运用规范势分解理论研究了Jackiw Pi模型中的自对偶方程, 得到一个新的自对偶方程, 发现了Chern Simons多涡旋解与拓扑荷之间的联系。为了研究Jackiw Pi模型多涡旋解的拓扑性质, 构造了一个新的静态自对偶Chern Simons多涡旋解,每个涡旋由5个实参数描述。 2个实参量用来描述涡旋的位置, 2个实参量用来描述涡旋的尺度和相位, 还有一个实参量描述涡旋的荷。 为了研究拓扑数对涡旋形状的影响, 给出了具有不同拓扑数的多涡旋解。 另外还研究了该涡旋解的磁通量的拓扑量子化。  相似文献

近来,四维欧氏空间E~4中的SU(2)瞬子解,即SU(2)无源规范场方程的具有有限作用量的自对偶或反自对偶解,引起了人们很大的兴趣.从数学上看,这是一组二阶非线性偏微分方程(无源的杨-Mills方程)的带有拓扑示性数(第二陈类或Pontrjgin类,又叫做SU(2)对偶荷或瞬子数)的孤子解.从物理上看,它对于研究非Abel规范理论的真空的结构以及真空隧道效应有极密切的关系,并且可能与微扰论的高阶行为有关.  相似文献

运用规范势分解理论研究了 Dunne Jackiw Pi Trugenberger 模型中的自对偶方程, 得到一个静态的自对偶Chern Simons多涡旋解, 每个涡旋由5个参数描述。 发现了自对偶解与拓扑数之间的关系, 而拓扑数由Brouwer度与Hopf指标确定。 同时, 也研究了该涡旋解的磁通量的拓扑量子化。The self dual equation and its solution in SU(2) Dunne Jackiw Pi Trugenberger model has Been discussed with special ansatz for the Lie algebraic structures of su(2) and gauge potential decomposition. We obtainer a new concrete self dual equation and found the relationship between SU(2) Chern Simons vortices and topological number which is determined by Hopf indices and Brouwer degrees of  mapping. (two positions, one scale, one phase per vortex and one charge of each vortex) m vortices solutions are discribed by using 5m parameters. 正压流体中,从有外源的准地转位涡方程出发采用摄动方法和时空伸长变换推导了具有β效应、地形效应和外源的强迫Rossby孤立波方程,得到孤立Rossby波振幅的演变满足带有地形与外源强迫的非齐次 Boussinesq方程的结论. 通过分析孤立Rossby波振幅的演变,指出β效应、地形效应以及外源都是诱导Rossby孤立波产生的重要因素,说明在地形强迫效应和非线性作用相平衡的假定下,Rossby孤立波振幅的演变满足非齐次Boussinesq方程,给出在切变基本气流下地形和正压流体中R  相似文献

本文从物理学的角度提出了Fredholm第一类积分方程数值解的可靠性概念,证明了在被称为Fabry-Perot干涉反演光谱技术中,当△σ=2/x,△σ=2/σ时,若取样点数为一个适当的奇数,那么积分方程的数值解是稳定的.但是进一步的计算机模拟实验表明,该数值解不是原积分方程的可靠解,因此,干涉反演光谱技术不能扩大Fabry-Perot干涉仪的光谱范围.理论分析表明,在前述条件下,积分方程数值解不可靠的根本原因在于该积分方程本身没有唯一解.  相似文献

The solutions of the nonlinear matrix equation in the Atiyah-Hitchin-Drifeld-Manin (AHDM) construction that determine the Yang-Mills self-dual fields with topological charge k = 4 for symplectic gauge groups are discussed. In the case of Sp(n), n > 2, it is possible to use a procedure that was proposed earlier for generating solutions with k = 3. It is shown that for SU(2) = Sp(1) the AHDM matrix can be generated by using cubic equation solutions with coefficients that depend on 8k — 3 parameters.  相似文献

We look for topological BPS solutions of an Abelian Maxwell–Higgs theory endowed by non-standard kinetic terms to both gauge and scalar fields. Here, the non-usual dynamics are controlled by two positive functions, G(|ϕ|) and w(|ϕ|), which are related to the self-dual scalar potential V(|ϕ|) of the model by a fundamental constraint. The numerical results we found present interesting new features, and contribute to the development of the recent issue concerning the study of generalized models and their applications.  相似文献

We apply the coadjoint orbit method to construct relativistic nonlinear sigma models (NLSM) on the target space of coadjoint orbits coupled with the Chern-Simons (CS) gauge field and we study self-dual solitons. When the target space is given by a Hermitian symmetric space (HSS), we find that the system admits self-dual solitons whose energy is Bogomol'nyi bounded from below by a topological charge. The Bogomol'nyi potential on the Hermitian symmetric space is obtained in the case when the maximal torus subgroup is gauged, and the self-dual equation in the CP(N − 1) case is explored. We also discuss the self-dual solitons in the case of noncompact SU(1, 1) and present a detailed analysis for the rotationally symmetric solutions.  相似文献

It is examined, if it is possible, to obtain solutions of the SU(2) Yang-Mills field equations in Minkowski space from Euclidean self-dual Yang-Mills fields by method proposed by Bernreuther. It is shown that the conditions, which are imposed on the Euclidean self-dual fields by this method, make every Euclidean self-dual field and the corresponding Minkowski space field obtained from it, equivalent to a pure gauge field, F ab 0.  相似文献

Nekrasov?s partition function is defined on a flat bundle of R4 over S1 called the Omega background. When the fibration is self-dual, the partition function is known to be equal to the topological string partition function, which computes scattering amplitudes of self-dual gravitons and graviphotons in type II superstring compactified on a Calabi-Yau manifold. We propose a generalization of this correspondence when the fibration is not necessarily self-dual.  相似文献

A topological action for self-dual connections over noncompact Riemann surfaces is proposed. TheJ formulation and the associated linear system are obtained. A new connection is constructed, depending on a Kac-Moody parameter such that its flatness condition is theJ-equation associated to the self-dual problem. An algorithm for constructing nonlinear σ-models in arbitrary space-dimensions m (m ≥ 2) is proposed and Hamiltonian estimates are found through the degree of mapping. The field models are constructed in general forms and the scaling-neutral models are shown to have exact soliton solutions which are (anti) self-dual when the corresponding topological charge is the degree of mapping. All known field models are shown to be particular cases of the general models proposed, which also give new models not investigated before.  相似文献

This paper is a continuation of an earlier study on the generalized Yang–Mills instantons over 4m-dimensional spheres. We will first present a discussion on the generalized Yang–Mills equations, the higher-order Chern–Pontryagin classes, c 2m , and the self-dual or anti-self-dual equations. We will then obtain some sharp asymptotic estimates for the self-dual or anti-self-dual equations within the Witten–Tchrakian framework which relates the integer value of c 2m to the number of vortices of the solution to a reduced 2-dimensional Abelian Higgs system over the Poincaré half-plane. We will prove that, indeed, for any integer N, there exists a 2|N|-parameter family of the generalized self-dual or anti-self-dual instantons realizing the topology c 2m =N. Furthermore, for the purpose of accommodating more general solutions, we establish a removable singularity theorem which enables us to extend the solutions obtained on a 4m-dimensional Euclidean space with an integral bound to the Hölder continuous solutions on a 4m-dimensional sphere.Research supported in part by PSC-CUNY Research Award 32Research supported in part by NSF under grants DMS–9972300 and DMS–9729992 through IAS  相似文献
