Abstract

Let R = K[y 1,…,y t ] be an affine domain over a field K and I be a nonzero proper ideal of R. In Sec. 1 of this note, we characterize when (K + I, R) is a Mori pair. In Sec. 2 of this note, we prove the following theorem: Let A ? B be domains such that C/Q is Mori for each subring C of B containing A and for any prime ideal Q of C. Then dim A ? 1 ≤ dim B ≤ dim A + 1 and if dim A > 1 or dim B > 1 then dim A = dim B.  相似文献

We show that if A is a representation-finite selfinjective Artin algebra, then every P ? ? K b(𝒫 A ) with Hom K(Mod?A)(P ?,P ?[i]) = 0 for i ≠ 0 and add(P ?) = add(νP ?) is a direct summand of a tilting complex, and that if A, B are derived equivalent representation-finite selfinjective Artin algebras, then there exists a sequence of selfinjective Artin algebras A = B 0, B 1,…, B m  = B such that, for any 0 ≤ i < m, B i+1 is the endomorphism algebra of a tilting complex for B i of length ≤ 1.  相似文献

Let A and B be multiplier Hopf algebras, and let R ∈ M(B ? A) be an anti-copairing multiplier, i.e, the inverse of R is a skew-copairing multiplier in the sense of Delvaux [5 Delvaux , L. ( 2004 ). Twisted tensor coproduct of multiplier Hopf (*)-algebras . J. Algebra 274 : 751771 . [Google Scholar]]. Then one can construct a twisted tensor coproduct multiplier Hopf algebra A ? R  B. Using this, we establish the correspondence between the existence of quasitriangular structures in A ? R  B and the existence of such structures in the factors A and B. We illustrate our theory with a profusion of examples which cannot be obtained by using classical Hopf algebras. Also, we study the class of minimal quasitriangular multiplier Hopf algebras and show that every minimal quasitriangular Hopf algebra is a quotient of a Drinfel’d double for some algebraic quantum group.  相似文献

The paper investigates the following problem. Let bimodules N, M yield a stable equivalence of Morita type between self-injective K-algebras A and E. Further, let bimodules S, T yield a stable equivalence of Morita type between self-injective K-algebras B and F. Then we want to know whether the functor M ? A  ? ? B S: mod(A ? K B op ) → mod(E ? K F op ) induces a stable equivalence between A ? K B op and E ? K F op . There is given a reduction of this problem to some smaller subcategories for self-injective algebras. Moreover, new invariants of stable equivalences of Morita type are constructed in a general case of arbitrary finite-dimensional algebras over a field.  相似文献

This article is devoted to faithfully flat Hopf bi-Galois extensions defined by Fischman, Montgomery, and Schneider. Let H be a Hopf algebra with bijective antipode. Given a faithfully flat right H-Galois extension A/R and a right H-comodule subalgebra C ? A such that A is faithfully flat over C, we provide necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a Hopf algebra W so that A/C is a left W-Galois extension and A a (W, H)-bicomodule algebra. As a consequence, we prove that if R = k, there is a Hopf algebra W such that A/C is a left W-Galois extension and A a (W, H)-bicomodule algebra if and only if C is an H-submodule of A with respect to the Miyashita–Ulbrich action.  相似文献

Let H = X? R A denote an R-smash product of the two bialgebras X and A. We prove that (X,A) is a pair of matched bialgebras, if the R-smash product H has a braiding structure. When X is an associative algebra and A is a Hopf algebra, we investigate the global dimension and the weak dimension of the smash product H = X? R A and show that lD(H) ≤ rD(A) + lD(X) and wD(H) ≤ wD(A) + wD(X). As an application, we get lD(H 4) = ∞ for Sweedler's four dimensional Hopf algebra H 4. We also study the associativity of smash products and the relations between smash products and factorization for algebras.  相似文献

Let A have a locally finite and multiparameter indexed filtration ?, and let B be a homomorphic image of A. Thus B has the locally finite and multiparameter indexed filtration induced from ?. We study relationships between vertex Poisson algebras and Courant algebroids. For any ?-graded vertex Poisson algebra A = ? n∈? A (n), we show that A (1) is a Courant A (0)-algebroid. On the other hand, for any Courant 𝒜-algebroid ?, we construct an ?-graded vertex Poisson algebra A = ? n∈? A (n) such that A (0) is 𝒜 and the Courant 𝒜-algebroid A (1) is isomorphic to ? as a Courant 𝒜-algebroid.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

A new notion which is called weakly stable module is introduced in this article. It is a nontrivial generalization of the modules with endomorphism rings having stable range one. We deduce that weakly stable projective modules have the cancellation property, and so any commutative hereditary ring has the cancellation property, i.e., if R is a commutative hereditary ring, then for any R-modules B and C, R ⊕ B ? R ⊕ C implies B ? C.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce and study the dual notion of simple-direct-injective modules. Namely, a right R-module M is called simple-direct-projective if, whenever A and B are submodules of M with B simple and M/A ? B ?M, then A ?M. Several characterizations of simple-direct-projective modules are provided and used to describe some well-known classes of rings. For example, it is shown that a ring R is artinian and serial with J2(R) = 0 if and only if every simple-direct-projective right R-module is quasi-projective if and only if every simple-direct-projective right R -module is a D3-module. It is also shown that a ring R is uniserial with J2(R) = 0 if and only if every simple-direct-projective right R-module is a C3-module if and only if every simple-direct-injective right R -module is a D3-module.  相似文献

A regular ring R is separative provided that for all finitely generated projective right R-modules A and B, AA? AB? AB implies that A? B. We prove, in this article, that a regular ring R in which 2 is invertible is separative if and only if each a ∈ R satisfying R(1 ? a 2)R = Rr(a) = ?(a)R and i(End R (aR)) = ∞ is unit-regular if and only if each a ∈ R satisfying R(1 ? a 2)R ∩ RaR = Rr(a) ∩ ?(a)R ∩ RaR and i(End R (aR)) = ∞ is unit-regular. This is a variation on a theme of Bayer-Fluckiger, Shapiro, and Tignol related to hyperbolic involutions. In this article, we provide an alternative approach to the definition of a weak Hopf algebra (WHA). For an associative unital algebra A with a coassociative comultiplication Δ ∈Alg u (A, A ? A), the set of homomorphisms from A to A ? A, which do not preserve the units. If the linear maps Ξ1, Ξ2 ∈ End(A ? A), defined by Ξ1(a ? b) = Δ(a)(1 ? b), Ξ2(a ? b) = (a ? 1)Δ(b), are von Neumann regular elements in the ring End(A ? A) of endomorphisms of A ? A satisfying some appropriate assumptions, we call the A a Hopf-type algebra. Let L be a finite-dimensional complex simple Lie algebra, L ? be the ?-span of a Chevalley basis of L, and L R  = R ?? L ? be a Chevalley algebra of type L over a commutative ring R. Let 𝒩(R) be the nilpotent subalgebra of L R spanned by the root vectors associated with positive roots. A map ? of 𝒩(R) is called commuting if [?(x), x] = 0 for all x ∈ 𝒩(R). In this article, we prove that under some conditions for R, if Φ is not of type A 2, then a derivation (resp., an automorphism) of 𝒩(R) is commuting if and only if it is a central derivation (resp., automorphism), and if Φ is of type A 2, then a derivation (resp., an automorphism) of 𝒩(R) is commuting if and only if it is a sum (resp., a product) of a graded diagonal derivation (resp., automorphism) and a central derivation (resp., automorphism).  相似文献

An associative algebra R over a field K is said to be right ?-prime if for every nonzero r ? R, there exists a finitely generated subalgebra S of R such that rSt = 0 implies t = 0. Clearly, strongly prime implies ?-prime and ?-prime implies prime. A large number of examples of group algebras are given which show that the concept of ?-prime lies strictly between prime and strongly prime. A complete characterization of ?-prime group algebras is given. It is proved that a group algebra KG of the group G over the field K is ?-prime if and only if Λ+(G) = (1). Intersection theorems play an important role in the study. In the process, a new intersection theorem for ?-prime group algebras is obtained. Elementwise characterization of the ?-prime radical is given and its relation with some well-known radicals is discussed.  相似文献

Let BA be a homomorphism of Hopf algebras and let C be an algebra. We consider the induction from B to A of C in two cases: when C is a B-interior algebra and when C is a B-module algebra. Our main results establish the connection between the two inductions. The inspiration comes from finite group representation theory, and some constructions work in even more general contexts.  相似文献
