关于无穷维算子的有限维最佳逼近

A method of approaching to the infinite-dimensional linear operators by the finite-dimensional operators is discussed. It is shown that,for every infinite-dimensional operator A and every natural number n,there exists an n-dimensional optimal approximation to A. The norm error is found and the necessary and sufficient condition for such n-dimensional optimal approximations to be unique is obtained.     

Two classes of operators with irreducibility and the small and compact perturbations of them

This paper gives the concepts of finite dimensional irreducible operators((FDI) operators)and infinite dimensional irreducible operators((IDI) operators). Discusses the relationships of(FDI)operators,(IDI) operators and strongly irreducible operators((SI) operators) and illustrates some properties of the three classes of operators. Some sufficient conditions for the finite-dimensional irreducibility of operators which have the forms of upper triangular operator matrices are given. This paper proves that every operator with a singleton spectrum is a small compact perturbation of an(FDI) operator on separable Banach spaces and shows that every bounded linear operator T can be approximated by operators in(Σ FDI)(X) with respect to the strong-operator topology and every compact operator K can be approximated by operators in(Σ FDI)(X) with respect to the norm topology on a Banach space X with a Schauder basis, where(ΣFDI)(X) := {T∈B(X) : T=Σki=1Ti, Ti ∈(FDI), k ∈ N}.     

一类无穷维Hamilton算子的半群生成定理

研究了无穷维H am ilton算子生成C0半群的问题,得到了类无穷维H am ilton算子生成C0半群的一个充分条件.把结果应用在一类双曲型混合问题生成的无穷维H am ilton算子上,证明此类算子生成C0半群,并利用H ille-Y osida定理进一步说明了结果的正确性和有效性.另外,还给出了波动方程相应的无穷维H am ilton算子所生成的C0半群的具体表达式.     

每个算子都是两个强不可约算子的和

本文证明了可分无穷维 Hilbert空间上每个有界线性算子均可写成两个强不可约算子之和 .这回答了文献 [9]中提出一个公开问题     

只有纯虚谱的Hamilton算子

刻画了一类无穷维Hamilton算子的谱的分布情况,并得到了无穷维Hamilton算子只有纯虚谱的充分条件.最后,构造出具体的例子以说明判别准则的有效性.     

Common hypercyclic vectors for the conjugate class of a hypercyclic operator

Given a separable, infinite dimensional Hilbert space, it was recently shown by the authors that there is a path of chaotic operators, which is dense in the operator algebra with the strong operator topology, and along which every operator has the exact same dense Gδ set of hypercyclic vectors. In the present work, we show that the conjugate set of any hypercyclic operator on a separable, infinite dimensional Banach space always contains a path of operators which is dense with the strong operator topology, and yet the set of common hypercyclic vectors for the entire path is a dense Gδ set. As a corollary, the hypercyclic operators on such a Banach space form a connected subset of the operator algebra with the strong operator topology.

研究一类每个约束条件有两个变量且每个变量出现在两个约束条件中的无限维线性规划.引入松弛变量后,得到约束方程组的系数矩阵为无限阶带状矩阵,用它的左逆以及属于零的特征向量可以表示这类问题的最优解.获得目标函数值收敛的一个充分条件.     

多元 Besov-Wiener 类的无穷维宽度和最优恢复

该文考虑 Besov-Wiener 类S_pqθ^r B(R^d)和 S_pqθ^r B(R^d)在 L_q(R^d) 空间下 (1≤q≤ p <∞ ) 的无穷维σ -宽度和最优恢复问题.通过考虑样条函数逼近和构造一种连续样条算子, 得到了关于无穷维Kolmogorov 宽度、无穷维线性宽度、无穷维 Gel'fand 宽度和最优恢复的弱渐近结果.     

A note on the regularity of solutions of infinite dimensional Riccati equations

This note is concerned with the regularity of solutions of algebraic Riccati equations arising from infinite dimensional LQR control problems. We show that distributed parameter systems described by certain parabolic partial differential equations often have a special structure that smooths solutions of the corresponding Riccati equation. This analysis is motivated by the need to find specific representations for Riccati operators that can be used in the development of computational schemes for problems where the input and output operators are not Hilbert-Schmidt. This situation occurs in many boundary control problems and in certain distributed control problems associated with optimal sensor/actuator placement.     

k紧优双环网的无限族的构造

双环网是计算机互连网络和通讯系统的一类重要拓扑结构,已广泛应用于计算机互连网络拓扑结构的设计中.利用L形瓦理论,结合中国剩余定理和二次同余方程的性质,给出了不同于参考文献中的任意k紧优双环网的无限族的构造方法,证明了对任意正整数k,若n(t)=3t2 At B,A=1,3,5,对于一定的B＞(k 1)2,均存在正整数t,使得{G(n(t);s(t))}是k紧优双环网的无限族,而且这样的无限族有无穷多类.作为定理的应用,给出了多类新的k紧优双环网的无限族.     

Solvability of the super KP equation and a generalization of the Birkhoff decomposition

Summary The unique solvability of the initial value problem for the total hierarchy of the super Kadomtsev-Petviashvili system is established. To prove the existence we use a generalization of the Birkhoff decomposition which is obtained by replacing the loop variable and loop groups in the original setting by a super derivation operator and groups of infinite order super micro- (i.e. pseudo-) differential operators. To show the uniqueness we generalize the fact that every flat connection admits horizontal sections to the case of an infinite dimensional super algebra bundle defined over an infinite dimensional super space. The usual KP system with non-commutative coefficients is also studied. The KP system is obtained from the super KP system by reduction modulo odd variables. On the other hand, the first modified KP equation can be obtained from the super KP system by elimination of odd variables. Thus the super KP system is a natural unification of the KP system and the modified KP systems.Research supported in part by NSF Grant No. DMS 86-03175

应用Hille-Yosida定理研究了无穷维Hamilton算子,得到了一个无穷维Hamilton系统初值问题解的存在性定理,并把结果应用在由一类双曲型偏微分方程导出的无穷维Hamilton系统中,给出了此类无穷维Hamilton系统解的存在性定理.     

L^2*L^2中的一类无穷维Hamilton算子的剩余谱

该文得到了一类无穷维Hamilton算子的剩余谱和点谱存在的几个判别准则,从而给出了求其剩余谱和点谱的方法. 在此基础上构造了L^2*L^2中无穷维Hamilton算子的剩余谱非空的具体例子, 从而进一步验证了判别准则的有效性.     

On surjective second order non-linear Markov operators and associated nonlinear integral equations

It was known that orthogonality preserving property and surjectivity of nonlinear Markov operators, acting on finite dimensional simpleces, are equivalent. It turns out that these notions are no longer equivalent when such kind of operators are considered over on infinite dimensional spaces. In the present paper, we find necessary and sufficient condition to be equivalent of these notions, for the second order nonlinear Markov operators. To do this, we fully describe all surjective second order nonlinear Markov operators acting on infinite dimensional simplex. As an application of this result, we provided some sufficient conditions for the existence of positive solutions of nonlinear integral equations whose domain are not compact.

本文讨论了本质逼近点谱的一种变形,并利用该变形定义的新的谱集,研究了α-Weyl定理在紧摄动下的稳定性.同时,给出了对任意的正整数n∈N,算子T~n∈B(H)不满足α-Weyl定理的稳定性的充分条件,其中H表示无限维的复可分Hilbert空间,B(H)表示H上的有界线性算子的全体.     

Structure of the spectrum of infinite dimensional Hamiltonian operators

This paper deals with the structure of the spectrum of infinite dimensional Hamiltonian operators.It is shown that the spectrum,the union of the point spectrum and residual spectrum,and the continuous spectrum are all symmetric with respect to the imaginary axis of the complex plane. Moreover,it is proved that the residual spectrum does not contain any pair of points symmetric with respect to the imaginary axis;and a complete characterization of the residual spectrum in terms of the point spectrum is then given.As applications of these structure results,we obtain several necessary and sufficient conditions for the residual spectrum of a class of infinite dimensional Hamiltonian operators to be empty.     

On Automatic Continuity and Three Problems of “The Scottish Book” Concerning the Boundedness of Polynomial Functionals

In this paper we introduce and study the notions of isotropic mapping and essential kernel. In addition some theorems on the Borel graph and Baire mapping for polynomial operators are proved. It is shown that a polynomial functional from an infinite dimensional complex linear space into the field of complex numbers vanishes on some infinite dimensional affine subspace.

本文研究斜对角无穷维Hamilton算子$H=\begin{pmatrix}0&B\\C&0\end{pmatrix}$的点谱和特征函数系辛结构的非退化性, 给出斜对角无穷维Hamilton算子$H$的特征函数系具有非退化辛结构的充分必要条件. 基于此, 进一步刻画了斜对角无穷维Hamilton算子$H$的点谱分别包含于实轴、虚轴以及其它区域的充分必要条件. 最后, 以板弯曲问题和弦振动问题中导出的斜对角无穷维Hamilton算子为例, 验证了所得结论的正确性.     

The unitary group preserving maps (the infinite dimensional case)

Marcus's theorem on the unitary group preserving map is extended to the infinite dimensional case. The method of proof uses the Jordan automorphisms of the algebra of hermitian operators. A connection with the group of (linear bijective) isometries is established.
