研究了一般形式类GHZ(Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger)态的共生纠缠度及非定域性, 给出了类GHZ纠缠态的共生纠缠、Mermin不等式和Svetlichny不等式的解析表达式, 并通过数值计算讨论纠缠与非定域性之间的关系. 结果表明, 类GHZ纠缠态的共生纠缠和两个Bell型不等式描述的非定域性是一致的, Bell算符及其参量, 能够明显展示量子态的非定域特性. 关键词: 量子信息 类GHZ态 共生纠缠 Bell型不等式  相似文献

We show that Bell inequalities can be violated in the macroscopic world. The macroworld violation is illustrated using an example involving connected vessels of water. We show that whether the violation of inequalities occurs in the microworld or the macroworld, it is the identification of nonidentical events that plays a crucial role. Specifically, we prove that if nonidentical events are consistently differentiated, Bell-type Pitowsky inequalities are no longer violated, even for Bohm's example of two entangled spin 1/2 quantum particles. We show how Bell inequalities can be violated in cognition, specifically in the relationship between abstract concepts and specific instances of these concepts. This supports the hypothesis that genuine quantum structure exists in the mind. We introduce a model where the amount of nonlocality and the degree of quantum uncertainty are parameterized, and demonstrate that increasing nonlocality increases the degree of violation, while increasing quantum uncertainty decreases the degree of violation.  相似文献

Dynamics of disentanglement as measured by the tripartite negativity and Bell nonlocality as measured by the extent of violation of the multipartite Bell-type inequalities are investigated in this work. It is shown definitively that for the initial three-qubit Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger (GHZ) or W class state preparation, the Bell nonlocality suffers sudden death under the influence of thermal reservoirs. Moreover, all the Bell-nonlocal states are useful for nonclassical teleportation, while there are entangled states that do not violate any Bell-type inequalities, but still yield nonclassical teleportation fidelity.  相似文献

Contemporary understanding of correlations in quantum many-body systems and in quantum phase transitions is based to a large extent on the recent intensive studies of entanglement in many-body systems. In contrast, much less is known about the role of quantum nonlocality in these systems, mostly because the available multipartite Bell inequalities involve high-order correlations among many particles, which are hard to access theoretically, and even harder experimentally. Standard, “theorist- and experimentalist-friendly” many-body observables involve correlations among only few (one, two, rarely three...) particles. Typically, there is no multipartite Bell inequality for this scenario based on such low-order correlations. Recently, however, we have succeeded in constructing multipartite Bell inequalities that involve two- and one-body correlations only, and showed how they revealed the nonlocality in many-body systems relevant for nuclear and atomic physics [Tura et al., Science 344 (2014) 1256]. With the present contribution we continue our work on this problem. On the one hand, we present a detailed derivation of the above Bell inequalities, pertaining to permutation symmetry among the involved parties. On the other hand, we present a couple of new results concerning such Bell inequalities. First, we characterize their tightness. We then discuss maximal quantum violations of these inequalities in the general case, and their scaling with the number of parties. Moreover, we provide new classes of two-body Bell inequalities which reveal nonlocality of the Dicke states—ground states of physically relevant and experimentally realizable Hamiltonians. Finally, we shortly discuss various scenarios for nonlocality detection in mesoscopic systems of trapped ions or atoms, and by atoms trapped in the vicinity of designed nanostructures.  相似文献

量子系统间的Bell非定域性是一种比量子纠缠更为严格的量子关联,它在刻画多体量子关联有着不可或缺的作用.类似于量子纠缠,在开放两量子比特和三量子比特系统中的Bell非定域性可能会出现猝死现象.本文建议了一个可供选择的方案即在热库环境中通过增加辅助粒子来调控两量子比特和三量子比特间的Bell非定域性动力学.研究发现:通过调节辅助粒子数目,不仅两量子比特和三量子比特系统的Bell非定域性可以避免猝死现象的发生,而且在长时间极限下它能维持在一个较高水平.论文得到的结果将对多体量子系统间量子关联的调控和避免猝死现象等相关研究有积极的指导意义.  相似文献

We investigate genuine multipartite entanglement in general multipartite systems. Based on the norms of the correlation tensors of a multipartite state under various partitions, we present an analytical and sufficient criterion for detecting the genuine four-partite entanglement. The results are generalized to arbitrary multipartite systems.

Entanglement, the Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen (EPR) paradox and Bell’s failure of local-hiddenvariable (LHV) theories are three historically famous forms of “quantum nonlocality”. We give experimental criteria for these three forms of nonlocality in multi-particle systems, with the aim of better understanding the transition from microscopic to macroscopic nonlocality. We examine the nonlocality of N separated spin J systems. First, we obtain multipartite Bell inequalities that address the correlation between spin values measured at each site, and then we review spin squeezing inequalities that address the degree of reduction in the variance of collective spins. The latter have been particularly useful as a tool for investigating entanglement in Bose–Einstein condensates (BEC). We present solutions for two topical quantum states: multi-qubit Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger (GHZ) states, and the ground state of a two-well BEC.  相似文献

We first present, by using exclusivity principle, a brief proof of the complementarity principle: the sum of squared expectation values of dichotomic(±1) mutually complementary observables can not be greater than 1. Then we prove that the complementarity principle yields tight quantum bounds of violations of N-qubit Svetlichny's inequalities.This result not only demonstrates that exclusivity principle can give tight quantum bound for certain type of genuine multipartite correlations, but also illustrates the subtle relationship between quantum complementarity and quantum genuine multipartite correlations.  相似文献

We study Bell-type inequalities of ordern with emphasis on the casen = 2 in the framework of the structure of an orthomodular lattice, which is a logicoalgebraic model of quantum mechanics. We give necessary and sufficient conditions for the validity of Bell-type inequalities of order 2. In particular, we study Bell-type inequalities in various structures connected with a Hilert space, and we give a characterization of Boolean algebras via the validity of certain Bell-type inequalities.  相似文献

Recently Seevinck and Uffink argued that genuine multipartite entanglement (GME) had not been established in the experiments designed to confirm GME. In this paper, we use the Bell-type inequalities introduced by Seevinck and Svetlichny [M. Seevinck, G. Svetlichny, Phys. Rev. Lett. 89 (2002) 060401] to investigate the GME problem in the one-dimensional transverse-field Ising model. We show explicitly that the ground states of this model violate the inequality when the external transverse magnetic field is weak, which indicate that the ground states in this model with weak magnetic field are fully entangled. Since this model can be simulated with nuclear magnetic resonance, our results provide a fresh approach to experimental test of GME.  相似文献

We present a method to derive Bell monogamy relations by connecting the complementarity principle with quantum nonlocality. The resulting monogamy relations are stronger than those obtained from the no-signaling principle alone. In many cases, they yield tight quantum bounds on the amount of violation of single and multiple qubit correlation Bell inequalities. In contrast with the two-qubit case, a rich structure of possible violation patterns is shown to exist in the multipartite scenario.  相似文献

We show that the rich structure of multipartite entanglement can be tested following a device-independent approach. Specifically we present Bell inequalities for distinguishing between different types of multipartite entanglement, without placing any assumptions on the measurement devices used in the protocol, in contrast with usual entanglement witnesses. We first address the case of three qubits and present Bell inequalities that can be violated by W states but not by Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger states, and vice versa. Next, we devise 'subcorrelation Bell inequalities' for any number of parties, which can provably not be violated by a broad class of multipartite entangled states (generalizations of Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger states), but for which violations can be obtained for W states. Our results give insight into the nonlocality of W states. The simplicity and robustness of our tests make them appealing for experiments.  相似文献

We introduce inequalities for multipartite entanglement, derived from the geometry of spin vectors. The criteria are constructed iteratively from cross and dot products between the spins of individual subsystems, each of which may have arbitrary dimension. For qubit ensembles the maximum violation for our inequalities is larger than that for the Mermin-Klyshko Bell inequalities, and the maximally violating states are different from Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger states. Our inequalities are violated by certain bound entangled states for which no Bell-type violation has yet been found.  相似文献

We introduce Bell-type inequalities allowing for nonlocality and entanglement tests with two cold heteronuclear molecules. The proposed inequalities are based on correlations between each molecule spatial orientation, an observable which can be experimentally measured with present day technology. Orientation measurements are performed on each subsystem at different times. These times play the role of the polarizer angles in Bell tests realized with photons. We discuss the experimental implementations of the proposed tests, which could also be adapted to other high dimensional quantum angular momenta systems.  相似文献

The problem of Bell-type inequalities on tensor products of quantum logics is studied. To formulate the problem the definition of tensor product used for sum logics by Hudson and Pulmannová is generalized to arbitrary orthomodular lattices and the existence of such product for lattices describing the simplest EPR-Bohm experiment is shown. By using an alternative, equivalent form of the CHSH inequality and making extensive use of the experimentally testable property of physical locality we determine the 64 different Bell-type inequalities (each one involving four joint probabilities) into which Hardy's nonlocality theorem can be cast. We demonstrate the existence of general constraints on distributed quantum correlations, which impose a trade-off on bipartite and multipartite entanglement at once. For all N-mode Gaussian states under permutation invariance, we establish exactly a monogamy inequality, stronger than the traditional one, that by recursion defines a proper measure of genuine N-partite entanglement. Strong monogamy holds as well for subsystems of arbitrary size, and the emerging multipartite entanglement measure is found to be scale invariant. We unveil its operational connection with the optimal fidelity of continuous variable teleportation networks.  相似文献
