We present an existence result for Lévy‐type processes which requires only weak regularity assumptions on the symbol with respect to the space variable x. Applications range from existence and uniqueness results for Lévy‐driven SDEs with Hölder continuous coefficients to existence results for stable‐like processes and Lévy‐type processes with symbols of variable order. Moreover, we obtain heat kernel estimates for a class of Lévy and Lévy‐type processes. The paper includes an extensive list of Lévy(‐type) processes satisfying the assumptions of our results.  相似文献

In this paper we study the spectral heat content for various Lévy processes. We establish the small time asymptotic behavior of the spectral heat content for Lévy processes of bounded variation in , . We also study the spectral heat content for arbitrary open sets of finite Lebesgue measure in with respect to symmetric Lévy processes of unbounded variation under certain conditions on their characteristic exponents. Finally, we establish that the small time asymptotic behavior of the spectral heat content is stable under integrable perturbations to the Lévy measure.  相似文献

An infinitely divisible distribution on is a probability measure μ such that the characteristic function has a Lévy–Khintchine representation with characteristic triplet , where ν is a Lévy measure, and . A natural extension of such distributions are quasi‐infinitely distributions. Instead of a Lévy measure, we assume that ν is a “signed Lévy measure”, for further information on the definition see [10]. We show that a distribution with and , where is the absolutely continuous part, is quasi‐infinitely divisible if and only if for every . We apply this to show that certain variance mixtures of mean zero normal distributions are quasi‐infinitely divisible distributions, and we give an example of a quasi‐infinitely divisible distribution that is not continuous but has infinite quasi‐Lévy measure. Furthermore, it is shown that replacing the signed Lévy measure by a seemingly more general complex Lévy measure does not lead to new distributions. Last but not least it is proven that the class of quasi‐infinitely divisible distributions is not open, but path‐connected in the space of probability measures with the Prokhorov metric.  相似文献

Let X be an n‐dimensional smooth projective variety with an n‐block collection , with , of coherent sheaves on X that generate the bounded derived category . We give a cohomological characterisation of torsion‐free sheaves on X that are the cohomology of monads of the form where . We apply the result to get a cohomological characterisation when X is the projective space, the smooth hyperquadric or the Fano threefold V5. We construct a family of monads on a Segre variety and apply our main result to this family.  相似文献

We study massive (reccurent) sets with respect to a certain random walk defined on the integer lattice , . Our random walk is obtained from the simple random walk S on by the procedure of discrete subordination. can be regarded as a discrete space and time counterpart of the symmetric α‐stable Lévy process in . In the case we show that some remarkable proper subsets of , e.g. the set of primes, are massive whereas some proper subsets of such as the Leitmann primes are massive/non‐massive depending on the function h. Our results can be regarded as an extension of the results of McKean (1961) about massiveness of the set of primes for the simple random walk in . In the case we study massiveness of thorns and their proper subsets. The case is presented in the recent paper Bendikov and Cygan 2 .  相似文献

We investigate sufficient and necessary conditions for the space of bounded linear operators between two Banach spaces to be rough or average rough. Our main result is that is δ‐average rough whenever is δ‐average rough and Y is alternatively octahedral. In this paper we study the existence of solutions for fractional Schrödinger equations of the form where V is a potential bounded and the nonlinear term has the critical exponential growth. We prove the existence of at least one weak solution by combining the mountain‐pass theorem with the Trudinger–Moser inequality and a version of a result due to Lions for critical growth in .  相似文献

We prove that the restriction to a sufficiently positive general complete intersection curve passing through a prescribed finite set of points remains semistable, provided that at each , the variety X is smooth and the factors of a Jordan–Hölder filtration of are locally free. We study regularity results for almost minimizers of the functional where is a matrix with Hölder continuous coefficients. In the case we show that an almost minimizer belongs to , where the exponent η is related with the competition between the Hölder continuity of the matrix , the parameter of almost minimization and γ. In some sense, this regularity is optimal. As far as the case is concerned, our results show that an almost minimizer is locally in each phase and , improving in some sense a recent result of David & Toro.  相似文献

In this paper, by the method of J. F. Li and X. J. Xu (Differential Harnack inequalities on Riemannian manifolds I: Linear heat equation, Adv. in Math., 226 (2011), 4456–4491 ), we shall consider the nonlinear parabolic equation on Riemannian manifolds with , . First of all, we shall derive the corresponding Li–Xu type gradient estimates of the positive solutions for . As applications, we deduce Liouville type theorem and Harnack inequality for some special cases. Besides, when , our results are different from Li and Yau's results. We also extend the results of J.
