A double line ${C \subset \mathbb{P}^3}$ is a connected divisor of type (2, 0) on a smooth quadric surface. Fix ${(a, c) \in \mathbb{N}^2\ \backslash\ \{(0, 0)\}}$ . Let ${X \subset \mathbb{P}^3}$ be a general disjoint union of a lines and c double lines. Then X has maximal rank, i.e. for each ${t \in \mathbb{Z}}$ either ${h^1(\mathcal{I}_X(t)) = 0}$ or ${h^0(\mathcal{I}_X(t)) = 0}$ .

Let Ω be a bounded domain in ${\mathbb{R}^2}$ with smooth boundary. We consider the following singular and critical elliptic problem with discontinuous nonlinearity: $$(P_\lambda)\left \{\begin{array}{ll} - \Delta u = \lambda \left(\frac{m(x, u) e^{\alpha{u}^2}}{|x|^{\beta}} + u^{q}g(u - a)\right),\quad{u} > 0 \quad {\rm in} \quad \Omega\\u \quad \quad = 0\quad {\rm on} \quad \partial \Omega \end{array}\right.$$ where ${0\leq q < 1 ,0< \alpha\leq4\pi}$ and ${\beta \in [0, 2)}$ such that ${\frac{\beta}{2} + \frac{\alpha}{4\pi} \leq 1}$ and ${{g(t - a) = \left\{\begin{array}{ll}1, t \leq a\\ 0, t > a.\end{array}\right.}}$ Under the suitable assumptions on m(x, t) we show the existence and multiplicity of solutions for maximal interval for λ.

We obtain the boundedness on ˙Fα,qp(Rn) for the Poisson summation and Gauss summation. Their maximal operators are proved to be bounded from˙Fα,qp(Rn) to L∞(Rn).For the maximal operator of the Bochner-Riesz summation, we prove that it is bounded from˙Fα,qp(Rn) to Lpnn-pα,∞(Rn).

This paper is concerned with iterative solution to general Sylvester-conjugate matrix equation of the form $\sum_{i = 1}^{s} A_{i}V + \sum_{j = 1}^{t} B_{j}W = \sum_{l = 1}^{m} E_{l}\overline{V}F_{l} + C$ . An iterative algorithm is established to solve this matrix equation. When this matrix equation is consistent, for any initial matrices, the solutions can be obtained within finite iterative steps in the absence of round off errors. Some lemmas and theorems are stated and proved where the iterative solutions are obtained. Finally, a numerical example is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

In this paper, the sharp estimates of all homogeneous expansions for f are established, where f(z) = (f 1(z), f 2(z), …, f n (z))′ is a k-fold symmetric quasi-convex mapping defined on the unit polydisk in ℂ n and

In this work, we investigate linear codes over the ring ${\mathbb{F}_2+u\mathbb{F}_2+v\mathbb{F}_2+uv\mathbb{F}_2}$ . We first analyze the structure of the ring and then define linear codes over this ring which turns out to be a ring that is not finite chain or principal ideal contrary to the rings that have hitherto been studied in coding theory. Lee weights and Gray maps for these codes are defined by extending on those introduced in works such as Betsumiya et al. (Discret Math 275:43–65, 2004) and Dougherty et al. (IEEE Trans Inf 45:32–45, 1999). We then characterize the ${\mathbb{F}_2+u\mathbb{F}_2+v\mathbb{F}_2+uv\mathbb{F}_2}$ -linearity of binary codes under the Gray map and give a main class of binary codes as an example of ${\mathbb{F}_2+u\mathbb{F}_2+v\mathbb{F}_2+uv\mathbb{F}_2}$ -linear codes. The duals and the complete weight enumerators for ${\mathbb{F}_2+u\mathbb{F}_2+v\mathbb{F}_2+uv\mathbb{F}_2}$ -linear codes are also defined after which MacWilliams-like identities for complete and Lee weight enumerators as well as for the ideal decompositions of linear codes over ${\mathbb{F}_2+u\mathbb{F}_2+v\mathbb{F}_2+uv\mathbb{F}_2}$ are obtained.

Let \mathfrakg \mathfrak{g} be a reductive Lie algebra and \mathfrakk ì \mathfrakg \mathfrak{k} \subset \mathfrak{g} be a reductive in \mathfrakg \mathfrak{g} subalgebra. A ( \mathfrakg,\mathfrakk \mathfrak{g},\mathfrak{k} )-module M is a \mathfrakg \mathfrak{g} -module for which any element mM is contained in a finite-dimensional \mathfrakk \mathfrak{k} -submodule of M. We say that a ( \mathfrakg,\mathfrakk \mathfrak{g},\mathfrak{k} )-module M is bounded if there exists a constant C M such that the Jordan-H?lder multiplicities of any simple finite-dimensional \mathfrakk \mathfrak{k} -module in every finite-dimensional \mathfrakk \mathfrak{k} -submodule of M are bounded by C M . In the present paper we describe explicitly all reductive in \mathfraks\mathfrakln \mathfrak{s}{\mathfrak{l}_n} subalgebras \mathfrakk \mathfrak{k} which admit a bounded simple infinite-dimensional ( \mathfraks\mathfrakln,\mathfrakk \mathfrak{s}{\mathfrak{l}_n},\mathfrak{k} )-module. Our technique is based on symplectic geometry and the notion of spherical variety. We also characterize the irreducible components of the associated varieties of simple bounded ( \mathfrakg,\mathfrakk \mathfrak{g},\mathfrak{k} )-modules.

We study the following mean field equation$$\Delta_{g}u+\rho\left(\frac{e^{u}}{\int_{\mathbb{S}^{2}}e^{u}d\mu}-\frac{1}{4\pi}\right)=0\ \ \mbox{in}\ \ \mathbb{S}^{2},$$where $\rho$ is a real parameter. We obtain the existence of multiple axially asymmetric solutions bifurcating from $u=0$ at the values $\rho=4n(n+1)\pi$ for any odd integer $n\geq3$.
