Positive solutions of nonlinear Schrödinger equation with peaks on a Clifford torus

Abstract:We prove the existence of large energy positive solutions for a stationary nonlinear Schrödinger equation urn:x-wiley:0025584X:media:mana201400321:mana201400321-math-0001 with peaks on a Clifford type torus. Here urn:x-wiley:0025584X:media:mana201400321:mana201400321-math-0002 where urn:x-wiley:0025584X:media:mana201400321:mana201400321-math-0003 with urn:x-wiley:0025584X:media:mana201400321:mana201400321-math-0004 for all urn:x-wiley:0025584X:media:mana201400321:mana201400321-math-0005 urn:x-wiley:0025584X:media:mana201400321:mana201400321-math-0006 Each urn:x-wiley:0025584X:media:mana201400321:mana201400321-math-0007 is a function urn:x-wiley:0025584X:media:mana201400321:mana201400321-math-0008 and is defined by the generalized notion of spherical coordinates. The solutions are obtained by a urn:x-wiley:0025584X:media:mana201400321:mana201400321-math-0009 or a urn:x-wiley:0025584X:media:mana201400321:mana201400321-math-0010 process.
