Using variational methods, we study the existence and nonexistence of nontrivial weak solutions for the quasilinear elliptic system $$\left\{\begin{array}{ll}- {\rm div}(h_1(|\nabla u|^2)\nabla u) = \frac{\mu}{|x|^2}u + \lambda F_u(x, u, \upsilon)\quad {\rm in}\,\Omega,\\- {\rm div}(h_2(|\nabla \upsilon|^2)\nabla \upsilon) = \frac{\mu}{|x|^2}\upsilon + \lambda F_\upsilon(x,u,\upsilon)\quad {\rm in}\,\Omega,\\u = \upsilon = 0 \qquad \qquad \qquad \qquad \qquad \qquad {\rm in}\, \partial\Omega, \end{array}\right.$$ where \({\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^N,N \geq 3}\) , is a bounded domain containing the origin with smooth boundary \({\partial \Omega ; h_i, i = 1, 2}\) , are nonhomogeneous potentials; \({(F_u, F_v) = \nabla F}\) stands for the gradient of a sign-changing C 1-function \({F : \Omega \times \mathbb{R}^2 \to \mathbb{R}}\) in the variable \({{w = (u, v) \in \mathbb{R}^2}}\) ; and λ and μ are parameters.  相似文献

Using variational methods, we study the existence of weak solutions forthe degenerate quasilinear elliptic system$$\left\{\begin{array}{ll}- \mathrm{div}\Big(h_1(x)|\nabla u|^{p-2}\nabla u\Big) = F_{u}(x,u,v) &\text{ in } \Omega,\\-\mathrm{div}\Big(h_2(x)|\nabla v|^{q-2}\nabla v\Big) = F_{v}(x,u,v) &\text{ in } \Omega,\\u=v=0 & \textrm{ on } \partial\Omega,\end{array}\right.$$where $\Omega\subset \mathbb R^N$ is a smooth bounded domain, $\nabla F= (F_u,F_v)$ stands for the gradient of $C^1$-function $F:\Omega\times\mathbb R^2 \to \mathbb R$, the weights $h_i$, $i=1,2$ are allowed to vanish somewhere,the primitive $F(x,u,v)$ is intimately related to the first eigenvalue of acorresponding quasilinear system.  相似文献

In this paper, we deal with the following sublinear elliptic system: $${{\left\{\begin{array}{ll}-\Delta u + u + |\nabla u|^2 = a(x)|v|^p+ f,\quad x \in \mathbb{R}^N,\\ -\Delta v + v + |\nabla v|^2 = b(x)|u|^q+ g,\quad x \in \mathbb{R}^N,\\\end{array}\right.}}$$ where 0 <  p <  1 and 0 <  q <  1. Under suitable assumptions on the terms a, b, f and g and by using the Schauder fixed point theorem, we obtain a solution for an approximated system. The limit of the approximated solutions is a nonnegative solution.  相似文献

The present article is concerned with the following nonlocal elliptic equation involving concave and convex terms,
$$\begin{array}{ll}- M \left(\int_\Omega \frac{1}{p(x)}|\nabla u|^{p(x)}{\rm d}x\right)\Big(\Delta_{p(x)}u\Big) \!&=\! \lambda \big(g(x)|u|^{q(x)-2}u\!-\!h(x)\\ &\quad |u|^{r(x)-2}u\big), \quad x\in \Omega,\\ & u = 0,\quad x\in \partial\Omega. \end{array}$$
By means of the variational approach, we prove that the above problem admits a sequence of infinitely many solutions under suitable assumptions.

We prove the existence of positive solutions for the system$$\begin{align*}\begin{cases}-\Delta_{p} u =\lambda a(x){f(v)}{u^{-\alpha}},\qquad x\in \Omega,\\-\Delta_{q} v = \lambda b(x){g(u)}{v^{-\beta}},\qquad x\in \Omega,\\u = v =0, \qquad x\in\partial \Omega,\end{cases}\end{align*}$$where $\Delta_{r}z={\rm div}(|\nabla z|^{r-2}\nabla z)$, for $r>1$ denotes the r-Laplacian operator and $\lambda$ is a positive parameter, $\Omega$ is a bounded domain in $\mathbb{R}^{n}$, $n\geq1$ with sufficiently smooth boundary and $\alpha, \beta \in (0,1).$ Here $ a(x)$ and $ b(x)$ are $C^{1}$ sign-changingfunctions that maybe negative near the boundary and $f,g $ are $C^{1}$ nondecreasing functions, such that $f, g :\ [0,\infty)\to [0,\infty);$ $f(s)>0,$ $g(s)>0$ for $s> 0$, $\lim_{s\to\infty}g(s)=\infty$ and$$\lim_{s\to\infty}\frac{f(Mg(s)^{\frac{1}{q-1}})}{s^{p-1+\alpha}}=0,\qquad \forall M>0.$$We discuss the existence of positive weak solutions when $f$, $g$, $a(x)$ and $b(x)$ satisfy certain additional conditions. We employ the method of sub-supersolution to obtain our results.  相似文献

The aim of this work is to study the existence of solutions of quasilinear elliptic problems of the type

We consider the following fourth order mean field equation with Navier boundary condition $$\Delta^2 u = \rho \frac{h(x) e^{u}}{\int_\Omega h e^{u}}\,\,{\rm in}\, \Omega,{\quad}u = \Delta u = 0\,\,{\rm on}\,\partial \Omega,\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad(*)$$ where h is a C 2,?? positive function, ?? is a bounded and smooth domain in ${\mathbb{R}^4}$ . We prove that for ${\rho \in (32m\sigma_3, 32(m + 1)\sigma_3)}$ the degree-counting formula for (*) is given by $$d(\rho)=\left\{\begin{array}{ll}\frac{1}{m!} (-\chi (\Omega) +1) \cdot\cdot \cdot (-\chi(\Omega)+m) & {\rm for}\, m >0 ,\\ 1 & {\rm for}\, m=0\end{array}\right.$$ where ??(??) is the Euler characteristic of ??. Similar result is also proved for the corresponding Dirichlet problem $$\Delta^2 u = \rho \frac{h(x) e^{u}}{\int_\Omega h e^{u}}\quad{\rm in}\,\Omega, \quad u = \nabla u = 0 \quad {\rm on}\,\,\partial \Omega.\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad(**)$$   相似文献

We consider an eigenvalue problem of the form $$\left.\begin{array}{cl}-\Delta_{p} u = \lambda\, K(x)|u|^{p-2}u \quad \mbox{in}\quad \Omega^e\\ u(x) =0 \quad \mbox{for}\quad \partial \Omega\\ u(x) \to 0 \quad \mbox{as}\quad |x| \to \infty,\end{array} \right \}$$ where \({\Omega \subset \mathrm{I\!R\!}^N}\) is a simply connected bounded domain, containing the origin, with C 2 boundary \({\partial \Omega}\) and \({\Omega^e:=\mathrm{I\!R\!^N} \setminus \overline{\Omega}}\) is the exterior domain, \({1 < p < N, \Delta_{p}u:={\rm div}(|\nabla u|^{p-2} \nabla u)}\) is the p-Laplacian operator and \({K \in L^{\infty}(\Omega^e) \cap L^{N/p}(\Omega^e)}\) is a positive function. Existence and properties of principal eigenvalue λ 1 and its corresponding eigenfunction are established which are generally known in bounded domain or in \({\mathrm{I\!R\!}^N}\) . We also establish the decay rate of positive eigenfunction as \({|x| \to \infty}\) as well as near .  相似文献

In this work, we give an existence result of entropy solutions for nonlinear anisotropic elliptic equation of the type $$- \mbox{div} \big( a(x,u,\nabla u)\big)+ g(x,u,\nabla u) + |u|^{p_{0}(x)-2}u = f-\mbox{div} \phi(u),\quad \mbox{ in } \Omega,$$ where $-\mbox{div}\big(a(x,u,\nabla u)\big)$ is a Leray-Lions operator, $\phi \in C^{0}(I\!\!R,I\!\!R^{N})$. The function $g(x,u,\nabla u)$ is a nonlinear lower order term with natural growth with respect to $|\nabla u|$, satisfying the sign condition and the datum $f$ belongs to $L^1(\Omega)$.  相似文献

In this paper,we are interested in the existence of positive solutions for the Kirchhoff type problems{-(a_1 + b_1M_1(∫_?|▽u|~pdx))△_(_pu) = λf(u,v),in ?,-(a_2 + b_2M_2(∫?|▽v|~qdx))△_(_qv) = λg(u,v),in ?,u = v = 0,on ??,where 1 p,q N,M i:R_0~+→ R~+(i = 1,2) are continuous and increasing functions.λ is a parameter,f,g ∈ C~1((0,∞) ×(0,∞)) × C([0,∞) × [0,∞)) are monotone functions such that f_s,f_t,g_s,g_t ≥ 0,and f(0,0) 0,g(0,0) 0(semipositone).Our proof is based on the sub-and super-solutions techniques.  相似文献

Let \({A=\{x\in \mathbb{R}^{2m}: 0 < a < |x| < b\}}\) be an annulus. We consider the following singularly perturbed elliptic problem on A $$\left\{\begin{array}{lll}-\varepsilon ^2{\Delta u} + |x|^{\eta}u =|x|^{\eta}u^p, \quad {\rm in} A,\\ u > 0, \quad \quad \quad \quad \quad \quad \quad {\rm in} A, \\ u=0, \quad \quad \quad \quad \quad \quad \quad {\rm on}\partial A,\end{array}\right. $$ where \({1 < p < \frac{m+3}{m-1}}\) . We shall prove the existence of a positive solution \({u_\epsilon }\) which concentrates on two different orthogonal spheres of dimension (m?1) as \({\varepsilon \to 0}\) . We achieve this by studying a reduced problem on an annular domain in \({\mathbb{R}^{m+1}}\) and analysing the profile of a two point concentrating solution in this domain.  相似文献

We consider the following q-eigenvalue problem for the p-Laplacian $$\left\{\begin{array}{ll}-{\rm div}\big( |\nabla u|^{p-2}\nabla u\big) = \lambda \|u\|_{L^{q}(\Omega)}^{p-q}|u|^{q-2}u \quad \quad\, {\rm in} \,\,\,\, \Omega\\ \quad\quad\quad \quad \quad \quad u = 0 \quad\qquad\qquad \quad\quad \,\,{\rm on } \,\,\,\, \partial\Omega,\end{array}\right.$$ where \({\lambda\in\mathbb{R},}\) p > 1, Ω is a bounded and smooth domain of \({\mathbb{R}^{N},}\) N > 1, \({1\leq q < p^{\star}}\) , \({p^{\star}=\frac{Np}{N-p}}\) if p < N and \({p^{\star}=\infty}\) if \({p\geq N.}\) Let λ q denote the first q-eigenvalue. We prove that in the super-linear case, \({p < q < p^{\star},}\) there exists \({\epsilon_{q}>0}\) such that if \({\lambda\in(\lambda_{q},\lambda _{q}+\epsilon_{q})}\) is a q-eigenvalue, then any corresponding q-eigenfunction does not change sign in Ω. As a consequence of this result we obtain, in the super-linear case, the isolatedness of λ q for those Ω such that the Lane–Emden problem $$\left\{\begin{array}{ll}-{\rm div}\big(|\nabla u|^{p-2}\nabla u\big) = |u|^{q-2}u \qquad\quad\quad\quad \,\,{\rm in}\,\,\,\Omega\\ \quad\quad\quad \quad \quad \quad u = 0 \quad\qquad\qquad \quad\quad \,{\rm on } \,\,\, \partial\Omega,\end{array}\right.$$ has exactly one positive solution.  相似文献

The purpose of this article is to study the existence and uniqueness of global solution for the nonlinear hyperbolic-parabolic equation of Kirchhoff-Carrier type: $$ u_{tt} + \mu u_t - M\left (\int _{\Omega _t}|\nabla u|^2dx\right )\Delta u = 0\quad \hbox {in}\ \Omega _t\quad \hbox {and}\quad u|_{\Gamma _t} = \dot \gamma $$ where $ \Omega _t = \{x\in {\shadR}^2 | \ x = y\gamma (t), \ y\in \Omega \} $ with boundary o t , w is a positive constant and n ( t ) is a positive function such that lim t M X n ( t ) = + X . The real function M is such that $ M(r) \geq m_0 \gt 0 \forall r\in [0,\infty [ $ .  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the blow-up of solutions to the following nonlocal p-Laplace equation:
$$u_t-\mathrm{div}(|\nabla{u}|^{p-2}\nabla{u})=|u|^{q-1}u-\frac{1}{|\Omega|} \int\limits_\Omega{|u|^{q-1}u}dx,\quad x\in\Omega,\quad 0 < t < T,$$
under homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions in a bounded smooth domain \({\Omega\subset\mathrm{R}^N}\). For all \({p > 2, q > p-1}\), a blow-up result for the solutions to the above equation with positive initial energy is established. This result improves a recent result by Qu and Liang (Abstr Appl Anal 3:551–552, 2013) which asserts the blow-up of solutions for \({p-1 < q\leq\frac{Np}{(N-p)_+}-1}\).

We shall give the existence of a capacity solution to a nonlinear elliptic coupled system, whose unknowns are the temperature inside a semiconductor material, u, and the electric potential, $$\varphi $$, the model problem we refer to is $$\begin{aligned} \left\{ \begin{array}{l} \Delta _p u+g(x,u)= \rho (u)|\nabla \varphi |^2 \quad \mathrm{in} \quad \Omega ,\\ {{\,\mathrm{div}\,}}(\rho (u)\nabla \varphi ) =0 \quad \mathrm{in} \quad \Omega ,\\ \varphi =\varphi _0 \quad \text{ on } \quad {\partial \Omega },\\ u=0 \quad \mathrm{on} \quad {\partial \Omega }, \end{array} \right. \end{aligned}$$where $$\Omega \subset \mathbb {R}^N$$, $$N\ge 2$$ and $$\Delta _p u=-{\text {div}}\left( |\nabla u|^{p-2} \nabla u\right) $$ is the so-called p-Laplacian operator, and g a nonlinearity which satisfies the sign condition but without any restriction on its growth. This problem may be regarded as a generalization of the so-called thermistor problem, where we consider the case of the elliptic equation is non-uniformly elliptic.  相似文献

We investigate the asymptotic behaviour as p of sequences of positive weak solutions of the equation $$\left\{\begin{array}{l}-\Delta_p u = \lambda\,u^{p-1}+ u^{q(p)-1}\quad {\rm in}\quad \Omega,\\ u = 0 \quad {\rm on}\quad \partial\Omega,\end{array} \right.$$ where λ > 0 and either 1 < q(p) < p or pq(p), with ${{\lim_{p\to\infty}{q(p)}/{p}=Q\neq1}}$ . Uniform limits are characterized as positive viscosity solutions of the problem $$\left\{\begin{array}{l}\min\left\{|\nabla u (x)| - \max\{\Lambda\,u (x),u ^Q(x)\}, -\Delta_{\infty}u (x)\right\} = 0 \quad {\rm in} \quad \Omega,\\ u = 0\quad {\rm on}\quad \partial\Omega.\end{array}\right.$$ for appropriate values of Λ > 0. Due to the decoupling of the nonlinearity under the limit process, the limit problem exhibits an intermediate behavior between an eigenvalue problem and a problem with a power-like right-hand side. Existence and non-existence results for both the original and the limit problems are obtained.  相似文献
