A novel linear complementary formulation is developed in this paper to deal with multiple lateral contacts at a number of cross sections for a structure consisting of many parallel beams and having rigid body displacements. The proposed method can be used to handle a challenging situation where the number of potential contact pairs exceeds the total number of available lateral displacements at a cross section. The traditional displacement-based contact algorithms cannot be employed to solve this type of contact problem. In this paper, a mixed force–displacement scheme is developed. This scheme removes the restriction on the number of contact pairs at a cross section and is suitable for handling contacts among many parallel beams. It is proven that a unique solution to the linear complementary equations obtained using the mixed force–displacement scheme exists and can be obtained using the Lemke algorithm. Numerical results for an example application show that the scheme is indeed convergent and accurate.  相似文献

Stability problems strongly coupled with contact are examined using different contact algorithms. Applying the penalty formulation a high dependence of the buckling load on the penalty parameter is found. This observation becomes clear when considering a classical Euler case. Applying kinematical constraint conditions (close to a Lagrange scheme) for contact on the other hand more consistent results regarding the buckling load are obtained. Thus for a Nitsche scheme a better and more flexible solution is expected. The FE implementation of a Nitsche interface element is carried out. (© 2009 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. This work discusses two different structure preserving integrators in the framework of optimal control simulations with contact. The first one is a variational integrator, based on the constrained version of the Lagrange-D'Alembert. The resulting scheme preserves the symplecticity and the momentum maps of the simulated multibody dynamics. The second integrator is an energy momentum scheme and it is based on the augmented Hamiltonian equations, which are discretised using the discrete derivative in [2]. Both integrators are applied to simulate the optimal control of compass gait, for which the contact between the foot and the ground is modelled as perfectly plastic contact. The second example represents a monopedal jumper and it is used to examine the dynamical behaviour of the perfectly elastic and perfectly plastic contact formulation. 将主成分分析和支持向量机回归相结合,以广西5、6月区域平均日降水量作为预报对象,进行区域日降水量预测研究.首先,整理分析大量的T213数值预报产品信息数据进行主成分分析,得到主成分数据序列;其次,根据主成分数据序列建立训练集训练支持向量机,并利用遗传算法优化参数;最后,输入支持向量机所需数据,得到主成分预测结果,建立广西日降水预报模型.实例计算结果表明,支持向量机回归模型比逐步回归模型有更好的预测能力.  相似文献

We consider a singularly perturbed semilinear convection-diffusion problem with a boundary layer of attractive turning-point type. It is shown that its solution can be decomposed into a regular solution component and a layer component. This decomposi-tion is used to analyse the convergence of an upwinded finite difference scheme on Shishkin meshes.  相似文献

Ideas from the analysis of differential-algebraic equations are applied to the numerical solution of frictionless contact/impact problems in solid mechanics. Index-one and two formulations for dynamic contact–impact within the context of the finite element method are derived. The resulting equations are shown to stabilize the kinematic fields at the contact interface, at the expense of a small energy loss, which is shown to decrease consistently with mesh refinement. This energy dissipation is shown to be necessary for the establishment of persistent contact. A Newmark-type time integration scheme is derived from the proposed formulation, and shown to yield excellent results in modeling the transition to contact/impact.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to devise an adaptive timestep control in the contact-stabilized Newmark method (ContacX) for dynamical contact problems between two viscoelastic bodies in the framework of Signorini’s condition. In order to construct a comparative scheme of higher order accuracy, we extend extrapolation techniques. This approach demands a subtle theoretical investigation of an asymptotic error expansion of the contact-stabilized Newmark scheme. On the basis of theoretical insight and numerical observations, we suggest an error estimator and a timestep selection which also cover the presence of contact. Finally, we give a numerical example.  相似文献

We consider a mathematical model which describes the quasistatic process of contact between a piezoelectric body and an electrically conductive support, the so-called foundation. We model the material's behavior with a nonlinear electro-viscoelastic constitutive law; the contact is frictionless and is described with the Signorini condition and a regularized electrical conductivity condition. We derive a variational formulation for the problem and then we prove the existence of a unique weak solution to the model. The proof is based on arguments of nonlinear equations with multivalued maximal monotone operators and fixed point. Then we introduce a fully discrete scheme, based on the finite element method to approximate the spatial variable and the backward Euler scheme to discretize the time derivatives. We treat the unilateral contact conditions by using an augmented Lagrangian approach. We implement this scheme in a numerical code then we present numerical simulations in the study of two-dimensional test problems, together with various comments and interpretations.  相似文献

随着计算流体力学的快速发展,设计精确、高效并且健壮的数值格式变得尤为重要.通过对3种流行的通量分裂方法(AUSM、Zha-Bilgen和Toro-Vázquez)的对流通量和压力通量进行特征分析,构造了一种简单、低耗散并且健壮的通量分裂格式(命名为R-ZB格式).采用Zha-Bilgen分裂方法将Euler方程的通量分裂成对流通量和压力通量,其中对流通量采用迎风方法来计算,压力通量采用低耗散的HLL格式来计算,从而克服了原始的HLL格式不能精确分辨接触间断的缺点.数值实验表明,该文给出的R-ZB格式不仅保留了原始Zha-Bilgen格式简单高效、能够精确分辨接触间断等优点,而且具有更好的健壮性,在计算二维问题时不会出现数值激波不稳定现象.  相似文献

We consider a mathematical model which describes the dynamic process of contact between a piezoelectric body and an electrically conductive foundation. We model the material’s behavior with a nonlinear electro-viscoelastic constitutive law; the contact is frictionless and is described with the normal compliance condition and a regularized electrical conductivity condition. We derive a variational formulation for the problem and then, under a smallness assumption on the data, we prove the existence of a unique weak solution to the model. We also investigate the behavior of the solution with respect the electric data on the contact surface and prove a continuous dependence result. Then, we introduce a fully discrete scheme, based on the finite element method to approximate the spatial variable and the backward Euler scheme to discretize the time derivatives. We treat the contact by using a penalized approach and a version of Newton’s method. We implement this scheme in a numerical code and, in order to verify its accuracy, we present numerical simulations in the study of two-dimensional test problems. These simulations provide a numerical validation of our continuous dependence result and illustrate the effects of the conductivity of the foundation, as well.  相似文献

In this paper we derive a variational integrator for nonsmooth mechanical systems by discretizing the principle of virtual action with finite elements in time. After the discretization with local finite elements, the constitutive laws for the contact forces are introduced as in Moreau's time stepping scheme. This derivation shows exemplary how variational integrators for systems with frictional unilateral constraints can be derived. In this study, we propose a fully discrete energy stable scheme for the phase-field moving contact line model with variable densities and viscosities. The mathematical model comprises a Cahn–Hilliard equation, Navier–Stokes equation, and the generalized Navier boundary condition for the moving contact line. A scalar auxiliary variable is employed to transform the governing system into an equivalent form, thereby allowing the double well potential to be treated semi-explicitly. A stabilization term is added to balance the explicit nonlinear term originating from the surface energy at the fluid–solid interface. A pressure stabilization method is used to decouple the velocity and pressure computations. Some subtle implicit–explicit treatments are employed to deal with convention and stress terms. We establish a rigorous proof of the energy stability for the proposed time-marching scheme. A finite difference method based on staggered grids is then used to spatially discretize the constructed time-marching scheme. We also prove that the fully discrete scheme satisfies the discrete energy dissipation law. Our numerical results demonstrate the accuracy and energy stability of the proposed scheme. Using our numerical scheme, we analyze the contact line dynamics based on a shear flow-driven droplet sliding case. Three-dimensional droplet spreading is also investigated based on a chemically patterned surface. Our numerical simulation accurately predicts the expected energy evolution and it successfully reproduces the expected phenomena where an oil droplet contracts inward on a hydrophobic zone and then spreads outward rapidly on a hydrophilic zone.  相似文献

A unilateral contact problem between elastic bodies at small strains glued by a brittle adhesive is addressed in the quasistatic rate-independent setting. The delamination process is modeled as governed by stresses rather than by energies. This leads to a specific scaling of an approximating elastic adhesive contact problem, discretized by a semi-implicit scheme and regularized by a BV-type gradient term. An analytical zero-dimensional example motivates the model and a specific local-solution concept. Two-dimensional numerical simulations performed on an engineering benchmark problem of debonding a fiber in an elastic matrix further illustrate the validity of the model, convergence, and algorithmical efficiency even for very rigid adhesives with high elastic moduli.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a dynamic contact model with long memory which allows both the convex potential and nonconvex superpotentials to depend on history-dependent operators. The deformable body consists of a viscoelastic material with long memory and the process is assumed to be dynamic. The contact involves a nonmonotone Clarke subdifferential boundary condition and the friction is modeled by a version of the Coulomb's law of dry friction with the friction bound depending on the total slip. We introduce and study a fully discrete scheme of the problem, and derive error estimates for numerical solutions. Under appropriate solution regularity assumptions, an optimal order error estimate is derived for the linear finite element method. This theoretical result is illustrated numerically.  相似文献

给出了一种真正多维的HLL Riemann解法器.采用TV(Toro-Vázquez)分裂将通量分裂成对流通量和压力通量,其中对流通量的计算采用类似于AUSM格式的迎风方法,压力通量的计算采用波速基于压力系统特征值的HLL格式,并将HLL格式耗散项中的密度差用压力差代替,来克服传统的HLL格式不能分辨接触间断的缺点.为了实现数值格式真正多维的特性,分别计算网格界面中点和角点上的数值通量,并且采用Simpson公式加权中点和角点上的数值通量来得到网格界面上的数值通量.采用基于SDWLS(solution dependent weighted least squares)梯度的线性重构来获得空间的二阶精度,时间离散采用二阶Runge-Kutta格式.数值实验表明,相比于传统的一维HLL格式,该文的真正多维HLL格式具有能够分辨接触间断,消除慢行激波波后振荡以及更大的时间步长等优点.并且,与其他能够分辨接触间断的格式(例如HLLC格式)不同的是,真正多维的HLL格式在计算二维问题时不会出现数值激波不稳定现象.  相似文献

We consider a mathematical model which describes the frictional contact between a viscoelastic body and a reactive foundation. The process is assumed to be dynamic and the contact is modeled with a general normal damped response condition and a local friction law. We present a variational formulation of the problem and prove the existence and uniqueness of the weak solution, using results on evolution equations with monotone operators and a fixed point argument. We then introduce and study a fully discrete numerical approximation scheme of the variational problem, in terms of the velocity variable. The numerical scheme has a unique solution. We derive error estimates under additional regularity assumptions on the data and the solution.  相似文献
