料转换效率为9.26%。  相似文献

选择含能聚合物聚叠氮缩水甘油醚(GAP)作为激光烧蚀微推力器的工质,分析了红外染料掺杂对激光烧蚀GAP工质推进性能的影响.通过对比掺杂红外染料GAP在不同激光功率密度、掺杂浓度、靶材厚度和激光烧蚀模式下的推进性能数据和烧蚀羽流,初步探索了掺杂红外染料GAP工质的推进性能优化方式.实验结果表明:透射式激光烧蚀模式下,激光能量的指数衰减特性和掺杂红外染料GAP的强黏性使得烧蚀羽流中易存在未充分烧蚀的工质; GAP的推进性能受红外染料掺杂浓度和靶材厚度的综合影响,当靶材厚度与激光吸收深度接近时,靶材充分吸收激光能量使中心烧蚀区达到化学能释放的温度阈值,同时沿激光传播方向未充分烧蚀的质量最少,此时推进性能达到最优值.反射式下掺杂红外染料的聚合物的激光烧蚀过程遵循"先吸收激光能量先喷射"的规律,工质分解充分,推进性能优于透射式.  相似文献

本文合成一种具有互变异构性能的新型激光染料奇通红.测试了该染料的光谱和激光性能.结果表明奇通红染料的吸收峰值在568nm,荧光峰值在593nm.阈值很低(~0.3mJ);能量转换效率大于40%.可以作为调谐激光染料系列红光区候选染料.  相似文献

用Nd:YAG532nm激光泵浦的混合染料激光得到了在相当于铜蒸气激光器泵浦染料激光的某个波段上增强的激光输出,测得了铀原子在562-586nm波段内的单色三光子共振电离谱中140个能级,其中575.814和575.836nm两个峰很好地分开了,它们的相对强度也能测定,若用单一染料的激光是难以做到,因为目前尚无合适的染料在上述波段内能有强的激光输出。  相似文献

本文首次报道了利用脉宽为25ns重复率为10kHz的溴化亚铜激光泵浦混有饱和吸收体DODCI的超短腔染料激光,产生出30ps光脉冲.在理论上对混入DODCI的超短腔染料激光脉冲压缩效应作了分析计算,计算结果与实验基本一致.在实验上又通过一个放大-色散系统实现对此染料激光脉冲的同步放大和调谐,并达到傅里叶变换极限.  相似文献

This article reports the optical properties such as absorption profile, molar absorptivity, fluorescence profile and photo-physical parameters such as dipole moment, oscillator strength, fluorescence quantum yields, fluorescence lifetimes, laser performance and finally photostability of 2,5-Bis(5-tert-butyl-benzoxazol-2-yl)thiophene (BBOT),1,4-Bis(5-phenyl-2-oxazolyl)benzene (POPOB), 5-diphenyel-oxazole (PPO) laser dyes in different restricted hosts. (BBOT), (POPOB) and (PPO) are embedded in transparent silica-based nanoporous sol-gel glass and copolymer matrix of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA). The absorption and fluorescence properties of these laser dyes in sol-gel glass matrices are compared with their respective properties in copolymer host. In case of sol-gel matrix, all dyes had higher quantum yields as well as lasing wavelength maxima. The laser performances as well as the photostability of these laser dyes in sol-gel glass displayed senior behavior compared with (MMA/ HEMA) copolymer samples upon using nitrogen laser (337.1 nm) as pumping energy.  相似文献

Properties necessary to obtain efficient laser action from laser dyes are reviewed. It is concluded that the dye added (booster dye) to a laser dye (active dye) solution to increase its efficiency need not necessarily be a laser dye. This is illustrated by considering different spectral locations of a triplet-triplet absorption band present in the booster dye relative to the location of the laser action region (part of the fluorescence spectrum) of the active laser dye. Conditions required for booster dyes to form efficient dye mixtures are given. These observations are used to explain why specific well known laser dye mixtures show efficient, little, or no laser action at all.  相似文献

The laser properties of 19 dyes commonly used as fluorescent brightening agents (FBA) have been studied. A nitrogen laser served as the pumping source. The absorption spectra and the relationship between laser power and wavelength was determined for these dyes. Since several of these compounds have an efficiency comparable to that of the POPOP scintillator commonly used in this part of the spectrum, and since they are easily soluble in alcohols and furthermore, are very inexpensive, they may be competitive with other dyes hitherto used in the violet-blue region.  相似文献

激光器是DNA测序仪中的重要部件,寻求合适波长的激光器可有效提高DNA测序仪性能。分析了DNA检测所用的四种荧光染料FAM、JOE、TAMRA和ROX的激发谱和发射谱,设计实验技术方案利用488nm、505nm和515nm三种不同波长的激光器分别对其进行激发。在相同的积分时间和相同的功率下,488nm激光器对于荧光染料ROX的激发强度太低,515nm激光器对于荧光染料FAM的激发强度太低,而505nm激光器对于四种荧光染料的激发强度均比较强。实验结果表明在三种不同波长中,505nm激光器对四种荧光染料的激发效果最佳,可以替代目前大多数DNA测序仪中的氩离子激光器。  相似文献

Lasing characteristics and bleaching of four Eastman Kodak ir dyes have been examined in dimethyl sulfoxide. These ir dyes are shown to improve in performance in the absence of oxygen. Their photochemical stability was found to be comparable to the quinolone laser dyes when exposed to flashlamp excitation. Photodecomposition of the ir dyes under lasing conditions was found to vary between 1.6 and 6×10−10 moles of dye for each joule (electrical) of input energy; in comparison, the photodecomposition values for the better coumarin dyes was 0.2 to 1.0×10−10 moles/J at a concentration of 1.0×10−4 M in ethanol. It was also found that increasing the concentration of these tricarbocyanine dyes gives a marked improvement in the useful lifetime of these solutions as lasing media in the absence of oxygen.  相似文献

Photodegradation parameters that relate bleaching and absorption at the lasing wavelength λl have been examined for over 30 different coumarin and quinolone laser dyes in a number of solvents. Quinolone dyes were found to bleach faster than the coumarin dyes. The effect of chemical substituents was found to affect bleaching of the coumarin dyes only to a small (20%) extent in ethanol. The major effect of chemical substituents was in the conversion of a dye to products absorbing at λl. Effects of solvent, cover gas, and changes in fluorescent quantum yields are discussed. Of particular interest is the photodegradation parameterA, the ratio of the percent absorption at λl to the total input energy per dm3. Combined with τ, the total input energy per dm3 required for a laser to reach half its original intensity, it was found thatAτ=1.2±0.9 for all of the dyes independent of dye concentration in all of the solvents tested. It appears that where bleaching of the dye is only of the order of 10–20%, the absorption at λl is 1.2% when our dye laser has reached one-half of its initial output. It is consequently possible to estimate τ values of new dyes by the use ofA terms through the relationshipA 1τ1=A 2τ2 where τ1 of Dye 1 has been calibrated in the same dye laser system.  相似文献

The lasing outputs and lifetime constants are reported for the fluorinated azacoumarin dyes, AC2F, AC3F, and AC4F, in a variety of solvents. Most of the tests were made under both air and argon. The best results were obtained using solvents such as ethanol mixed with water or ethylene glycol under air. The dyes AC2F or AC4F gave results that were comparable or superior to those of AC3F. These dyes represent the longest lived of the presently known coumarin laser dyes when used with a solvent capable of hydrogen bonding.  相似文献

A figure-of-merit (FOM) consisting of the initial laser slope efficiency times the dye lifetime constant is used to compare the effect of a Pyrex light filter and the cover gas upon the output characteristics of six laser dye solutions. The FOM is found to improve using the Pyrex filter from 2-fold (coumarin 102 under air) up to 3800-fold (rhodamine 6 G under argon). In most cases, the use of argon in place of air for a coumarin dye not only improves the laser output, but also increases the lifetime constant. However, two of the coumarin dyes had an increase in lifetime under air as compared to under argon. This difference is explained in terms of the relative energy levels of the singlet and triplet states of these dyes. In order to measure long-lived dye solutions, a separate output-monitored linear flashlamp was used to degrade the solutions. The dye lifetime constants were corrected for changes in the output of this linear flashlamp. The relative output of this dye degradation flashlamp was found to depend upon the wavelength of the measurement and the position of the sensor along the length of the lamp. The variation in the output of several flashlamps is shown for lamps operating up to a total of 30 million flashes. The lifetime constants of the dye LD-490 measured by using the coaxial laser flashlamp was found to be comparable with, but lower than, the constants obtained from using the linear dye-degradation flashlamp.  相似文献

Lasing and fluorescence properties of ten dyes covering the spectral range from 400 nm to 800 nm were studied in a silica matrix prepared by the sol-gel technique. The dye-doped sol-gel silica samples fluoresced strongly under laser excitation. Many of the samples were also induced to superradiate. In comparison to dyes in alcohol solvents, significant red-shifting was observed in the sol-gel silica fluorescence spectra. Plausible causes of the red-shift are discussed.  相似文献

In this work, the technical aspects of laser marking using organo-metallic films of different compositions are reported. Orasols of different types and palladium (II) acetate are used, for the first time, to produce permanent markings of various colors on different substrates. Ceramic and plastic substrates were used. The deposition process is a photothermal process and the markings were carried out using an argon ion laser operating at λ = 514 nm. Two laser marking techniques are used with the orasol dyes and palladium (II) acetate. The first of these two techniques is mask marking, where laser light is projected onto a workpiece through a mask replicating the information to be marked. The second technique applied is real-time motion marking. The workpiece was translated under the stationary laser beam using a programmable stage translator. For both techniques, optimum marking parameters (scanning speed/exposure time, power, and deposited line width) are reported along with typical examples.  相似文献
