Quantum states of light, such as squeezed states or entangled states, can be used to make measurements (metrology), produce images, and sense objects with a precision that far exceeds what is possible classically, and also exceeds what was once thought to be possible quantum mechanically. The primary idea is to exploit quantum effects to beat the shot-noise limit in metrology and the Rayleigh diffraction limit in imaging and sensing. Quantum optical metrology has received a boost in recent years with an influx of ideas from the rapidly evolving field of optical quantum information processing. Both areas of research exploit the creation and manipulation of quantum-entangled states of light. We will review some of the recent theoretical and experimental advances in this exciting new field of quantum optical metrology, focusing on examples that exploit a particular two-mode entangled photon state – the High-N00N state.  相似文献

量子计算和量子模拟在过去的几年里发展迅速,今后涉及多量子比特的量子计算和量子模拟将是一个发展的重点.本文回顾了该领域的主要进展,包括量子多体模拟、量子计算、量子计算模拟器、量子计算云平台、量子软件等内容,其中量子多体模拟又涵盖量子多体动力学、时间晶体及多体局域化、量子统计和量子化学等的模拟.这些研究方向的回顾是基于对现阶段量子计算和量子模拟研究特点的考虑,即量子比特数处于中等规模而量子操控精度还不具有大规模逻辑门实现的能力,研究处于基础科研和实用化的过渡阶段,因此综述的内容主要还是希望管窥今后的发展.  相似文献

Quantum planes, which correspond to all one-parameter solutions of Quantum Yang-Baxter Equation (QYBE) for the two-dimensional case of GL-groups, are summarized and their geometrical interpretations are given. It is shown that the quantum dual plane is associated with an exotic solution of QYBE and the well-known quantum h-plane may be regarded as the quantum analog of the flag (or fiber) plane. Contractions of the quantum supergroup G L q (12) and corresponding quantum superspace C q (12) are considered in Cartesian basis. The contracted quantum superspace C h (12);) is interpreted as the non-commutative analog of the superspace with the fiber odd part.  相似文献

量子信道中不可避免存在的噪声将扭曲被传输的信息,对通信造成危害。目前克服量子信道噪声的较好方案是量子避错码(QEAC)。将量子避错码思想用于量子密钥分发,能有效克服信道中的噪声,且无需复杂的系统。用六光子构造了量子避错码,提出了一种丛于六光子避错码的量子密钥分发(QDK)方案。以提高量子密钥分发的量子比特效率和安全性为前提,对六光子避错码的所有可能态进行组合,得到一种六光子避错码的最优组合方法,可将两比特信息编码在一个态中,根据测肇结果和分组信息进行解码,得到正确信息的平均概率为7/16。与最近的基于四光子避错码的克服量子信道噪声的量子密钥分发方案相比,该方案的量子比特效率提高了16.67%,密钥分发安全性足它的3.5倍。  相似文献

量子物理是当代科学发展的基石,多次引发高技术革命.它与信息科学结合,产生了交叉学科——量子信息,为突破计算机芯片的尺度极限提供了全新的解决思路.自1987年起,文章作者及其合作者对量子开系统理论、量子退相干及其相关的量子物理基本问题进行了系统的探索,契合了最近10年量子信息研究的快速发展.文章首先结合上世纪70年代末彭桓武先生关于量子开系统(阻尼谐振子的量子化)的重要研究工作,介绍了量子开系统的基本概念及其研究的科学意义,同时简略介绍了文章作者及其合作者在量子开系统理论及其在量子信息应用方面的系列研究工作.  相似文献

Quantum key distribution is a practically implementable cryptographic communication methodology from the hardware and software point of view. It is an information‐theoretic secure method for transmitting keys to remote partners practicing quantum communication. After examining various protocols from the most basic on, BBM92, DPSK, SARG04 and MDI (Measurement Device Independent) protocols are described in view of targeting the longest possible communication distance with the highest secret key bitrate. How any protocol can be optimized with respect to distance is discussed by analyzing the various steps impacting hardware and software that are developed, starting from the underlying assumptions proper to every protocol and ending with the corresponding performance in each case.  相似文献

The interference has been measured by the visibility in two-level systems,which,however,does not work for multi-level systems.We generalize a measure of the interference based on decoherence process,consistent with the visibility in qubit systems.By taking cluster states as examples,we show in the one-way quantum computation that the gate fidelity is proportional to the interference of the measured qubit and is inversely proportional to the interference of all register qubits.We also find that the interference increases with the number of the computing steps.So we conjecture that the interference may be the source of the speedup of the one-way quantum computation.  相似文献

The FRT quantum Euclidean spaces O q N are formulated in terms of Cartesian generators. The quantum analogs of N-dimensional Cayley-Klein spaces are obtained by contractions and analytical continuations. Noncommutative constant-curvature spaces are introduced as spheres in the quantum Cayley-Klein spaces. For N = 5 part of them is interpreted as the noncommutative analogs of (1+3) space-time models. As a result the quantum (anti) de Sitter, Minkowski, Newton, Galilei kinematics with the fundamental length and the fundamental time are suggested. Counterfactual quantum cryptography,recently proposed by Noh,is featured with no transmission of signal particles.This exhibits evident security advantages,such as its immunity to the well-known photon-number-splitting attack.In this paper,the theoretical security of counterfactual quantum cryptography protocol against the general interceptresend attacks is proved by bounding the information of an eavesdropper Eve more tightly than in Yin’s proposal [Phys.Rev.A 82 042335(2010)].It is also shown that practical counterfactual quantum cryptography implementations may be vulnerable when equipped with imperfect apparatuses,by proving that a negative key rate can be achieved when Eve launches a time-shift attack based on imperfect detector efficiency.  相似文献

Motivated by Ying' work on automata theory based on quantum logic (Ying, M. S. (2000). International Journal of Therotical Physics, 39(4): 985–996; 39(11): 2545–2557) and inspired by the close relationship between the automata theory and the theory of formal grammars, we have established a basic framework of grammar theory on quantum logic and shown that the set of l-valued quantum regular languages generated by l-valued quantum regular grammars coincides with the set of l-valued quantum languages recognized by l-valued quantum automata.  相似文献

Quantum machines     
We discuss quantum information processing machines. We start with single purpose machines that either redistribute quantum information or identify quantum states. We then move on to machines that can perform a number of functions, with the function they perform being determined by a program, which is itself a quantum state. Examples of both deterministic and probabilistic programmable machines are given, and we conclude with a discussion of the utility of quantum programs.  相似文献

Quantum Fisher information is related to the problem of parameter estimation.Recently,a criterion has been proposed for entanglement in multipartite systems based on quantum Fisher information.This paper studies the behaviours of quantum Fisher information in the quantum kicked top model,whose classical correspondence can be chaotic.It finds that,first,detected by quantum Fisher information,the quantum kicked top is entangled whether the system is in chaotic or in regular case.Secondly,the quantum Fisher information is larger in chaotic case than that in regular case,which means,the system is more sensitive in the chaotic case.  相似文献
