EXTINCTION AND PERMANENCE OF TWO COMPETING SPECIES WITH IMPULSES

In this paper we consider a nonautonomous two dimensional Lotka-Volterra system with impulsive effect. We prove that one of components is driven to extinction while the other stabilizes at a certain solution of an impulsive logistic equation under some conditions.     

PERIODIC SOLUTION TO A DELAYED PREDATOR-PREY SYSTEM WITH STAGE STRUCTURE AND DISPERSION

In this paper,a delayed two-species predator-prey system with stage structure and diffiusion is investigated. Based on the continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory,the suficient conditions for the existence of positive ω-periodic solution to the system are derived. The numerical simulation of an example verifies our main result.     

APPROXIMATE CONTROLLABILITY OF FRACTIONAL IMPULSIVE NEUTRAL STOCHASTIC INTEGRO-DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH NONLOCAL CONDITIONS AND INFINITE DELAY

This paper is concerned with the approximate controllability of nonlinear fractional impulsive neutral stochastic integro-differential equations with nonlocal conditions and infinite delay in Hilbert spaces under the assumptions that the corresponding linear system is approximately controllable. By the Krasnoselskii-Schaefer-type fixed point theorem and stochastic analysis theory, some sufficient conditions are given for the approximate controllability of the system. At the end, an example is given to illustrate the application of our result.     

INITIAL BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEMS FOR QUASILINEAR HYPERBOLIC-PARABOLIC COUPLED SYSTEMS IN HIGHER DIMENSIONAL SPACES

The initial bounary value problem for quasilinear hyperbolic-parabolic coupled systemsin higher dimensional spaces,which arises in many mechanical problems is considered.Underthe assumptions that the hyperbolic part of the coupled system is a quasilinear symmetrichyperbolic system and the parabolic part is a quasilinear parabolic system of second orderand suitble asstunptions of smoothness and compatibiliy conditions,the existence anduniqueness of local smooth solution is proved in the cases that the boundary of domain isnoncharacteristic or uniformly characteristic with respect to the hyperbolic part.As an application,the existence and uniqueness of local smooth solution for the initialboundary problem of the radiation hydrodynamic system,as well as of the viscous compressiblehydrodynamic system,with solid wall boundary,is obtained.     

ASYMPTOTIC PROPERTY FOR A LOTKA-VOLTERRA COMPETITIVE SYSTEM WITH DELAYS AND DISPERSION

An n-species nonautonomous Lotka-Volterra competition and diffusion model with time delays is investigated. It is shown that the system is uniformly persistent under some appropriate conditions, and by using the skill of constructing an appropriate Lyapunov function, the new sufficient conditions are obtained for the global asymptotic stability and the uniqueness of the positive periodic solution.     

The Existence and Uniqueness of Solutions to Systems of Second-order Ordinary Differential Equations Boundary Value Problem in Absract Space

In this paper, it is discussed by using cone and upper and lower solutions mono- tone iterative theory of mixed monotone operator that the bounary value problem is more generalized style to system of equations in the form of -u = f（t, u, v） -v = g（t, u, v） u（0） = u（1） = 0 v（0） = v（1） = 0 in abstract space. Moreover, it is obtained unique solutions for system of equations and error estimations between approximation iteration sequence and exact solution under more simpler conditions. Therefore, some new results which extend and improve the related known works in the literatures are obtained.     

EXISTENCE OF GLOBAL SMOOTH SOLUTION TO INITIAL BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM FOR A VISCOELASTIC MODEL WITH RELAXATION

This paper is concerned with the initial boundary value problem for a vis-coelastic model with relaxation. Under the only assumption that the C^0-norm of theinitial data is small, without smallness hypothesis for the C^1-norm, the existence of theglobal smooth solution to the corresponding initial boundary value problem is proved.The analysis is based on some a priori estimates obtained by the “maximum principle” offirst-order quasilinear hyperbolic system.     

CENTER CONDITIONS AND BIFURCATION OF LIMIT CYCLES FOR A CLASS OF FIFTH DEGREE SYSTEMS

The center conditions and bifurcation of limit cycles for a class of fifth degree systems are investigated. Two recursive formulas to compute singular quantities at infinity and at the origin are given. The first nine singular point quantities at infinity and first seven singular point quantities at the origin for the system are given in order to get center conditions and study bifurcation of limit cycles. Two fifth degree systems are constructed. One allows the appearance of eight limit cycles in the neighborhood of infinity,which is the first example that a polynomial differential system bifurcates eight limit cycles at infinity. The other perturbs six limit cycles at the origin.     

On the Nonlinear Matrix Equation X+ A *f1（X）A +B*f2（X）B=Q

In this paper, nonlinear matrix equations of the form X + A*f1 (X)A + B*f2 (X)B = Q are discussed. Some necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions for this equation are derived. It is shown that under some conditions this equation has a unique solution, and an iterative method is proposed to obtain this unique solution. Finally, a numerical example is given to identify the efficiency of the results obtained.     

对角型拟线性双曲组整体经典解的渐近行为

This paper deals with the asymptotic behavior of global classical solutions to quasilinear hyperbolic systems of diagonal form with weakly linearly degenerate characteristic fields. On the basis of global existence and uniqueness of C^1 solution, we prove that the solution to the Cauchy problem approaches a combination of C^1 traveling wave solutions when t tends to the infinity.

利用上下解方法,不动点理论研究奇异微分方程u" f(t,u)=0,t∈(0,1)在边界条件au(0)-βu'(0)=0,γu(1) δu'(1)=0下C[0,1]正解和C1[0,1]正解的存在性与唯一性.其中非线性项f(t,u)关于u是减的,仅满足较弱的要求.     

Solutions to the $\sigma_k$-Loewner-Nirenberg Problem on Annuli are Locally Lipschitz and Not Differentiable

We show for $k \geq 2$ that the locally Lipschitz viscosity solution to the $\sigma_k$-Loewner-Nirenberg problem on a given annulus $\{a < |x| < b\}$ is $C^{1,\frac{1}{k}}_{\rm loc}$ in each of $\{a < |x| \leq \sqrt{ab}\}$ and $\{\sqrt{ab} \leq |x| < b\}$ and has a jump in radial derivative across $|x| = \sqrt{ab}$. Furthermore, the solution is not $C^{1,\gamma}_{\rm loc}$ for any $\gamma > \frac{1}{k}$. Optimal regularity for solutions to the $\sigma_k$-Yamabe problem on annuli with finite constant boundary values is also established.

In this paper we study the asymptotic behavior of global classical solutions to the Cauchy problem with initial data given on a semi-bounded axis for quasilinear hyperbolic systems. Based on the existence result on the global classical solution, we prove that, when t tends to the infinity, the solution approaches a combination of C1 travelling wave solutions with the algebraic rate （1 ＋ t）^-u, provided that the initial data decay with the rate （1 ＋ x）^-（l＋u） （resp. （1 - x）^-（1＋u）） as x tends to ＋∞ （resp. -∞）, where u is a positive constant.     

Conditional Regularity of Weak Solutions to the 3D Magnetic Bénard Fluid System

This paper concerns about the regularity conditions of weak solutions to the magnetic Bénard fluid system in $\mathbb{R}^3$. We show that a weak solution $(u,b,θ)(·,t)$ of the 3D magnetic Bénard fluid system defined in $[0,T),$ which satisfies some regularity requirement as $(u,b,θ),$ is regular in $\mathbb{R}^3×(0,T)$ and can be extended as a $C^∞$ solution beyond $T$.
