Let B be a regular multiplier Hopf algebra. Let A be an algebra with a non-degenerate multiplication such that A is a left B-module algebra and a left B-comodule algebra. By the use of the left action and the left coaction of B on A, we determine when a comultiplication on A makes A into a “B-admissible regular multiplier Hopf algebra.” If A is a B-admissible regular multiplier Hopf algebra, we prove that the smash product A # B is again a regular multiplier Hopf algebra. The comultiplication on A # B is a cotwisting (induced by the left coaction of B on A) of the given comultiplications on A and B. When we restrict to the framework of ordinary Hopf algebra theory, we recover Majid’s braided interpretation of Radford’s biproduct. Presented by K. Goodearl.  相似文献

This article is devoted to faithfully flat Hopf bi-Galois extensions defined by Fischman, Montgomery, and Schneider. Let H be a Hopf algebra with bijective antipode. Given a faithfully flat right H-Galois extension A/R and a right H-comodule subalgebra C ? A such that A is faithfully flat over C, we provide necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a Hopf algebra W so that A/C is a left W-Galois extension and A a (W, H)-bicomodule algebra. As a consequence, we prove that if R = k, there is a Hopf algebra W such that A/C is a left W-Galois extension and A a (W, H)-bicomodule algebra if and only if C is an H-submodule of A with respect to the Miyashita–Ulbrich action.  相似文献

For a subalgebra B of a partial monounary algebra A we define the quotient partial monounary algebra A/B. Let B, B, C be partial monounary algebras. In this paper we give a construction of all partial monounary algebras A such that B is a subalgebra of A and CA/B.  相似文献

Let H be a quasi-Hopf algebra, a weak Hopf algebra, or a braided Hopf algebra. Let B be an H-bicomodule algebra such that there exists a morphism of H-bicomodule algebras v: H → B. Then we can define an object Bco(H), which is a left-left Yetter–Drinfeld module over H, having extra properties that allow to make a smash product Bco(H)#H, which is an H-bicomodule algebra, isomorphic to B.  相似文献

Given two epimorphisms of algebras A ? B and C ? B, we consider the pullback R. We introduce a particular class of algebras, the tree oriented pullback, where there is a close relationship between the category of indecomposable modules of these algebras. This leads us to prove that if A and C are hereditary algebras, then R is a tilted algebra.  相似文献

To any right comodule coalgebra C over a Hopf algebra H we associate a left H-comodule algebra A. Under certain conditions, in particular in the case where H has nonzero integrals, we show that the category of right C, H-comodules is isomorphic to a certain subcategory of the category of Doi–Hopf modules associated to A. As an application, we investigate the connection between C and the smash coproduct C ? H being right semiperfect.  相似文献

Let H be a finite-dimensional Hopf algebra and A a finite-dimensional H-simple left H-module algebra. We show that the smash product A#H is isomorphic to End A(V ? H*), where V ≠ 0 is a finite-dimensional left A-module and (A′, V′) the stabilizer of (A, V). As an application it is proved that A#H is isomorphic to a full matrix algebra over A′ when H is semisimple and dim V|dim A.  相似文献

Let H be a semisimple Hopf algebra over a field of characteristic 0, and A a finite-dimensional transitive H-module algebra with a l-dimensional ideal. It is proved that the smash product A#H is isomorphic to a full matrix algebra over some right coideal subalgebra N of H. The correspondence between A and such N, and the special case A = k(X) of function algebra on a finite set X are considered.  相似文献

In this article, we provide an alternative approach to the definition of a weak Hopf algebra (WHA). For an associative unital algebra A with a coassociative comultiplication Δ ∈Alg u (A, A ? A), the set of homomorphisms from A to A ? A, which do not preserve the units. If the linear maps Ξ1, Ξ2 ∈ End(A ? A), defined by Ξ1(a ? b) = Δ(a)(1 ? b), Ξ2(a ? b) = (a ? 1)Δ(b), are von Neumann regular elements in the ring End(A ? A) of endomorphisms of A ? A satisfying some appropriate assumptions, we call the A a Hopf-type algebra. We show the existence of a target, a source, a counit, and an antipode of A as in the usual WHA.  相似文献

UniversalC*-algebrasC*(A) exist for certain topological *-algebras called algebras with aC*-enveloping algebra. A Frechet *-algebraA has aC*-enveloping algebra if and only if every operator representation ofA mapsA into bounded operators. This is proved by showing that every unbounded operator representation π, continuous in the uniform topology, of a topological *-algebraA, which is an inverse limit of Banach *-algebras, is a direct sum of bounded operator representations, thereby factoring through the enveloping pro-C*-algebraE(A) ofA. Given aC*-dynamical system (G,A,α), any topological *-algebraB containingC c (G,A) as a dense *-subalgebra and contained in the crossed productC*-algebraC*(G,A,α) satisfiesE(B) =C*(G,A,α). IfG = ℝ, ifB is an α-invariant dense Frechet *-subalgebra ofA such thatE(B) =A, and if the action α onB ism-tempered, smooth and by continuous *-automorphisms: then the smooth Schwartz crossed productS(ℝ,B,α) satisfiesE(S(ℝ,B,α)) =C*(ℝ,A,α). WhenG is a Lie group, theC -elementsC (A), the analytic elementsC ω(A) as well as the entire analytic elementsC є(A) carry natural topologies making them algebras with aC*-enveloping algebra. Given a non-unitalC*-algebraA, an inductive system of idealsI α is constructed satisfyingA =C*-ind limI α; and the locally convex inductive limit ind limI α is anm-convex algebra with theC*-enveloping algebraA and containing the Pedersen idealK a ofA. Given generatorsG with weakly Banach admissible relationsR, we construct universal topological *-algebraA(G, R) and show that it has aC*-enveloping algebra if and only if (G, R) isC*-admissible.  相似文献

Let G be an abelian group, B the G-graded λ-Hopf algebra with A being a bicharacter on G. By introducing some new twisted algebras (coalgebras), we investigate the basic properties of the graded antipode and the structure for B. We also prove that a G-graded λ-Hopf algebra can be embedded in a usual Hopf algebra. As an application, it is given that if G is a finite abelian group then the graded antipode of a finite dimensional G-graded A-Hopf algebra is invertible.  相似文献

In this paper, we give a necessary and sufficient condition for a comodule algebra over a weak Hopf algebra to have a total integral, thus extending the classical theory developed by Doi in the Hopf algebra setting. Also, from these results, we deduce a version of Maschke's Theorem for (H, B)-Hopf modules associated with a weak Hopf algebra H and a right H-comodule algebra B.  相似文献

For H a finite-dimensional Hopf algebra over a field k, we study H*-Galois Azumaya extensions A, i.e., A is an H-module algebra which is H*-Galois with A/AH separable and AH Azumaya. We prove that there is a Galois correspondence between a set of separable subalgebras of A and a set of separable subalgebras of CA(AH), thus generalizing the work of Alfaro and Szeto for H a group algebra. Let A be a unital C*-algebra of real rank zero and B be a unital semisimple complex Banach algebra. We characterize linear maps from A onto B preserving different essential spectral sets and quantities such as the essential spectrum, the (left, right) essential spectrum, the Weyl spectrum, the index and the essential spectral radius.  相似文献

Let H be a Hopf algebra over a field k, and A an H-comodule algebra. The categories of comodules and relative Hopf modules are then Grothendieck categories with enough injectives. We study the derived functors of the associated Hom functors, and of the coinvariants functor, and discuss spectral sequences that connect them. We also discuss when the coinvariants functor preserves injectives.  相似文献

Pairing and Quantum Double of Multiplier Hopf Algebras   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
We define and investigate pairings of multiplier Hopf (*-)algebras which are nonunital generalizations of Hopf algebras. Dual pairs of multiplier Hopf algebras arise naturally from any multiplier Hopf algebra A with integral and its dual Â. Pairings of multiplier Hopf algebras play a basic rôle, e.g., in the study of actions and coactions, and, in particular, in the relation between them. This aspect of the theory is treated elsewhere. In this paper we consider the quantum double construction out of a dual pair of multiplier Hopf algebras. We show that two dually paired regular multiplier Hopf (*-)algebras A and B yield a quantum double which is again a regular multiplier Hopf (*-)algebra. If A and B have integrals, then the quantum double also has an integral. If A and B are Hopf algebras, then the quantum double multiplier Hopf algebra is the usual quantum double. The quantum double construction for dually paired multiplier Hopf (*-)algebras yields new nontrivial examples of multiplier Hopf (*-)algebras.  相似文献

Abstract

Integrals in Hopf algebras are an essential tool in studying finite dimensional Hopf algebras and their action on rings. Over fields it has been shown by Sweedler that the existence of integrals in a Hopf algebra is equivalent to the Hopf algebra being finite dimensional. In this paper we examine how much of this is true Hopf algebras over rings. We show that over any commutative ring R that is not a field there exists a Hopf algebra H over R containing a non-zero integral but not being finitely generated as R-module. On the contrary we show that Sweedler's equivalence is still valid for free Hopf algebras or projective Hopf algebras over integral domains. Analogously for a left H-module algebra A we study the influence of non-zero left A#H-linear maps from A to A#H on H being finitely generated as R-module. Examples and application to separability are given.  相似文献

For a general crossed product E = A#f H, of an algebra A by a Hopf algebra H, we obtain complexes smaller than the canonical ones, giving the Hochschild homology and cohomology of E. These complexes are equipped with natural filtrations. The spectral sequences associated to them coincide with the ones obtained using a natural generalization of the direct method introduced in Trans. Amer. Math. Soc. 74 (1953) 110–134. We also get that if the 2-cocycle f takes its values in a separable subalgebra of A, then the Hochschild (co)homology of E with coefficients in M is the (co)homology of H with coefficients in a (co)chain complex.  相似文献

In this article, we give necessary and sufficient conditions for a possibly nonassociative comodule algebra over a nonassociative Hopf algebra to have a total integral, thus extending the classical theory developed by Doi in the associative setting. Also, from this result we deduce a version of Maschke's Theorems and the consequent characterization of projectives for (H, B)-Hopf triples associated with a nonassociative Hopf algebra H and a nonassociative right H-comodule algebra B.  相似文献
