GLOBAL ATTRACTIVITY OF A DIFFERENCE EQUATION

In this paper,we investigate the global stability of all positive solutions to a difference equation.We show that the unique positive equilibrium of the equation is a global attractor with a basin under some certain conditions on the coefficient.     

On the Pythagoras numbers of real analytic surfaces

We show that (i) every positive semidefinite meromorphic function germ on a surface is a sum of 4 squares of meromorphic function germs, and that (ii) every positive semidefinite global meromorphic function on a normal surface is a sum of 5 squares of global meromorphic functions.     

Ivlev型捕食系统的全局动力学分析

研究捕食者与食饵均具有线性密度制约的Ivlev型捕食动力系统.应用常微分方程定性方法,得到了正平衡点的全局稳定性和非小振幅极限环的存在唯一性的充分条件.特别地,在一定条件下,证明了极限环的存在唯一性与正平衡点的局部不稳定性是等价的,正平衡点的局部稳定性隐含它的全局稳定性,因此,系统的全局动力学性质完全由正平衡点的局部性质所决定.     

Sharp conditions for global stability of Lotka-Volterra systems with distributed delays

We give a criterion for the global attractivity of a positive equilibrium of n-dimensional non-autonomous Lotka-Volterra systems with distributed delays. For a class of autonomous Lotka-Volterra systems, we show that such a criterion is sharp, in the sense that it provides necessary and sufficient conditions for the global asymptotic stability independently of the choice of the delay functions. The global attractivity of positive equilibria is established by imposing a diagonal dominance of the instantaneous negative feedback terms, and relies on auxiliary results showing the boundedness of all positive solutions. The paper improves and generalizes known results in the literature, namely by considering systems with distributed delays rather than discrete delays.     

多滞量高阶非线性差分方程的全局吸引性

研究了差分方程xn+1=(a+bxn)/(A+B xn-k)(C+D xn-l),n=0,1,2,….其中a,b,A,B,C∈(0,∞),D∈[0,∞),k,l是正整数,初值条件x-k,…,x-1及x0是任意正常数的全局吸引性,推广了相关文献的相关结果.     

一类半线性椭圆型方程正整体解的存在性

本文研究了一个半线性椭圆型方程正整体解的存在性问题.利用上下解方法克服了非齐次项出现带来的困难,获得了正整体解存在的必要条件,具体地给出了在此条件下正整体解所处的领域.

Global attractor of a coupled finite difference reaction diffusion system with delays

In the study of asymptotic behavior of solutions for reaction diffusion systems, an important concern is to determine whether and when the system has a global attractor which attracts all positive time-dependent solutions. The aim of this paper is to investigate the global attraction problem for a finite difference system which is a discrete approximation of a coupled system of two reaction diffusion equations with time delays. Sufficient conditions are obtained to ensure the existence and global attraction of a positive solution of the corresponding steady-state system. Applications are given to three types of Lotka-Volterra reaction diffusion models, where time-delays may appear in the opposing species.     

Positive periodic solutions for impulsive predator-prey model with dispersion and time delays

In this paper, we study the existence and global attractivity of positive periodic solutions for impulsive predator-prey systems with dispersion and time delays. By using coincidence degree theorem, a set of easily verifiable sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of at least one strictly positive periodic solutions, and by means of a suitable Lyapunov functional, the uniqueness and global attractivity of positive periodic solution is presented. Some known results subject to the underlying systems without impulses are improved and generalized.

本文研究了具有脉冲和时滞效应的Logistic模型.利用脉冲微分方程的比较定理,BohlBrower不动点定理和Lyapunov函数法,获得了系统持续生存,正周期解存在、唯一以及全局吸引的充分条件.结果表明正周期解的全局吸引性与时滞有关.

Some Notes on Reaction Diffusion Systems with Nonlinear Boundary Conditions

This paper deals with the existence and nonexistence of global positive solution to a semilinear reaction-diffusion system with nonlinear boundary conditions.For the heat diffusion case,the necessary and sufficient conditions on the global existence of all positive solutions are obtained.For the general fast diffusion case,we get some conditions on the global existence and nonexistence of positive solutions.The results of this paper fill the some gaps which were left in this field.     

Positive solutions of some parabolic system with cross-diffusion and nonlocal initial conditions

The paper is concerned with a system consisting of two coupled nonlinear parabolic equations with a cross-diffusion term, where the solutions at positive times define the initial states. The equations arise as steady state equations of an age-structured predator–prey system with spatial dispersion. Based on unilateral global bifurcation methods for Fredholm operators and on maximal regularity for parabolic equations, global bifurcation of positive solutions is derived.     

Periodicity and stability for a Lotka-Volterra type competition system with feedback controls and deviating arguments

This paper deals with the general periodic Lotka-Volterra type competition systems with feedback controls and deviating arguments. By employing fixed point index theory on cone, an explicit necessary and sufficient condition for the global existence of the positive periodic solution of the systems is proved. By constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional, a set of easily verifiable sufficient conditions for the global asymptotic stability of the positive periodic solution of the systems is given.     

捕食者具有阶段结构Holling II类功能性反应的捕食模型

利用重合度理论中的延拓定理讨论了捕食者具有阶段结构Holling II类功能性反应的捕食模型的正周期解的存在性,得到了保证周期解存在的充分性条件,推广了已知的相关结果. 同时通过构造Lyapunov函数得到了保证周期解稳定性的充分性条件.     

Existence and nonexistence of global positive solutions for a weakly coupled P-Laplacian system

In this paper, we deal with a weakly coupled evolution P-Laplacian system with inhomogeneous terms. We obtain a critical criterion concerning existence and nonexistence of its global positive solutions. Such a criterion is different from that of the weakly coupled evolution P-Laplacian system with homogeneous terms. Further, we demonstrate existence and nonexistence of its global positive solutions.
