c was found to separate all the examined high-T

The temperature dependence of the critical value κc of the Ginzburg-Landau parameter which separates type-II/1 from type-II/2 superconductors is theoretically computed by means of a microscopic calculation of the boson characteristic function at nonzero temperature, assuming that the temperature is not too close to Tc. From the temperature dependence of the specific heat of the semiconductor La2CuO4 and the high temperature superconductors La1.8Sr0.2CuO4 (T c =37.2 K) and YBa1.9K0.1Cu3O6.9 (T c =91.5 K) in the range 1.5–30 K, a strong similarity of the lowfrequency part of their phonon density of states with a peak around 10 meV could be inferred. In the case of La1.8Sr0.2CuO4 the thermodynamical critical field belowT c has been determined and using the Rutger's formula and the BCS model, a Sommerfeld coefficient γ=9 mJ·mol?1 K?1 was obtained, which, taking into account recent results of band structure calculations leads to an electron-phonon enhancement factor γ=1.3, value compatible withT c =36 K when using McMillan's formula forT c . A systematic study of the magnetization offered evidence for strong flux trapping effects at higher fields and for Meissner shielding by superconducting Josephson currents in fields below 6 mT at 4.2 K. 相似文献

The critical temperature, T c, for all presently known superconductors does not exceed 20°K. This fact obviously limits the range of applications of superconductivity in technology in a very fundamental way. On the whole, the reason why the value of T c for ‘ordinary’ superconductors should not exceed 20–40 °K is fairly well understood on the basis of the existing theory of superconductivity. At the same time, there apparently could exist high temperature superconductors for which the temperature T c would reach hundreds of degrees, or at least liquid air temperature. Possible means of producing high temperature superconductors are considered in this article. Special attention is paid to what can be called the exciton mechanism of superconductivity. 相似文献

Although it has been widely accepted for several years that the normal state of high Tc superconductors is anomalous, only recently has there been growing evidence for the anomalous nature of the superconducting state. A number of recent experiments show clear evidence for the existence of low-lying excitations in the superconducting state. Moreover, the observation by Bonn, Hardy and coworkers of a linear temperature dependence in the microwave surface resistance and penetration depth of YBCO at low temperatures suggests d-wave pairing with line nodes. The evidence for and against unconventional superconductivity in the high Tc oxides is reviewed. Specific topics discussed include the different behaviours observed for the penetration depth in thin films and in single crystals, what is known about the absolute value of the penetration depth, the role of disorder and inelastic scattering, the relative merits of strongvs. weak correlation theories of d-wave superconductivity in the high Tc oxides, and most important, what have we actually learned about the penetration depth of high Tc superconductors fromμSR? 相似文献

The influence of the dimension of seed crystal on the characteristics of crystal growth from solution under microgravity is studied. The dimensionless average velocity of fluid Vav, the dimensionless maximum velocity of fluid Vmax, the temperature distribution index Sθ, the concentration distribution index Sφ and the dimensionless average growth rate of crystal \overline{V}cg are calculated by only taking into account the variation of the solution density caused by the temperature change, that caused by the concentration change being neglected. In certain regions of the parameter (Ra, Pr,Sc and μ) space, some scaling laws are generated: the scales of Sφ and \overline{V}cg are given by power functions of μ with negative exponents. It is shown that the characteristics of crystal growth for small seed crystal are different from those for large seed crystal. 相似文献

A unified model of the superconducting mechanism has been put forward. The model suits not only to high-Tc but also to low-Tc superconductors. It is found that there are superconducting domains (SD) in crystal. When T⩽Tc, all the SD’s in the whole crystal are connected with one another. We have obtained the formula of Tc. On the basis of the formula and theory of quantum mechanics, the different behaviours of isotopic effects in low- and high-Tc superconductors as well as C60, the triangular peak of Tc of transition metals, Matthias rules, and other effects are explained. The absolute value of the recoil-free fraction was measured accurately at three reference temperatures in the range 300 K
down to 4 K, in two Sn-baseA 15 superconductors with disparate superconducting properties. The higher-T
c compound Nb3Sn (T
c≈18K) exhibits low-temperature anharmonicity; this is in contrast to the lattice-dynamics of the low-T
c isomorph V3Sn (T
c≈4K) in which it is observed that harmonic binding of the Sn atoms is prevalent down to low temperatures. The difference in
