In this paper, the capacitated location-routing problem with fuzzy demands (CLRP-FD) is considered. In CLRP-FD, facility location problem (FLP) and vehicle routing problem (VRP) are observed simultaneously. Indeed, the vehicles and the depots have a predefined capacity to serve the customers that have fuzzy demands. To model this problem, a fuzzy chance constrained programming model of that is designed based upon the fuzzy credibility theory. To solve this problem, a greedy clustering method (GCM) including the stochastic simulation is proposed. To obtain the best value of the dispatcher preference index of the model and to analyze its influence on the final solution, numerical experiments are carried out. Finally, to show the performance of the greedy clustering method, associated results are compared with the lower bound of the solutions.  相似文献

In this paper, the vehicle routing problem with fuzzy demands (VRPFD) is considered, and a fuzzy chance constrained program model is designed, based on fuzzy credibility theory. Then stochastic simulation and differential evolution algorithm are integrated to design a hybrid intelligent algorithm to solve the fuzzy chance constrained program model. Moreover, the influence of the dispatcher preference index on the final objective of the problem is discussed using stochastic simulation, and the best value of the dispatcher preference index is obtained.  相似文献

We consider the problem of finding the optimal routing of a single vehicle that delivers K different products to N customers according to a particular customer order. The demands of the customers for each product are assumed to be random variables with known distributions. Each product type is stored in its dedicated compartment in the vehicle. Using a suitable dynamic programming algorithm we find the policy that satisfies the demands of the customers with the minimum total expected cost. We also prove that this policy has a specific threshold-type structure. Furthermore, we investigate a corresponding infinite-time horizon problem in which the service of the customers does not stop when the last customer has been serviced but it continues indefinitely with the same customer order. It is assumed that the demands of the customers at different tours have the same distributions. It is shown that the discounted-cost optimal policy and the average-cost optimal policy have the same threshold-type structure as the optimal policy in the original problem. The theoretical results are illustrated by numerical examples.  相似文献

In this article, a capacitated location allocation problem is considered in which the demands and the locations of the customers are uncertain. The demands are assumed fuzzy, the locations follow a normal probability distribution, and the distances between the locations and the customers are taken Euclidean and squared Euclidean. The fuzzy expected cost programming, the fuzzy β-cost minimization model, and the credibility maximization model are three types of fuzzy programming that are developed to model the problem. Moreover, two closed-form Euclidean and squared Euclidean expressions are used to evaluate the expected distance between customers and facilities. In order to solve the problem at hand, a hybrid intelligent algorithm is applied in which the simplex algorithm, fuzzy simulation, and a modified genetic algorithm are integrated. Finally, in order to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed hybrid algorithm, some numerical examples are presented.  相似文献

We consider the problem of routing vehicles stationed at a central facility (depot) to supply customers with known demands, in such a way as to minimize the total distance travelled. The problem is referred to as the vehicle routing problem (VRP) and is a generalization of the multiple travelling salesman problem that has many practical applications. We present tree search algorithms for the exact solution of the VRP incorporating lower bounds computed from (i) shortest spanningk-degree centre tree (k-DCT), and (ii)q-routes. The final algorithms also include problem reduction and dominance tests. Computational results are presented for a number of problems derived from the literature. The results show that the bounds derived from theq-routes are superior to those fromk-DCT and that VRPs of up to about 25 customers can be solved exactly.  相似文献

This paper considers the mobile facility routing and scheduling problem with stochastic demand (MFRSPSD). The MFRSPSD simultaneously determines the route and schedule of a fleet of mobile facilities which serve customers with uncertain demand to minimize the total cost generated during the planning horizon. The problem is formulated as a two-stage stochastic programming model, in which the first stage decision deals with the temporal and spatial movement of MFs and the second stage handles how MFs serve customer demands. An algorithm based on the multicut version of the L-shaped method is proposed in which several lower bound inequalities are developed and incorporated into the master program. The computational results show that the algorithm yields a tighter lower bound and converges faster to the optimal solution. The result of a sensitivity analysis further indicates that in dealing with stochastic demand the two-stage stochastic programming approach has a distinctive advantage over the model considering only the average demand in terms of cost reduction.  相似文献

Facility location-allocation problem aims at determining the locations of some facilities to serve a set of spatially distributed customers and the allocation of each customer to the facilities such that the total transportation cost is minimized. In real life, the facility location-allocation problem often comes with uncertainty for lack of the information about the customers’ demands. Within the framework of uncertainty theory, this paper proposes an uncertain facility location-allocation model by means of chance-constraints, in which the customers’ demands are assumed to be uncertain variables. An equivalent crisp model is obtained via the \(\alpha \) -optimistic criterion of the total transportation cost. Besides, a hybrid intelligent algorithm is designed to solve the uncertain facility location-allocation problem, and its viability and effectiveness are illustrated by a numerical example.  相似文献

研究了基于交通流的多模糊时间窗车辆路径问题,考虑了实际中不断变化的交通流以及客户具有多个模糊时间窗的情况,以最小化配送总成本和最大化客户满意度为目标,构建基于交通流的多模糊时间窗车辆路径模型。根据伊藤算法的基本原理,设计了求解该模型的改进伊藤算法,结合仿真算例进行了模拟计算,并与蚁群算法的计算结果进行了对比分析,结果表明,利用改进伊藤算法求解基于交通流的多模糊时间窗车辆路径问题,迭代次数小,效率更高,能够在较短的时间内收敛到全局最优解,可以有效的求解多模糊时间窗车辆路径问题。  相似文献

This paper presents a multi-period vehicle routing problem for a large-scale production and distribution network. The vehicles must be routed in such a way as to minimize travel and inventory costs over a multi-period horizon, while also taking retailer demands and the availability of products at a central production facility into account. The network is composed of one distribution center and hundreds of retailers. Each retailer has its demand schedule representing the total number of units of a given product that should have been received on a given day. Many high value products are distributed. Product availability is determined by the production facility, whose production schedule determines how many units of each product must be available on a given day. To distribute these products, the routes of a heterogeneous fleet must be determined for a multiple period horizon. The objective of our research is to minimize the cost of distributing products to the retailers and the cost of maintaining inventory at the facility. In addition to considering product availability, the routing schedule must respect many constraints, such as capacity restrictions on the routes and the possibility of multiple vehicle trips over the time horizon. In the situation studied, no more than 20 product units could be carried by a single vehicle, which generally limited the number of retailers that could be supplied to one or two per route. This article proposes a mathematical formulation, as well as some heuristics, for solving this single-retailer-route vehicle routing problem. Extensions are then proposed to deal with the multiple-retailer-route situation.  相似文献

In this paper, a vehicle routing problem with interval demands is investigated based on the motivation of dispatching vehicles to deliver perishable products in practice. A nonlinear interval-based programming method is used to build a model for the vehicle routing problem with interval demands, which assumes that demands of customers are uncertain but fall in given intervals and actual demand of a customer becomes known only when the vehicle visited the customer. A vehicle-coordinated strategy was designed to solve the service failure problem. A hybrid algorithm based on the artificial immune system is also proposed to solve the model for vehicle routing problem with interval demands. The validity of methods and sensitivity analysis are illustrated by conducting some numerical examples. We find that the tolerant possibility degree of interval number has significant impacts on the distances. The planned distance strictly increased, while the additional distance strictly decreased and the total distance after coordinated transport has a U-typed relationship with the tolerant possibility degree of interval number.  相似文献

The vehicle routing problem (VRP) is a combinatorial optimization management problem that seeks the optimal set of routes traversed by a vehicle to deliver products to customers. A recognized problem in this domain is to serve ‘prioritized’ customers in the shortest possible time where customers with known demands are supplied by one or several depots. This problem is known as the Vehicle Routing with Prioritized Customers (VRPC). The purpose of this work is to present and compare two artificial intelligence-based novel methods that minimize the traveling distance of vehicles when moving cargo to prioritized customers. Various studies have been conducted regarding this topic; nevertheless, up to now, few studies used the Cuckoo Search-based hyper-heuristic. This paper modifies a classical mathematical model that represents the VRPC, implements and tests an evolutionary Cuckoo Search-based hyper-heuristic, and then compares the results with those of our proposed modified version of the Clarke Wright (CW) algorithm. In this modified version, the CW algorithm serves all customers per their preassigned priorities while covering the needed working hours. The results indicate that the solution selected by the Cuckoo Search-based hyper-heuristic outperformed the modified Clarke Wright algorithm while taking into consideration the customers’ priority and demands and the vehicle capacity.

In this paper we consider the problem of physically distributing finished goods from a central facility to geographically dispersed customers, which pose daily demands for items produced in the facility and act as sales points for consumers. The management of the facility is responsible for satisfying all demand, and promises deliveries to the customers within fixed time intervals that represent the earliest and latest times during the day that a delivery can take place. We formulate a comprehensive mathematical model to capture all aspects of the problem, and incorporate in the model all critical practical concerns such as vehicle capacity, delivery time intervals and all relevant costs. The model, which is a case of the vehicle routing problem with time windows, is solved using a new heuristic technique. Our solution method, which is based upon Atkinson's greedy look-ahead heuristic, enhances traditional vehicle routing approaches, and provides surprisingly good performance results with respect to a set of standard test problems from the literature. The approach is used to determine the vehicle fleet size and the daily route of each vehicle in an industrial example from the food industry. This actual problem, with approximately two thousand customers, is presented and solved by our heuristic, using an interface to a Geographical Information System to determine inter-customer and depot–customer distances. The results indicate that the method is well suited for determining the required number of vehicles and the delivery schedules on a daily basis, in real life applications.  相似文献

We consider the problem of finding the optimal routing of a single vehicle that starts its route from a depot and picks up from and delivers K different products to N customers that are served according to a predefined customer sequence. The vehicle is allowed during its route to return to the depot to unload returned products and restock with new products. The items of all products are of the same size. For each customer the demands for the products that are delivered by the vehicle and the quantity of the products that is returned to the vehicle are discrete random variables with known joint distribution. Under a suitable cost structure, it is shown that the optimal policy that serves all customers has a specific threshold-type structure. We also study a corresponding infinite-time horizon problem in which the service of the customers is not completed when the last customer has been serviced but it continues indefinitely with the same customer order. For each customer, the joint distribution of the quantities that are delivered and the quantity that is picked up is the same at each cycle. The discounted-cost optimal policy and the average-cost optimal policy have the same structure as the optimal policy in the finite-horizon problem. Facility location-allocation (FLA) problem has been widely studied by operational researchers due to its many practical applications. Many researchers have studied the FLA problem in a deterministic environment. However, the models they proposed cannot accommodate satisfactorily various customer demands in the real world. Thus, we consider the FLA problem with uncertainties. In this paper, a new model named α-cost model under the Hurwicz criterion is presented with fuzzy demands. In order to solve this model, the simplex algorithm, fuzzy simulations and a genetic algorithm are integrated to produce a hybrid intelligent algorithm. Finally, some numerical examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.  相似文献

Most of the research on integrated inventory and routing problems ignores the case when products are perishable. However, considering the integrated problem with perishable goods is crucial since any discrepancy between the routing and inventory cost can double down the risk of higher obsolescence costs due to the limited shelf-life of the products. In this paper, we consider a distribution problem involving a depot, a set of customers and a homogeneous fleet of capacitated vehicles. Perishable goods are transported from the depot to customers in such a way that out-of-stock situations never occur. The objective is to simultaneously determine the inventory and routing decisions over a given time horizon such that total transportation cost is minimized. We present a new “arc-based formulation” for the problem which is deemed more suitable for our new tabu search based approach for solving the problem. We perform a thorough sensitivity analysis for each of the tabu search parameters individually and use the obtained gaps to fine-tune the parameter values that are used in solving larger sized instances of the problem. We solve different sizes of randomly generated instances and compare the results obtained using the tabu search algorithm to those obtained by solving the problem using CPLEX and a recently published column generation algorithm. Our computational experiments demonstrate that the tabu search algorithm is capable of obtaining a near-optimal solution in less computational time than the time required to solve the problem to optimality using CPLEX, and outperforms the column generation algorithm for solving the “path flow formulation” of the problem in terms of solution quality in almost all of the considered instances.  相似文献

We introduce the time constrained maximal covering salesman problem (TCMCSP) which is the generalization of the covering salesman and orienting problems. In this problem, we are given a set of vertices including a central depot, customer and facility vertices where each facility can supply the demand of some customers within its pre-determined coverage distance. Starting from the depot, the goal is to maximize the total number of covered customers by constructing a length constrained Hamiltonian cycle over a subset of facilities. We propose several mathematical programming models for the studied problem followed by a heuristic algorithm. The developed algorithm takes advantage of different procedures including swap, deletion, extraction-insertion and perturbation. Finally, an integer linear programming based improvement technique is designed to try to improve the quality of the solutions. Extensive computational experiments on a set of randomly generated instances indicate the effectiveness of the algorithm.  相似文献

In the PCVRP each route is required to be pyramidal in a sense generalized from the pyramidal traveling salesman problem (PTSP). This paper develops a fuzzy multi-period production planning and sourcing problem with credibility objective, in which a manufacturer has a number of plants or subcontractors. According to the credibility service levels set by customers in advance, the manufacturer has to satisfy different product demands. In the proposed production problem, production cost, inventory cost and product demands are uncertain and characterized by fuzzy variables. The problem is to determine when and how many products are manufactured so as to maximize the credibility of the fuzzy costs not exceeding a given allowable invested capital, and this credibility can be regarded as the investment risk criteria in fuzzy decision systems. In the case when the fuzzy parameters are mutually independent gamma distributions, we can turn the service level constraints into their equivalent deterministic forms. However, in this situation the exact analytical expression for the credibility objective is unavailable, thus conventional optimization algorithms cannot be used to solve our production planning problems. To overcome this obstacle, we adopt an approximation scheme to compute the credibility objective, and deal with the convergence about the computational method. Furthermore, we develop two heuristic solution methods. The first is a combination of the approximation method and a particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm, and the second is a hybrid algorithm by integrating the approximation method, a neural network (NN), and the PSO algorithm. Finally, we consider one 6-product source, 6-period production planning problem, and compare the effectiveness of two algorithms via numerical experiments.  相似文献

为提高应急设施运行的可靠性和抵御中断风险的能力, 研究中断情境下的应急设施选址-分配决策问题。扩展传统无容量限制的固定费用选址模型, 从抵御设施中断的视角和提高服务质量的视角建立选址布局网络的双目标优化模型, 以应急设施的建立成本和抵御设施中断的加固成本最小为目标, 以最大化覆盖服务质量水平为目标, 在加固预算有限及最大最小容量限制约束下, 构建中断情境下应急设施的可靠性选址决策优化模型。针对所构建模型的特性利用非支配排序多目标遗传算法(NSGA-Ⅱ)求解该模型, 得到多目标的Pareto前沿解集。以不同的算例分析和验证模型和算法的可行性。在获得Pareto前沿的同时对不同中断概率进行灵敏度分析, 给出Pareto最优解集的分布及应急设施选址布局网络的拓扑结构。  相似文献
