In this paper it is proved that let G(X,Y) be a bipartite graph with A(?)X and B(?)Y, and let k be an integer such that max{|A|, |B|}≤k≤min {|X|,|Y|}, then G contains a matching of k edges saturating both A and B iff for all S(?)X, (i) min{|N(S)| |X|-k, |N_B(S)| |X|-|B|}≥|S| and (ii) min{|N(S∩A)|,|N_B(S∩A)| k-|B|}≥|B∩A|, where N_B(S∩A)=N(S∩A∩B).It extends the theorems of Ore, Chen, Hoffman and Kuhn.  相似文献

Let G be a connected graph with vertex-set V(G)and edge-set E(G).A subset F of E(G)is an s-restricted edge-cut of G if G-F is disconnected and every component of G-F has at least s vertices.Letλs(G)be the minimum size of all s-restricted edge-cuts of G andξs(G)=min{|[X,V(G)\X]|:|X|=s,G[X]is connected},where[X,V(G)\X]is the set of edges with exactly one end in X.A graph G with an s-restricted edge-cut is called super s-restricted edge-connected,in short super-λs,ifλs(G)=ξs(G)and every minimum s-restricted edge-cut of G isolates one component G[X]with|X|=s.It is proved in this paper that a connected vertex-transitive graph G with degree k5 and girth g5 is super-λs for any positive integer s with s 2g or s 10 if k=g=6.  相似文献

For two integers l 0 and k ≥ 0,define C(l,k) to be the family of 2-edge connected graphs such that a graph G ∈ C(l,k) if and only if for every bond S-E(G) with |S| ≤ 3,each component of G-S has order at least(|V(G)|-k)/l.In this note we prove that if a 3-edge-connected simple graph G is in C(10,3),then G is supereulerian if and only if G cannot be contracted to the Petersen graph.Our result extends an earlier result in [Supereulerian graphs and Petersen graph.JCMCC 1991,9:79-89] by Chen.  相似文献

I. Cahit calls a graph H-cordial if it is possible to label the edges with the numbers from the set{1,-1} in such a way that, for some k, at each vertex v the sum of the labels on the edges incident with v is either k or-k and the inequalities |v(k)-v(-k)| ≤ 1 and|e(1)-e(-1)| ≤ 1 are also satisfied. A graph G is called to be semi-H-cordial, if there exists a labeling f, such that for each vertex v, |f(v)| ≤ 1, and the inequalities |e_f(1)-e_f(-1)| ≤ 1 and |vf(1)-vf(-1)| ≤ 1 are also satisfied. An odd-degree(even-degree) graph is a graph that all of the vertex is odd(even) vertex. Three conclusions were proved:(1) An H-cordial graph G is either odd-degree graph or even-degree graph;(2) If G is an odd-degree graph, then G is H-cordial if and only if |E(G)| is even;(3) A graph G is semi-H-cordial if and only if |E(G)| is even and G has no Euler component with odd edges.  相似文献

Let G be a graph,for any u∈V(G),let N(u) denote the neighborhood of u and d(u)=|N(u)| be the degree of u. For any U V(G) ,let N(U)=Uu,∈UN(u), and d(U)=|N(U)|.A graph G is called claw-free if it has no induced subgraph isomorphic to K1.3. One of the fundamental results concerning cycles in claw-free graphs is due to Tian Feng,et al. : Let G be a 2-connected claw-free graph of order n,and d(u) d(v) d(w)≥n-2 for every independent vertex set {u,v,w} of G, then G is Hamiltonian. It is proved that, for any three positive integers s ,t and w,such that if G is a (s t w-1)connected claw-free graph of order n,and d(S) d(T) d(W)>n-(s t w) for every three disjoint independent vertex sets S,T,W with |S |=s, |T|=t, |W|=w,and S∪T∪W is also independent ,then G is Hamiltonian. Given a directed graph G and an edge weight function w : A(G)→ R^ , the maximum directed cut problem (MAX DICUT) is that of finding a directed cut δ(S) with maximum total weight. We consider a version of MAX DICUT -- MAX DICUT with given sizes of parts or MAX DICUT WITH GSP -- whose instance is that of MAX DICUT plus a positive integer k, and it is required to find a directed cut δ(S) having maximum weight over all cuts δ(S) with |S| -- k. We present an approximation algorithm for this problem which is based on semidefinite programming (SDP) relaxation. The algorithm achieves the presently best performance guarantee for a range of k.  相似文献

Let (G) be the collection of all spanning trees of a connected and weighted graph G,and F_1, F_2,…,F_m the partition of (G) such that F_i is the set of i-th maximal spanning trees of G.Kano conjectured that for any A∈F_1 and every integer k,1≤k≤m,there exists T∈F_k such that|T/A| k—l.This paper gives the conjecture a very simple proof,and related results.  相似文献

An edge-coloring of a graph G is an assignment of colors to all the edges of G.A g_c-coloring of a graph G is an edge-coloring of G such that each color appears at each vertex at least g(v)times.The maximum integer k such that G has a g_c-coloring with k colors is called the g_c-chromatic index of G and denoted by χ'g_c(G).In this paper,we extend a result on edge-covering coloring of Zhang and Liu in 2011,and give a new sufficient condition for a simple graph G to satisfy χ'g_c(G)=δ_g(G),where δ_g(G)=min_(v∈V(G) {└d(v)/g(v)┘ }).  相似文献
