A study is conducted using a two-dimensional simulation program (Lared-s) with the goal of developing a technique to evaluate the effect of Rayleigh-Taylor growth in a neutron fusion reaction region. Two peaks of fusion reaction rate are simulated by using a two-dimensional simulation program (Lared-s) and confirmed by the experimental results. A neutron temporal diagnostic (NTD) system is developed with a high temporal resolution of - 30 ps at the Shen Guang-Ⅲ (SG-Ⅲ) prototype laser facility in China, to measure the fusion reaction rate history. With the shape of neutron reaction rate curve and the spherical harmonic function in this paper, the degree of Rayleigh-Taylor growth and the main source of the neutron yield in our experiment can be estimated qualitatively. This technique, including the diagnostic system and the simulation program, may provide important information for obtaining a higher neutron yield in implosion experiments of inertial confinement fusion.  相似文献

This paper explores the band structure effect to elucidate the feasibility of an ultra-scaled GaAs Schottky MOSFET (SBFET) in a nanoscale regime. We have employed a 20-band sp3d5s* tight-binding (TB) approach to compute E K dispersion. The considerable difference between the extracted effective masses from the TB approach and bulk values implies that quantum confinement affects the device performance. Beside high injection velocity, the ultra-scaled GaAs SBFET suffers from a low conduction band DOS in the Γ valley that results in serious degradation of the gate capacitance. Quantum confinement also results in an increment of the effective Schottky barrier height (SBH). Enhanced Schottky barriers form a double barrier potential well along the channel that leads to resonant tunneling and alters the normal operation of the SBFET. Major factors that may lead to resonant tunneling are investigated. Resonant tunneling occurs at low temperatures and low drain voltages, and gradually diminishes as the channel thickness and the gate length scale down. Accordingly, the GaAs (100) SBFET has poor ballistic performance in nanoscale regime.  相似文献

The effects of atomic-level rnixing are systemically investigated in a multifluid interpenetration mix model ,and results are compared with the single-fluid model's simulations and experimental data. It is shown that increasing the model free parameter α, shock Mach number, and the initial density discontinuity makes the mix length and fraction of mixing particle increase, resulting in the lower shock temperatures compared with the results of single-fluid model without mixing. Recent high-compressibility direct-drive spherical implosions on OMEGA are simulated by the interpenetration mix modal. The calculations with atomic mixing between fuel and shell match quite well with the observations. Without considering any mixing, the calculated neutron yields and ion temperatures are overpredicted; while inclusion of the interpenetration mix model with the adjustable parameter α could fit the simulated neutron yields and ion temperatures well with experimental data.  相似文献

The mean first-passage time of a bistable system with time-delayed feedback driven by multiplicative non-Gaussian noise and additive Gaussian white noise is investigated. Firstly, the non-Markov process is reduced to the Markov process through a path-integral approach; Secondly, the approximate Fokker-Planck equation is obtained by applying the unified coloured noise approximation, the small time delay approximation and the Novikov Theorem. The functional analysis and simplification are employed to obtain the approximate expressions of MFPT. The effects of non-Gaussian parameter (measures deviation from Gaussian character) r, the delay time τ, the noise correlation time to, the intensities D and a of noise on the MFPT are discussed. It is found that the escape time could be reduced by increasing the delay time τ, the noise correlation time τ0, or by reducing the intensities D and α. As far as we know, this is the first time to consider the effect of delay time on the mean first-passage time in the stochastic dynamical system.  相似文献

In the framework of density functional theory(DFT), we have studied the electronic properties of alkene/alkynehydrosilylated silicon nanocrystals(Si NCs) in the size range from 0.8 nm to 1.6 nm. Among the alkenes with all kinds of functional groups considered in this work, only those containing –NH2and –C4H3S lead to significant hydrosilylationinduced changes in the gap between the highest occupied molecular orbital(HOMO) and the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital(LUMO) of an Si NC at the ground state. The quantum confinement effect is dominant for all of the alkenehydrosilylated Si NCs at the ground state. At the excited state, the prevailing effect of surface chemistry only occurs at the smallest(0.8 nm) Si NCs hydrosilylated with alkenes containing –NH2and –C4H3S. Although the alkyne hydrosilylation gives rise to a more significant surface chemistry effect than alkene hydrosilylation, the quantum confinement effect remains dominant for alkyne-hydrosilylated Si NCs at the ground state. However, at the excited state, the effect of surface chemistry induced by the hydrosilylation with conjugated alkynes is strong enough to prevail over that of quantum confinement.  相似文献

KH2PO4 (KDP) crystal with excellent optical properties is a very important element of inertial confinement fusion (ICF) device. However, KDP crystal surface micro-defects severely reduce the crystal laser damage threshold, affecting the crystal service life. In this paper, Gaussian repaired pit is used to replace the crystal surface micro-defects, in order to improve the laser damage resistance of the KDP crystal with surface micro-defects. At first, the physical model of Gaussian repaired pit is built by Fourier model method, and the accuracy of the method is analyzed. It is found that the calculation error can be reduced by increasing the product of the width-period ratio and the truncation constant of the repaired pit. The calculation results about the physical model of Gaussian repaired pit show that the light intensity distribution within the crystal is symmetrical, and there are evidently enhanced light intensity regions in the crystal. Meanwhile, the maximum relative intensity inside the KDP crystal decreases gradually with the increase of the width of the Gaussian repaired pit. Secondly, the Gaussian repaired pits with different widths and the same depth of 20 μm are processed by micro-milling. Their surfaces are very smooth and present the ductile cutting state under the microscope. Finally, the laser damage threshold of the Gaussian repaired pits on the surface of the KDP crystal sample is measured by a 3 ω, 6-ns laser. The results showthat the maximum threshold of the Gaussian repaired pits is 3.12 J/cm2, which is 60% higher than the threshold of initial damage point, and the laser damage threshold increases with the increase of the width of the Gaussian repaired pit.  相似文献

We study a negative donor center, a neutral donor in a spherical Gaussian potential quantum dot by using the matrix diagonalization of Hamiltonian within the effective-mass approximation. We calculate the energy E( D^-) as functions of Gaussian potential size and depth, the same calculations as performed with the parabolic approximation. The dependence of the ground state of the neutral shallow donor and the negatively charged donor on the dot size and the potential depth is investigated.  相似文献

Two basic motivations for an upgraded JLab facility are the needs: to determine the essential nature of light-quark confinement and dynamical chiral symmetry breaking (DCSB); and to understand nucleon structure and spectroscopy in terms of QCD's elementary degrees of freedom. During the next ten years a programme of experiment and theory will be conducted that can address these questions. We present a Dyson- Schwinger equation perspective on this effort with numerous illustrations, amongst them: an interpretation of string~breaking; a symmetry-preserving truncation for mesons; the nucleon's strangeness σ-term; and the neutron's charge distribution.  相似文献

In the recent experiment on the HL-2A tokamak,two types of improved confinement regimes have been achieved in different configurations.One is the improved confinement regime in limiter configuration during electron cyclotron resonant heating (ECRH),characterized by a sharp decrease in H α emission accompanied by an increase in the total radiation of plasma,the line averaged electron density and the stored energy of plasma.The other is high confinement regime (H-mode) in divertor configuration during a combination of ECRH and Neutral beam injection (NBI) heating,characterized with edge localized modes (ELMs) besides the features mentioned above.The ELMs are found to be localized on the plasma edge (r/a ≥ 0.8),causing average losses of particles and stored energy in the ranges of about 1-3% and 3-5% respectively during a single ELM event.So far,the ELMs observed in the HL-2A are type III ELMs with low amplitude and high repetition frequency in a range from 200 Hz to 350 Hz.An investigation of the radiated power density profiles shows that radiative cooling effect plays a significant role in the transition back to the L-mode and the triggering of ELM events.  相似文献

In the presence of Gaussian white noise, we study the properties of voltage-controlled oscillator neuron model and discuss the effects of the additive and multiplicative noise. It is found that the additive noise can accelerate and counterwork the firing of neuron, which depends on the value of central frequency of neuron itself, while multiplicative noise can induce the continuous change or mutation of membrane potential.  相似文献

The framework of a phenomenological quark-antiquark potential(Coulomb plus linear confinement)model with a Gaussian wave function is used for detailed study of masses of the ground, orbitally and radially excited states of heavy-light Qq,(Q=c,q=u/d,s) mesons. We incorporate a O(1/m) correction to the potential energy term and relativistic corrections to the kinetic energy term of the Hamiltonian. The spin-hyperfine, spin-orbit and tensor interactions incorporating the effect of mixing are employed to obtain the pseudoscalar, vector, radially and orbitally excited state meson masses. The Regge trajectories in the(J,M~2) and(nr,M~2) planes for heavy-light mesons are investigated with their corresponding parameters. Leptonic and radiative leptonic decay widths and corresponding branching ratios are computed. The mixing parameters are also estimated. Our predictions are in good agreement with experimental results as well as lattice and other theoretical models.  相似文献

在惯性约束聚变实验的过程诊断研究中,采用环形编码孔径成像技术可以同时获得高的空间分辨力和时间分辨力。获得高的空间分辨力的关键之一是如何准确地获得目标的点扩展函数。通常采用直接投影法。但这种方法忽略了X射线的衍射效应,因此限制了分辨力的提高。依据光的标量衍射理论,考虑X射线的衍射效应,导出了环形编码孔径的点扩展函数。并在此基础上制作了维纳滤波器。在激光等离子体重点实验室,用内直径为250μm,外直径为260μm的环形孔径板,对惯性约束聚变(ICF)的过程进行成像实验,得到了靶标的编码图像。采用以衍射为基础的维钠滤波器进行重构,获得的重构图像明显的优于用直接投影法得到的结果。  相似文献

介绍了三高斯拟合技术,首先用单高斯选点拟合了Hα线形分布的远翼,由谱线的多谱勒展宽得出等离子体离子温度为170 eV,再对剩余量进行双高斯拟合,从多谱勒频移求出反射和解吸粒子入射速度分别为3.0×104 m/s和1×104 m/s,从谱线辐射强度推出再循环粒子由60%反射粒子和40%解吸粒子组成。在简化模型下讨论了粒子的输运行为,算出了氢原子密度、体发射系数和粒子约束时间的分布,均与实验结果相符。分析了粒子入射速度大小对粒子约束时间的影响,结果表明,正常放电下,HT 6M托卡马克粒子约束时间在4~8 ms;反射粒子的速度大小直接决定粒子约束时间的大小和空间分布。  相似文献

Starting with a Gaussian variational ansatz, we predict anisotropic bright solitons in quasi-2D Bose-Einstein condensates consisting of atoms with dipole moments polarized perpendicular to the confinement direction. Unlike isotropic solitons predicted for the moments aligned with the confinement axis [Phys. Rev. Lett. 95, 200404 (2005)10.1103/PhysRevLett.95.200404], no sign reversal of the dipole-dipole interaction is necessary to support the solitons. Direct 3D simulations confirm their stability.  相似文献

Recent progress of lower hybrid (LH) experiments with new graphite limiters configuration in the HT-7 tokamak is presented. The lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) efficiency can be determined by fitting based on experimental data. Improved particle confinement was observed via LHCD (PLHW>300 kW) characterized by the particle confinement time τp increased about 1.56 times. It is found that runaways are suppressed during loop voltage is decreasing at the flat-top phase of LH discharges. The main limitations of pulse length are presented in long-pulse experiments with new limiter configuration.  相似文献

The purpose of the present paper is to study the entropy hs(Ф) of a quantum dynamical systems Ф = ( L, s, Ф), where s is a bayessian state on an orthomodular lattice L. Having introduced the notion of entropy hs( Ф, A) of partition A of a Boolean algebra B with respect to a state s and a state preserving homomorphism Ф, we prove a few results on that, define the entropy of a dynamical system hs(Ф), and show its invariance. The concept of sufficient families is also given and we establish that hs (Ф) comes out to be equal to the supremum of hs (Ф,A), where A varies over any sufficient family. The present theory has then been extended to the quantum dynamical system ( L, s, Ф), which as an effect of the theory of commutators and Bell inequalities can equivalently be replaced by the dynamical system (B, s0, Ф), where B is a Boolean algebra and so is a state on B.  相似文献

The Eotvos experiment on the verification of equivalence between inertial mass and gravitational mass of a body is famous for its accuracy. A question is, however, can these experimental results be applied to the case of a physical space in general relativity, where the space coordinates could be arbitrary? It is pointed out that it can be validly applied because it has been proven that Einstein's equivalence principle for a physical space must have a frame of reference with the Euclidean-like structure. Will claimed further that such an overall accuracy can be translated into an accuracy of the equivalence between inertial mass and each type of energy. It is shown that, according to general relativity, such a claim is incorrect. The root of this problem is due to an inadequate understanding of special relativity that produced the famous equation E=mc^2, which must be understood in terms of energy conservation. Concurrently, it is pointed out that this error is a problem in Will's book, ‘Theory and Experiment in Gravitational Physics'.  相似文献

The atomic and electronic structures of T1 and In on Si(111) surfaces are investigated using the firstprinciples total energy calculations. Total energy optimizations show that the energetically favored structure is 1/3 ML T1 adsorbed at the T4 sites on Si(111) surfaces. The adsorption energy difference of one T1 adatom between (√3 × √3) and (1 × 1) is less than that of each In adatom. The DOS indicates that TI 6p and Si 3p electrons play a very important role in the formation of the surface states. It is concluded that the bonding of TI adatoms on Si(111) surfaces is mainly polar covalent, which is weaker than that of In on Si(111). So T1 atom is more easy to be migrated than In atom in the same external electric field and the structures of T1 on Si(111) is prone to switch between (√3 × √3) and (1 × 1).  相似文献
