Minimal Non—Commutative n—Insertive Rings

Let n be an integer with |n| > 1. If p is the smallest prime factor of |n|, we prove that a minimal non-commutative n-insertive ring contains n ⁴ elements and these rings have five (2p+4) isomorphic classes for p = 2 (p ≠ 2). On Hua-Tuan’s conjecture

Let G be a finite group and |G| = pn, p be a prime. For 0 m n, sm(G) denotes the number of subgroups of of order pm of G. Loo-Keng Hua and Hsio-Fu Tuan have ever conjectured: for an arbitrary finite p-group G, if p > 2, then sm(G) ≡ 1, 1 + p, 1 + p + p2 or 1 + p + 2p2 (mod p3). In this paper, we investigate the conjecture, and give some p-groups in which the conjecture holds and some examples in which the conjecture does not hold.     

Homogeneous expansions of normalized biholomorphic convex mappings overB P

The power series expansions of normalized biholomorphic convex mappings on the Reinhardt domain are studied. It is proved that the first (k+1) terms of the expansions of the jth componentf j of such a mapf depend only onz _j , for 1 ⩽j⩽n, wherek is the natural number that satisfiesk < ρ ⩽k +I. Finite 2-generator equilibrated p-groups

Following Blackburn, Deaconescu and Mann, a group G is called an equilibrated group if for any subgroups H,K of G with HK = KH, either H≤NG(K) or K≤NG(H). Continuing their work and based on the classification of metacyclic p-groups given by Newman and Xu, we give a complete classification of 2-generator equilibrated p-groups in this note.     

A rough hypersingular integral operator with an oscillating factor on function space

The singular integral operator Tα,βf(x) = p.v.∫Rnei|y|-βΩ(y') /|y|n αf(x-y)dy,defined for all test functions f is studied, where Ω(y') is a distribution on the unit sphere Sn-1 satisfying certain cancellation condition. It is proved that Tα,β is a bounded operator from the Triebel-Lizorkin space Fs,qp to the Triebel-Lizorkin space Fs γ,qp, provided that Ω(y') is a distribution in the Hardy space Hr(Sn-1) with r = (n - 1)/(n - 1 γ).     

Cubic one-regular graphs of order twice a square-free integer

A graph is one-regular if its automorphism group acts regularly on the set of its arcs.Let n be a square-free integer.In this paper,we show that a cubic one-regular graph of order 2n exists if and only if n=3~tp1p2…p_s≥13,where t≤1,s≥1 and p_i's are distinct primes such that 3|(P_i—1). For such an integer n,there are 2~(s-1) non-isomorphic cubic one-regular graphs of order 2n,which are all Cayley graphs on the dihedral group of order 2n.As a result,no cubic one-regular graphs of order 4 times an odd square-free integer exist.     

A note on Mori's theorem ofK-quasiconformal mappings

The distortion problem ofK-quasiconformal mappings of the unit diskD={z∶|z|<1} onto itself with the original fixed is discussed, a new estimate is given. Project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.     

Representation ofL p-norms and isometric embedding inL p-spaces

For fixed 1≦p<∞ theL _p-semi-norms onR ⁿ are identified with positive linear functionals on the closed linear subspace ofC(R ⁿ ) spanned by the functions |<ξ, ·>| ^p , ξ∈R ⁿ . For every positive linear functional σ, on that space, the function Φ_σ:R ⁿ →R given by Φ_σ is anL _p-semi-norm and the mapping σ→Φ_σ is 1-1 and onto. The closed linear span of |<ξ, ·>| ^p , ξ∈R ⁿ is the space of all even continuous functions that are homogeneous of degreep, ifp is not an even integer and is the space of all homogeneous polynomials of degreep whenp is an even integer. This representation is used to prove that there is no finite list of norm inequalities that characterizes linear isometric embeddability, in anyL _p unlessp=2. Weakly stable constant mean curvature hypersurfaces

Let M^n be an n-dimensional complete noncompact oriented weakly stable constant mean curvature hypersurface in an （n ＋ 1）-dimensional Riemannian manifold N^n＋1 whose （n - 1）th Ricci curvature satisfying Ric^N（n-1） （n - 1）c. Denote by H and φ the mean curvature and the trace-free second fundamental form of M respectively. If ｜φ｜^2 - （n- 2）√n（n- 1）｜H｜｜φ｜＋ n（2n - 1）（H^2＋ c） 〉 0, then M does not admit nonconstant bounded harmonic functions with finite Dirichlet integral. In particular, if N has bounded geometry and c ＋ H^2 〉 0, then M must have only one end.
