本文数值研究了长脉冲抽运光子晶体光纤四波混频和超连续谱的产生.依据准连续波近似下的相位匹配条件和能量守恒定律,能够理论上确定在光子晶体光纤正常色散区抽运时,四波混频效应产生的信号光和空闲光波长;以及在光纤反常色散区抽运时,调制不稳现象产生的两个对称旁瓣波长.利用自适应分步傅里叶法,定量地模拟了利用波长为1064 nm的亚纳秒激光器抽运两种不同色散特性的光子晶体光纤四波混频效应和超连续谱的产生,模拟结果与实验结果符合非常好. 关键词: 光子晶体光纤 超连续谱 四波混频 自适应分步傅里叶法  相似文献

为了研究光子品体光纤在800 nm波段关联光子对的频谱特性.基于自发四波混频得到了脉冲抽运光产生的光子对的相位匹配函数和频谱甬数.数值计算、证明闲频光中心波长取796 nm时的频谱对称性最好;在假设闲频光频率为单一频率的前提下,利用简化频谱函数的表达式,通过改变光子晶体光纤零色散点色散斜率和非线性系数,以及抽运光的入射中心波长,进一步讨论了抽运光和光子晶体光纤参数变化对信号光和闲频光频谱函数的影响及变化规律.提出了有利于产生高纯度纠缠光子对的光纤参数和抽运光参数,结果对于在800 nm波段发展光子晶体光纤纠缠光子源的实验具有指导和参考意义.  相似文献

使用脉宽为1.6ps的脉冲光抽运0.6m长的光子晶体光纤,测量由光纤中自发四波混频过程所产生光子对的频谱,并利用所获得的相位匹配数据确定了待测光纤的色散。当抽运光的中心波长以1nm的步长,在1037~1047nm的范围内变化时,通过可调谐滤波器和单光子探测器测量光子晶体光纤产生的信号和闲频光子对的频谱,从而获得11组四波混频相位匹配数据。然后使用阶跃有效折射率模型对所获得的相位匹配数据进行拟合,得出待测光子晶体光纤的纤芯半径和包层空气比的有效值分别为0.949μm和29.52%,并在此基础上计算了光纤的色散及全频谱范围内的四波混频相位匹配曲线。实验结果显示,曲线预测值与实测值之间误差小于0.1%。  相似文献

对光子晶体光纤包层3个空气孔之间节区的传光特性进行了分析, 对比了纤芯与包层节区传光的模场面积、非线性系数及色散特性, 得到光子晶体光纤包层节区具有小芯、高非线性的特点.在包层空气孔较大的情况下, 得到了双零色散曲线.根据色散曲线, 分析了色散波产生的相位匹配特性, 得到了色散波中心波长随抽运波长及功率的变化规律.制备出了所设计的光子晶体光纤, 实验得到了在可见光及红外大于300 nm的宽带色散波, 并给出了色散波随抽运波长及功率的变化规律.实验和理论分析结果一致, 为波长变换及超连续宽带光源的研究奠定了基础. 关键词: 光子晶体光纤 色散波 相位匹配 非线性  相似文献

利用多极法对光子晶体光纤的色散特性进行了模拟,通过结构参数的精确设计,得到了具有三个零色散波长的单模光纤,获得了色散值极低的超平坦色散曲线。对三个零色散波长光子晶体光纤特殊的相位匹配特性进行了研究,在不同光纤结构参数下,得到了相位匹配波长随抽运波长及抽运功率的变化规律,分析了不同色散曲线对应的相位匹配波长特点。三个零色散波长光纤能实现两个反常色散区之间光孤子的高效波长变换,可以获得6个新的四波混频相位匹配波长,产生更多光子对,为高效、多波长四波混频的产生及超连续谱的研究提供了新的物理环境。  相似文献

与传统光纤不同,光子晶体光纤可以具有多个零色散波长,在四波混频光谱中,具有更丰富的相位匹配特性。目前很多文献报道了光子晶体光纤非线性光学特性的实验结果,但对其产生机理及光谱的变化规律缺乏详细的理论分析。为此对光纤中四波混频原理进行了分析,给出了高增益的相位匹配条件。利用多极法计算了光子晶体光纤的非线性系数及色散特性。对具有多个零色散波长光子晶体光纤的相位失配特性进行了分析,得到了相位匹配波长随泵浦波长及泵浦功率的变化规律。给出了相位匹配曲线,分析了不同色散曲线的相位匹配波长特点,两个零色散波长光子晶体光纤,在四波混频光谱中将激发出四个新的波长。实验得到了两个零色散波长光子晶体光纤的四波混频光谱,与理论分析一致,验证了相位匹配理论的可靠性。多个零色散波长光纤,能产生丰富的相位匹配曲线,会出现更多的四波混频波长,可以有效的控制光孤子及超短脉冲的四波混频及共振散射产生的光谱特性。为光子晶体光纤中基于四波混频的波长变换及超连续谱的研究提供了理论指导。  相似文献

在远离光子晶体光纤零色散波长的正常色散区入射飞秒脉冲,实验产生了一对由四波混频引起的信号波带和闲频波带,及一对由脉冲内拉曼散射和非孤子辐射引起的孤子和色散波带,并观察到功率饱和现象.利用有限元法理论模拟了光纤的色散和非线性特性,用四波混频的相位匹配条件模拟了光纤在满足相位匹配条件下所产生的信号波带和闲频波带出现的可能位置,并与实验结果符合得很好.结果表明:即使在光子晶体光纤的正常色散区抽运激光脉冲亦可以产生四波混频和孤子效应;研究发现四波混频的产生是由四阶色散参量引起的;并进一步从理论上解释了孤子及色散波的产生原因.  相似文献

利用全固化单频Nd∶YVO4激光器抽运由periodically poled lithium niobate(PPLN)准相位匹配晶体组成的光学参量振荡器,通过调节晶体的温度,在信号模与闲置模近简并的情况下,完成了抽运场与两个亚谐波模在腔内同时共振,实现了光学参量振荡器的极低阈值运转(阈值为1.2mW);当抽运功率为阈值抽运功率的2.8倍时,观察到反射抽运光的正交位相压缩,压缩度达1.1dB.数值计算与实验结果一致  相似文献

研究了光子晶体光纤中的四波混频效应及其波长转换.采用长度为25 m的高非线性色散平坦光子晶体光纤,当泵浦功率为19.8 dBm时,得到100 nm的转换带宽和-20 dB的最大转换效率.实验结果表明,当信号功率低于四波混频阈值时,两路不同波长的信号同时输入产生的四波混频效应互不影响.  相似文献

A photonic crystal fibre (PCF) with zero-dispersion wavelength around 800 nm is designed and fabricated. Simulated results show that the zero-dispersion wavelength of fundamental mode for this PCF is at 826nm, and phase-matched four-wave mixing can be achieved in fundamental mode. Using 20ors Ti:sapphire laser with central wavelength at 810nm as pump, the anti-Stokes line around 610hm & generated efficiently. The output signal has a Gaussian-like profile, which indicates that the anti-Stokes signal is in the fundamental mode of the PCF. The energy of anti-Stokes signal is higher than that of residual pump laser and the maximum ratio of the anti-Stokes signal to the pump component in the output spectrum is estimated to be 1.2.  相似文献

Using the photonic crystal fiber (PCF) with the zero dispersion wavelength of 848 nm for the fundamental mode, the efficient anti-Stokes signal generations from 645 to 543 nm are realized by pumping in the normal dispersion region. When the pump average power increases from 200 to 500 mW, the output power of the anti-Stokes signal increases 8.46 times, the power ratio of the anti-Stokes signal at 543 nm to the residual pump is calculated as 22.6:1, and the conversion efficiency η in the experiment can be up to 46%. Moreover, good optical beam quality of the anti-Stokes signal can be achieved.  相似文献

Using the photonic crystal fiber (PCF) with zero dispersion wavelengths of the fundamental mode and the second-order mode at 985 nm and 885 nm designed and fabricated in our lab, the anti-Stokes signals from 586.5 to 558 nm are efficiently generated in the second-order mode. When the pump working wavelength λ 0 increases from 830 to 880 nm and the input average power P in reduces from 43 to 25 mW, the output power of anti-Stokes signal increases 1.76 times, the power ratio of anti-Stokes signal at 558 nm to the residual pump component at 880 nm is estimated as 5:1, and the maximal conversion efficiency P as/P p0 can be up to 36%. The possible reasons for the difference from theoretical results are discussed. The combined effects of the interval between the pump working wavelength and zero dispersion wavelength and the input power on the signal conversion process are analyzed.  相似文献

采用非临界相位匹配切割,尺寸4mm×4mm×20mm的磷酸钛氧铷(RTP)晶体作为非线性光学晶体,进行了半导体激光端面抽运Nd:YAG/RTP的内腔式光参量振荡获得人眼安全激光的实验研究。对比了不同声光调Q重复频率下的信号光输出特性。在10.5W的抽运功率和15kHz的重复频率下,获得了最高900mW的1.62μm人眼安全激光输出,光光转换效率达8.6%。1.62μm信号光和对应的1.06μm基频光的脉冲宽度分别为4.6和8.2ns。信号光中心波长在1618nm,谱线宽度小于0.5nm。  相似文献

We report a femtosecond optical parametric oscillator based on a periodically poled KTiOPO(4) crystal for which quasi-phase matching is achieved with a 24-microm poling period. The singly resonant parametric oscillator, synchronously pumped by a Ti:sapphire laser at a wavelength of 758 nm, generates a signal at 1200 nm and an idler at 2060 nm. The maximum signal power conversion efficiency of the device is 22% with a pump depletion of 69%. We tune the signal wavelength over a 200-nm band by changing the cavity length. In addition, pump wavelength tuning provides output tunability in the 1000-1235-nm range.  相似文献

In this paper, the wide difference frequency generation (DFG) tuning characteristics around 3.4 μm are investigated by using the index dispersion property of PPLN. With a ytterbium doped fiber laser (YDFL) and an erbium doped fiber laser (EDFL) as the fundamental light sources, our simulation results show that the quasi-phase matching (QPM) wavelength acceptance bandwidth (BW) for the pump is much larger than that for the signal. Although the positions of the broadened QPM pump bands vary with the poling period and the signal wavelength, the corresponding idler tuning ranges center around 3.4 μm. With a signal wavelength of 1.57 μm, an idler tuning range of greater than 170 nm is experimentally obtained in the 30 uniform grating PPLN. When the signal wavelength and the poling period are respectively changed to 1.55 and 29.50 μm, wide DFG tuning operations around 3.4 μm are also achieved with the crystal temperature adjusted to adapt the change.  相似文献

A diode-pumped 937 nm Nd:GGG laser operating on the quasi-three-level under direct pumping at wavelength of around 882 nm is demonstrated, and its performances are investigated. A maximum output power of 358 mW at 937 nm was achieved at absorbed pump power of 4.8 W. The optical-to-optical conversion efficiency and the slope efficiency relative to absorbed power were 7.5 and 11.2%, respectively.  相似文献

Using a photonic crystal fiber with a zero dispersion wavelength of the fundamental mode at 780 nm designed and fabricated in our lab, the ultraviolet and mid-infrared continua are generated by cross-phase modulation between red-shift solitons and blue-shift dispersive waves. The dependences of continuum on the pump power and wavelength are investigated. With the pump working at 820 nm, when the pump power increases from 300 to 500 mW, the bandwidths of ultraviolet and mid-infrared continua change from 80 to 140 nm and 100 to 200 nm, respectively. The wavelength of ultraviolet continuum is below 246 nm, and the wavelength of mid-infrared continuum exceeds 2500 nm. Moreover, the influences of pump power on wavelength and conversion efficiency of different parts of continua are also demonstrated.  相似文献

An index-guiding photonic crystal fibre with a small hole in the core is fabricated. The simulated results show that the first higher order mode possesses two zero-dispersion wavelengths, and the phase-matching is possible in the anomalous dispersion regime between the two zero-dispersion wavelengths. Using 200 fs Ti: sapphire laser of 820, 830 and 840nm, the anti-Stokes line around 530nm can be generated efficiently. The maximum ratio of the anti-Stokes signal energy to the pump component in the output spectrum is estimated to be 1.03 and the conversion efficiency is above 50%.  相似文献

针对大气CO_2浓度探测差分吸收激光雷达的应用需求,采用稳定环形腔和模式匹配设计,搭建了一套单纵模1 064nm激光泵浦的单谐振KTP晶体光参量振荡器,获得高斜率转换效率、基横模的2.05μm波长纳秒激光脉冲输出.在8字形环形行波稳定腔中,将2块II类相位匹配KTP晶体以走离补偿方式放置,在20Hz重复频率下,当泵浦单脉冲能量达到11mJ时,获得了单脉冲能量为2.4mJ的2.05μm信号光输出,脉宽约24ns,斜率效率达到53%.2.05μm信号光光束质量因子在x、y方向分别为1.3和1.2.  相似文献
