Continuous homogeneous selections of set-valued metric generalized inverses of linear operators in Banach spaces

In this paper,continuous homogeneous selections for the set-valued metric generalized inverses T of linear operators T in Banach spaces are investigated by means of the methods of geometry of Banach spaces.Necessary and sufficient conditions for bounded linear operators T to have continuous homogeneous selections for the set-valued metric generalized inverses T are given.The results are an answer to the problem posed by Nashed and Votruba.     

Almost simple groups with socle ~3D_4(q) act on finite linear spaces

After the classification of flag-transitive linear spaces, attention has now turned to line-transitive linear spaces. Such spaces are first divided into the point-imprimitive and the point-primitive, the first class is usually easy by the theorem of Delandtsheer and Doyen. The primitive ones are now subdivided, according to the O'Nan-Scotte theorem and some further work by Camina, into the socles which are an elementary abelian or non-abelian simple. In this paper, we consider the latter. Namely, T≤G≤Aut(T) and G acts line-transitively on finite linear spaces, where T is a non-abelian simple. We obtain some useful lemmas. In particular, we prove that when T is isomorphic to 3D4(q), then T is line-transitive, where q is a power of the prime p.     

INTERPOLATION OF Ba SPACES

In this paper we advance the interpolation theorems of linear operator in Ba spaces. The conception of Ba spaces was first put forward by Ding Xiaxi in his discussion on the prior estimate of Laplace operator in some classical domains and in his study of the embedding theorem of Orlicz-Sobolev spaces, higher dimensional singular

Parabolic equations with VMO coefficients in generalized Morrey spaces

In this paper, the authors establish the regularity in generalized Morrey spaces of solutions to parabolic equations with VMO coefficients by means of the theory of singular integrals and linear commutators.     

商不可分解Banach空间上线性算子的谱

This paper discusses the special properties of the spectrum of linear operators (in particular, bounded linear operators) on quotient indecomposable Banach spaces; shows that in such spaces generators of Co-groups are always bounded linear operators, and that generators of Co-semigroups satisfy the spectral mapping theorem; and gives an example to show that the generators of Co-semigroups in quotient indecomposable spaces are not necessarily bounded.     

A general two-function minimax theorem

A two-function minimax theorem is proved. In this result, the concavity-convexity conditions of both functions involve monotone transforms and mixing of functional values, and the ＂w- upwardness/w-downwardness＂ conditions; both spaces are required to be compact topological spaces but without linear structure. By this result, an open question proposed by Forgo and Joo in 1998 is answered.

We are concerned with the construction of regular spaces and hyper-spaces,and the characterization of continuous linear operators in such spaces.     

K-controllability and Approximate K-controllability of Nonlinear Neutral Systems in Banach Spaces

In this paper, K-controllability and approximate K-controllability of non- linear neutral differential equations in Banach spaces are studied. Sufficient conditions are established for each of these types of controllability. The results are obtained by using Leray-Schauder theory.

In this paper,the convergency of spline interpolation operators is obtained,these spline operators are determined by linear differential operators and constraint functionals.The errors of the interpolating spline with EHB fanctionals are estimated.The best approximation of linear functionals on W2^n spaces are investigated,which let to a useful computational method for the approximation solution of higher order linear differential equations with multipoint boundary value conditions.     

An elementary proof of the Karush–Kuhn–Tucker theorem in normed linear spaces for problems with a finite number of inequality constraints

We present an elementary proof of the Karush–Kuhn–Tucker theorem for the problem with a finite number of nonlinear inequality constraints in normed linear spaces under the linear independence constraint qualification. Most proofs in the literature rely on advanced concepts and results such as the convex separation theorem and Farkas, lemma. By contrast, the proofs given in this article, including a proof of the lemma, employ only basic results from linear algebra. The lemma derived in this article represents an independent theoretical result.     

Restricted Systems

Restricted systems are introduced and characterized. They are related with usual properties of spline spaces with relevant consequences in geometric modelling. It is a weaker property than local linear independence but it is preserved under a wide range of transformations.

本文利用随机内积空间方法给出了完备赋准范空间上一类无界线性随机算子的谱分解定理。此结果不仅推广了对称随机线性算子的谱分解定理，而且限于原情形也使其处理简明、清晰。

在线性空间中引入了仿射线性相关的概念,给出了它的特征刻画及若干重要性质,并用仿射线性相关性刻画了非齐线性方程组解的结构。     

Nonlinearity creates linear independence

Any number of linearly independent plane waves can be obtained by scaling, shifting and/or rotating a plane wave created from an activation function. We investigate the condition which ensures linear independence of the plane waves. In the case all the three procedures are combined, the linear independence can be proved by ad hoc methods for most of commonly used activation functions. The result can be used for proving structural uniqueness of neural networks and for implementing finite mapping by neural networks.This paper was supported in part by Grant 07252213 from Ministry of Education and Culture, Japan.     

Irrationality of the sums of zeta values

In this paper, we establish a lower bound for the dimension of the vector spaces spanned over ? by 1 and the sums of the values of the Riemann zeta function at even and odd points. As a consequence, we obtain numerical results on the irrationality and linear independence of the sums of zeta values at even and odd points from a given interval of the positive integers.     

A note on linear preservers of certain ranks of tensor products of matrices

In this note, we give a simple proof as well as an extension of a very recent result of B. Zheng, J. Xu and A. Fosner concerning linear maps between vector spaces of complex square matrices that preserve the rank of tensor products of matrices by using a structure theorem of R. Westwick on linear maps between tensor product spaces that preserve non-zero decomposable elements.     

Suzuki群Sz(q)和线性空间的自同构群

本文研究了线性空间的几乎单的线传递自同构群.利用有限线性空间上线传递自同构群的经典结论,以及Suzuki群Sz(q)的性质,获得了线性空间上线传递且点本原的自同构群的基柱不是Sz(q)的结果,推广了关于线传递性空间的已有结果.     

拓扑线性空间中的Drop定理与Drop性质

给出了拓扑线性空间中的一个Drop定理.利用此Drop定理,证明了拓扑线性空间中的每个序列紧凸集具有Drop性质;每个可数紧闭凸集具有拟Drop性质.而且结出了拓扑线性空间中Drop性质和拟Drop性质的序列流特征.也讨论了Drop性质和拟Drop性质与泛函取极值之间的联系.     

一类不可分解Banach空间上线性算子的谱性质

给出一类不可分解的∑_e~1型Banach空间上线性算子(不一定有界)的谱结构,并讨论这种空间上生成C_0群或C_0半群的线性算子的有界性、特殊的谱性质和谱结构,还给出这种空间上闭算子是有界算子的一个充分条件。
