Based on the Collins integral formula, the analytic expressions of propagation of the coherent and the incoherent off-axis Hermite--cosh--Gaussian (HChG) beam combinations with rectangular symmetry passing through a paraxial first-order optical system are derived, and corresponding numerical examples are given and analysed. The resulting beam quality is discussed in terms of power in the bucket (PIB). The study suggests that the resulting beam cannot keep the initial intensity shape during the propagation and the beam quality for coherent mode is not always better than that for incoherent mode. Reviewing the numerical simulations of Gaussian, Hermite--Gaussian (HG) and cosh--Gaussian (ChG) beam combinations indicates that the Hermite polynomial exerts a chief influence on the irradiance profile of composite beam and far field power concentration.  相似文献

In this letter, the axial distribution of Gaussian beam limited by a hard-edged aperture is studied. We theoretically analyze the axial diffraction of Gaussian beam limited by a hard-edged aperture, and give the simpler formulas of the axial diffraction intensities of Gaussian beam in Fresnel diffraction field and Fraunhofer diffraction field. The corresponding numerical calculation of axial diffraction intensity distribution of Gaussian beam with different wave waist is provided and the evolution of the diffraction distribution with the wave waist of Gaussian beam is explained. As the especial cases of the truncated Gaussian beam,the Gaussian beam in free space and the parallel light limited by the aperture are discussed too, and the system parameters of the truncated Gaussian beam which can cause it to equal to these cases are given.The theoretical results conform to the numerical analysis.  相似文献

对高斯光束在硬边孔径限制下的衍射进行了详细的理论研究,就不同口径的圆孔限制下高斯光束在菲涅耳衍射区和夫琅禾费衍射区的分布进行了理论分析,从而得到了孔径受限高斯光束的横向以及轴向的衍射公式,进而对高斯光束在不同衍射区域内衍射光场分布形状随孔径尺寸变化时的演化规律进行了数值计算,并对小口径光阑受限的高斯光束的衍射与平行光经同尺寸光阑的衍射进行了比较。结果表明在较小口径下,两者的分布基本一致。得到的孔径光阑限制下高斯光束的传输规律为高斯光束在自由空间光通信和光学超分辨中的应用提供了理论基础。  相似文献

We study the Fresnel diffraction of Gaussian beam truncated by one circular aperture, and give the general analytic expression of the Fresnel diffraction of truncated Gaussian beam denoted by Bessel functions. Then the characteristic of the axial diffraction fluctuation and the influence of the caliber of the circular aperture and the wave waist of Gaussian beam on the diffraction distributions are discussed, respectively. Through the numerical calculations, the characteristics of the transverse diffraction are presented and the relationship of the fluctuation of the transverse diffraction profile and the position of the axial point is shown. The physical origin of the fluctuation of Fresnel diffraction intensities of truncated Gaussian beam is expressed in terms of Fresnel half-zone theory. These phenomena and the conclusions are important for the measurement of the parameters of the beam and its applications.  相似文献

为了研究用畸变透镜孔产生的不同束型的精细激光束,先由基尔霍夫衍射公式得到高斯光束微圆孔衍射积分式,然后再经适当推理得到高斯光束通过畸变透镜孔的菲涅耳衍射的计算式,进而探讨了畸变透镜孔菲涅耳衍射对高斯光束进行束型转变的原理。用Matlab软件进行计算机模拟实验,表明了这种方法和技术是可行的。这种激光束整形技术可产生用于微细加工的不同束型的精细激光束。  相似文献

The diffractive axicon for the illumination with Gaussian beams is designed. The stationary phase method and the numerical calculation are used to analyze the diffraction integral describing the diffraction field. It is shown that with the Gaussian beam illumination of a smaller beam radius, the axicon can produces the uniform-axial-intensity with the lower oscillation frequency and the smaller oscillation amplitude. In addition, with the Gaussian beam illumination of a suitable beam radius, we can achieve the more uniform central-core width.  相似文献

The generation of megagauss magnetic field due to the time dependent part of the ponderomotive force of a self-focused Gaussian laser beam indicent on a plasma has been studied. Defocusing of the laser beam becomes possible due to diffraction divergence in the case of a weakly nonlinear medium. The influence of defocusing of a laser beam on magnetic field generation has also been investigated. It is found that the magnitude of the magnetic field due to self focusing of the beam is enhanced and is comparable with the observed values, while there is a reduction in the magnitude of the magnetic field when the beam defocuses due to diffraction divergence in the presence of weak nonlinearity.  相似文献

In this paper, diffraction pattern of a vortex carrying beam with a Gaussian background has been studied by using Fresnel-Kirchhoff diffraction integral, in the presence of third-order coma. Results of intensity distribution and encircled energy at the Gaussian plane have been presented for two values of the topological charge. Positional shift and splitting of the dark core have been investigated in detail. It is noticed that the diffraction pattern of a beam with double topological charge is affected more by comatic aberration in comparison to the beam with single topological charge. We have also verified our results by using the optical transfer function approach. Propagation of an apertured Gaussian background vortex beam through a π-phase shifter has also been studied for two values of the topological charge.  相似文献

基于傅里叶-贝塞尔变换计算高斯光束垂直入射环形光栅时的衍射远场分布,分析了其衍射远场光强分布的一般规律,并与平面波入射时的情况进行了比较.计算结果表明:当光栅半径为1.5倍高斯光束束腰半径时, 随着光栅环数的增加,中央亮斑半值全宽先减小后增大、中央亮斑所包含的功率占总功率的比值减小、中央主极大光强值减小,三者的变化趋势与平面波入射时的趋势一致;中央亮斑半径、次极大光强值变化趋势与平面波入射时的变化趋势不同.当环数小于5时,高斯光束经过环形光栅的衍射场光强变化无规律;当环数大于10后两种情况下衍射场光强变化都不明显;当环数趋于无穷时中央亮斑半径、中央亮斑半值全宽、次极大光强值趋于圆孔衍射(环数等于1)时的值,中央亮斑所包含的功率占总功率的比值约等于圆孔衍射时的1/2,中央主极大光强值约等于圆孔衍射时的1/4.  相似文献

 以I类匹配KDP晶体中高斯光束的二倍频为例,对衍射和离散两种因素对二次谐波转换效率的影响作数值模拟计算。结果表明,衍射的影响非常小。当入射超高斯光束口径非常小时,离散效应的存在将大大降低倍频转换效率。随着入射光束口径的增大,离散效应的影响相应地减小,甚至可以忽略。  相似文献

制备了一种新型有机聚合物(聚吡咯甲烯)与聚乙烯醇的非线性光学复合薄膜,在该样品的激光纵向扫描实验中发现,随着样品相对于高斯光束束腰位置的不同,产生了两种不同结构的同心衍射环,理论分析表明,该现象可以用光克尔效应和热光非线性效应共同作用下的附加相位孔对入射光束的衍射行为解释,从菲涅耳-基尔霍夫衍射积分公式出发,建立了非线性光学介质对高斯光束的衍射模型,通过数值积分,得到了与实验现象符合的计算结果。  相似文献

环形光束的锥形衍射效应对于微粒的操控具有重要的应用价值.本文建立了环状高斯光束的锥形衍射模型,并基于Berry理论给出了线偏振态下环形光束锥形衍射出射光场的计算公式.理论仿真了环状光锥形衍射出射光场的偏振特性,得出环光锥形衍射出射光场的内、外亮环具有相互正交的偏振分布特性.搭建了线偏振态下环状高斯光锥形衍射的实验系统,实验验证了出射光场的偏振特性.针对环形光束锥形衍射出射光场具备的偏振特性,设计了一种组合偏振片,理论和实验研究了该组合偏振片对环光锥形衍射出射光场的调控.结果表明,随着组合偏振片方位角的变化,锥形衍射出射光场的内、外环强度发生周期性的变化.  相似文献

A generalized formula of hollow Gaussian beams through the first-order misaligned ABCD systems is derived by using the generalized diffraction integral formula. It is shown that the hollow Gaussian beam passing through the misaligned system becomes a decentred hollow Gaussian beam. The propagation properties of the output beam are investigated when it propagates through a simple misaligned lens system. These results provide a powerful theoretical tool for applications of optical traps.  相似文献

Based on the generalized diffraction integral formula for treating the propagation of a laser beam through a misaligned paraxial ABCD optical system in the cylindrical coordinate system, analytical formula for a circular flattened Gaussian beam propagating through such optical system is derived. Furthermore, an approximate analytical formula is derived for a circular flattened Gaussian beam propagating through an apertured misaligned ABCD optical system by expanding the hard aperture function as a finite sum of complex Gaussian functions. The effect of the Gaussian beam width on the focusing properties of the chainlike Gaussian beam formed upon diffraction of laser radiation on a binary amplitude mask is studied. It is found that a decrease in the Gaussian beam width increases the sizes of focal spots and the focus depth, decreases the intensity in the focuses, and does not affect the focus position.  相似文献

We propose a simple optical device to convert a Gaussian laser beam into a neat semi-Gaussian laser beam without any diffraction fringe by using a spatial light modulator and a thin, sharp blade, and numerically calculate the diffracted, relative intensity distributions of both the semi-Gaussian laser field and the semi-Gaussian, pseudo-thermal light. We also study the dependence of the border width of the semi-Gaussian beam on the waist of the Gaussian beam. Our study shows that the proposed scheme can be used to cancel all diffraction fringes from both the straight edge of the blade and a finite lens aperture in all the planes vertical to the z axis and obtain a neat semi-Gaussian beam without any diffraction fringe, and find that the border width wB of the generated semi-Gaussian beam is not dependent on the waist of the incident Gaussian beam.  相似文献
