In this paper, we study the asymptotic relation between the solutions to the initial boundary value problem of the one-dimensional compressible full Navier-Stokes equations with outflow boundary condition and the associated Euler equations. We assume all the three characteristics to the corresponding Euler equations are all negative up to some small time, then we prove the existence and the stability of the boundary layers as long as the strength of the boundary layers is suitably small.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the vanishing viscosity limit for a coupled Navier-Stokes/Allen-Cahn system in a bounded domain. We first show the local existence of smooth solutions of the Euler/Allen-Cahn equations by modified Galerkin method. Then using the boundary layer function to deal with the mismatch of the boundary conditions between Navier-Stokes and Euler equations, and assuming that the energy dissipation for Navier-Stokes equation in the boundary layer goes to zero as the viscosity tends to zero, we prove that the solutions of the Navier-Stokes/Allen-Cahn system converge to that of the Euler/Allen-Cahn system in a proper small time interval. In addition, for strong solutions of the Navier-Stokes/Allen-Cahn system in 2D, the convergence rate is cν1/2.  相似文献

In this paper, a one-dimensional bipolar Euler-Poisson system(a hydrodynamic model) from semiconductors or plasmas with boundary efects is considered. This system takes the form of Euler-Poisson with an electric field and frictional damping added to the momentum equations. The large-time behavior of uniformly bounded weak solutions to the initial-boundary value problem for the one-dimensional bipolar Euler-Poisson system is firstly presented. Next, two particle densities and the corresponding current momenta are verified to satisfy the porous medium equation and the classical Darcy’s law time asymptotically. Finally, as a by-product, the quasineutral limit of the weak solutions to the initial-boundary value problem is investigated in the sense that the bounded L∞entropy solution to the one-dimensional bipolar Euler-Poisson system converges to that of the corresponding one-dimensional compressible Euler equations with damping exponentially fast as t → +∞. As far as we know, this is the first result about the asymptotic behavior and the quasineutral limit for the one-dimensional bipolar Euler-Poisson system with boundary efects and a vacuum.  相似文献

本文推广钱伟长在[5]中提出的合成展开法分析双参数边界层问题. 对于受均布荷载作用的球壳对称变形问题,其非线性平衡方程可以写成(2.3a),(2.3b):式中ε与δ是待定参数.当δ=1,ε是小参数时,这是第一边界层问题:当δ与ε都县小参数时.这是第二边界层问题. 对于上述问题,我们假定ε,δ和p满足ε3pδ=1-ε在这个条件下,应用推广的合成展开法,求出上述问题具有固定边界条件情况的渐近解.  相似文献

The main purpose of this paper is to study the asymptotic equivalence of the Boltzmann equation for the hard-sphere collision model to its corresponding Euler equations of compressible gas dynamics in the limit of small mean free path. When the fluid flow is a smooth rarefaction (or centered rarefaction) wave with finite strength, the corresponding Boltzmann solution exists globally in time, and the solution converges to the rarefaction wave uniformly for all time (or away from t=0) as ?→0. A decomposition of a Boltzmann solution into its macroscopic (fluid) part and microscopic (kinetic) part is adopted to rewrite the Boltzmann equation in a form of compressible Navier-Stokes equations with source terms. In this setting, the same asymptotic equivalence of the full compressible Navier-Stokes equations to its corresponding Euler equations in the limit of small viscosity and heat conductivity (depending on the viscosity) is also obtained.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a bipolar hydrodynamic model from semiconductor devices and plasmas, which takes the form of bipolar isentropic Euler–Poisson with electric field and frictional damping added to the momentum equations. We firstly prove the existence of the stationary solutions. Next, we present the global existence and the asymptotic behavior of smooth solutions to the initial boundary value problem for a one-dimensional case in a bounded domain. The result is shown by an elementary energy method. Compared with the corresponding initial data case, we find that the asymptotic state is the stationary solution.  相似文献

This paper deals with the numerical approximation of the solution of 1D parabolic singularly perturbed problems of reaction-diffusion type. The numerical method combines the standard implicit Euler method on a uniform mesh to discretize in time and a HODIE compact fourth order finite difference scheme to discretize in space, which is defined on a priori special meshes condensing the grid points in the boundary layer regions. The method is uniformly convergent having first order in time and almost fourth order in space. The analysis of the uniform convergence is made in two steps, splitting the contribution to the error from the time and the space discretization. Although this idea has been previously used to prove the uniform convergence for parabolic singularly perturbed problems, here the proof is based on a new study of the asymptotic behavior of the exact solution of the semidiscrete problems obtained after the time discretization by using the Euler method. Some numerical results are given corroborating in practice the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the uniqueness of globally subsonic compressible flows through an infinitely long axisymmetric nozzle. The flow is governed by the steady Euler equations and satisfies no-flow boundary conditions on the nozzle walls. We will show that for given mass flux and Bernoulli’s function in the upstream, the subsonic flow is unique in the class of all axisymmetric solutions, which possess the asymptotic behaviors at the far fields. This result extends the uniqueness of solutions in the previous paper Du and Duan (2011) [1].  相似文献
