报道了一种新型有机材料ZnTBP-CA-PhR的光学非线性吸收特性,此材料在激光作用下,在可见光区域具有反饱和吸收,再反饱和吸收和饱和吸收效应.同时发现该材料优良的光学限幅性能,不仅光限幅的阈值低,而且限幅前光透射呈线性状态没有光学非线性效应.用5能级结构模型及速率方程模拟了饱和及反饱和的实验曲线,分析了非线性吸收等的物理机理.  相似文献

利用波长为532 nm的皮秒脉冲激光,研究了掺Er3 玻璃的光限幅特性和反饱和吸收.当入射功率不断增加且超过一定阈值时,透射功率不再随着入射功率快速增大,而是逐渐趋向于较稳定状态,从而实现了对强激光的光限幅效应.进一步利用布居速率方程讨论了其机制并给出了激发态的吸收截面,结果表明激发态吸收是其主要的光限幅机理.  相似文献

利用实验的方法研究了甲基红掺杂碳纳米管悬浮液对波长为532 nm激光的光限幅效应.分析了样品厚度和入射激光重复频率对光限幅特性的影响,并与纯碳纳米管悬浮液的光限幅特性进行了比较.实验结果表明,对于线性透过率为60%(500 nm)的碳纳米管悬浮液,掺入甲基红后其沉淀速度明显减慢,限幅阈值由250 μJ降低为200 μJ;对于2和5 mm 厚度的样品,掺杂甲基红使碳纳米管悬浮液的箝位输出激光脉冲能量分别由45和20 μJ降低为35和9 μJ. 关键词: 非线性光学 光限幅效应 甲基红 染料掺杂碳纳米管悬浮液  相似文献

利用Z扫描系统研究了多层石墨烯非线性光学吸收特性。结果表明多层石墨烯在激光作用下具有反饱和吸收特性,且非线性折射系数为正。随着层数增大,非线性光学吸收系数减少得慢一些。基于微观尺寸效应,2~5层石墨烯的叠层方式也会影响到非线性吸收系数的值。另外,激光的强度、中心波长和脉宽等因素都会影响样品非线性光学吸收系数的结果。石墨烯具有非常优良的非线性光学特性,为其制成非线性光学器件提供了有效的实验依据。  相似文献

通过光限幅、Z扫描、非线性吸收和散射能量分布实验,研究了碳纳米管悬浮液对532 nm激光的限幅机理以及样品厚度对光限幅机理的影响。结果表明:碳纳米管悬浮液的光限幅机理并非单纯的非线性散射,对低能量入射激光光限幅特性主要源于对入射激光的非线性吸收;对高能量入射激光,碳纳米管的吸收效应和它电离形成的微等离子体以及液体汽化所形成气泡散射效应的共同作用,使其具有较强的光限幅能力,对浓度一定的悬浮液,增加样品厚度虽然会增强其限幅效果,但却会减弱其非线性散射效应。  相似文献

利用纳秒级脉冲量激光的Z 扫描方法对不同层数石墨烯薄膜在3 m~5 m中红外波段的光限幅效应开展了研究,获得的开孔Z扫描曲线均呈现出单一谷结构,而闭孔Z扫描曲线没有明显的峰谷对称结构。通过对开孔Z扫描实验数据进行数值模拟,分别得到3层石墨烯在3.010 m、3.522 m、4.326 m和4.880 4 m 4个中心波长处的三阶非线性吸收系数和光限幅阈值分别为11.3910-7cm/W、10.6110-7cm/W、9.7510-7cm/W、8.8110-7cm/W和3.49 J/cm2、3.75 J/cm2、4.11 J/cm2、4.55 J/cm2;3层、5层和7层石墨烯在3.522 m中心波长处的三阶非线性吸收系数和光限幅阈值分别为10.6110-7 cm/W、11.3210-7 cm/W、11.9510-7 cm/W和3.75 J/cm2、3.41 J/cm2、3.32 J/cm2。实验数据表明,石墨烯在中红外波段产生了较强的非线性反饱和吸收而具有明显的光限幅效应。  相似文献

为了对抗日益严重的激光武器威胁,需要了解激光防护材料的光学性能。该文根据非线性吸收模型,推导出光限幅阈值表达式。并以表达式为理论依据,利用配位聚合物[Cd(L4)(SO4)(H2O)2]n在波长532nm、脉冲宽度为40ps的条件下所获得的实验数据,分析研究非线性吸收参数、线性透过率和有效激发态吸收截面等物理参数对光限幅效应的影响。以此为基础,研究了激光防护材料的非线性光学特性和光限幅特性,为制备光限幅材料提供了理论和实验依据。  相似文献

We have investigated the nonlinear response of the silver nanoparticle samples in a low-power regime of electromagnetic field based on nonlocal thermo-optic models. In this work, the experimental investigation of the thermo-optic nonlinear response of Ag colloids containing different size of silver nanoparticles is reported. The colloidal nanoparticle samples were synthesized by nanosecond pulsed laser ablation of Ag bulk in acetone. The sample containing Ag was characterized by linear absorption spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy. Using the z-scan technique, the behavior of thermal nonlinear refractive index of colloid was studied at different concentrations of silver nanoparticles. Observation of asymmetrical configurations of the z-scan data indicates that nonlinear refraction occurring in the Ag samples is related to the thermo-optical process. The optical limiting here is due to nonlinear refraction of the samples arising from thermal lens formation under low-power CW excitation. When the laser power is low, the self-defocusing effect is mainly dominated by surface plasmon resonance effect. Results show that with increasing concentration of nanoparticles in acetone, the nonlinear refractive index increases while the threshold power of optical limiting decreases.  相似文献

Nonlinear optical parameters (nonlinear refractive indices and nonlinear absorption coefficients) of solutions of polyvinylpyrrolidone doped by cobalt to various concentrations are measured at the lasing and second-harmonic wavelengths of a picosecond Nd:YAG laser (λ=1064 and 532 nm, respectively, and τ=35 ps). Data on optical limitation in these solutions are presented. The absence of nonlinear absorption in the IR spectral range and its significant effect in the visible range are demonstrated. Optical limitation at a wavelength of 1064 nm is related to defocusing, whereas at 532 nm, this effect is caused by two-photon absorption and partially by inverse saturated absorption and defocusing. Nonlinear optical parameters of metal-polymer complexes are reported.  相似文献

The optical, structural, and nonlinear optical properties of silver nanoparticles prepared using the method of laser ablation in various liquids at wavelengths of 397, 532, and 795 nm with laser pulses of different duration are studied. An analysis of the dimensional and spectral characteristics of the silver nanoparticles revealed a time dynamics of the nanoparticle size distribution in solutions. It is shown that thermal self-defocusing is observed for the case of nanosecond or shorter pulses generated with a high repetition rate. For picosecond and femtosecond pulses with a low repetition rate, the effects of self-focusing (γ = 3 × 10?13 cm2 W?1) and saturated absorption (β = ?1.5 × 10?9 cm W?1) were observed in the solutions under study. The third-order nonlinear susceptibility of the silver nanoparticles was found to be 5 × 10?8 esu at a wavelength of 397 nm.  相似文献

An organometallic complex, [(C4H9)4N]2[Cu(C3S5)2], abbreviated as BuCu, was synthesized. Then the BuCu-doped polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) thin film with a doping concentration 1% by weight (1 wt.%) was fabricated using a spin-coating method and its third-order nonlinear optical properties were characterized using the Z-scan technique with 20 ps pulse duration at 532 and 1064 nm, respectively. The Z-scan curves have revealed that the material exhibits a self-defocusing effect at both wavelengths. Saturable absorption at 532 nm and two-photon absorption at 1064 nm were also found, respectively. Additionally, the calculated results of the material in film were compared with that of acetone solution, which indicated that the values in film were larger than that of acetone solution for about two orders in magnitude. The origins were analyzed of the difference between the two wavelengths. Our results suggest that considerable nonlinear optical properties were confirmed in BuCu-doped PMMA film. The material can easily be doped into PMMA film and forms a waveguide mode. So this material should be considered to be manufactured into devices and applied in all-optical switching, laser locking-mode, optical limiting fields etc.  相似文献

The saturated nonlinear absorption and Kerr nonlinearities of an aqueous pseudoisocyanine solution are investigated at the wavelengths of 532 and 529 nm with the use of pulsed laser radiation of different duration (8 ns and 475 fs). The measured values of the nonlinear refractive indices amount to ?6×10?12 (t=8 ns) and ?8×10?14 cm2W?1 (t=475 fs). The change in self-action effects in pseudoisocyanine from self-defocusing to self-focusing revealed in the case of increasing intensity of femtosecond laser pulses is attributed to the effect of a fifth-order nonlinear optical process. The nonlinear refractive index responsible for this process amounts to 4×10?24 cm4 W?2. The imaginary part of the third-order nonlinear susceptibility, responsible for the induced transparency of the pseudoisocyanine solution, is Imχ (3)=?2×10?12 esu. Temporal changes in the shape of nanosecond laser pulses due to the nonlinear refraction induced by a thermal process are analyzed.  相似文献

We report here the studies on third-order nonlinear optical properties of two novel polythiophene composite films investigated using the Z-scan technique. The measurements were carried out using a Q-switched, frequency doubled Nd:YAG laser producing 7 nanosecond laser pulses at 532 nm. Z-scan results reveal that the composite films exhibit self-defocusing nonlinearity. The real and imaginary parts of the third-order nonlinear optical susceptibility were of the order 10−12 esu. The effective excited-state absorption cross section was found to be larger than the ground state absorption cross section, indicating that the operating nonlinear mechanism is reverse saturable absorption (RSA). The polythiophene composite films also exhibit good optical power limiting of the nanosecond laser pulses. The nonlinear optical parameters are found to increase on increasing the strength of the electron-donor group, indicating the dependence of χ (3) on the electron-donor/acceptor units of polythiophenes.  相似文献

采用Z-扫描和泵浦-探测技术,在光通讯波段对砷化镓(GaAs)单晶进行了非线性动力学以及非线性光学的实验研究.飞秒泵浦-探测实验结果表明,三阶非线性光学效应源于砷化镓单晶对飞秒激光的瞬态双光子吸收,而五阶非线性光学效应源于砷化镓单晶双光子吸收诱导的自由载流子吸收效应.通过Z扫描实验,得到了关于GaAs单晶所有的非线性光学参数,包括双光子吸收系数、三阶非线性折射系数、双光子吸收诱导的自由载流子吸收截面以及双光子吸收诱导的自由载流子折射截面.结果表明,砷化镓单晶在制造光限幅器件和光电探测器方面具有良好的发展前景.  相似文献

A novel dmit organometallic complex: [(C2H5)4N]2[Cu(dmit)2] (dmit2-=1,3-dithiole-2-thione-4,5-dithiolate), abbreviated as EtCu, was synthesized. Afterwards its optical nonlinearities in acetone solution at 532 nm and 1064 nm were studied by the Z-scan technique with laser pulses of picosecond duration. The two-photon absorption at 1064 nm and the saturable absorption at 532 nm were observed. The Z-scan curves also revealed that EtCu sample solutions exhibited self-defocusing effects at both wavelengths. The origins were analyzed for the differences between the results.
