The authors establish an explicit formula for the generalized Euler NumbersE2n^(x), and obtain some identities and congruences involving the higher'order Euler numbers, Stirling numbers, the central factorial numbers and the values of the Riemann zeta-function.  相似文献

Here presented is a unified approach to generalized Stirling functions by using generalized factorial functions, k-Gamma functions, generalized divided difference, and the unified expression of Stirling numbers defined in [16]. Previous well-known Stirling functions introduced by Butzer and Hauss [4], Butzer, Kilbas, and Trujilloet [6] and others are included as particular cases of our generalization. Some basic properties related to our general pattern such as their recursive relations, generating functions, and asymptotic properties are discussed,which extend the corresponding results about the Stirling numbers shown in [21] to the defined Stirling functions.  相似文献

The matrix equation AXB = E with the constraint PX=sXP is considered,where P is a given Hermitian matrix satisfying p~2=I and s=±1.By an eigenvalue decomposition of P,the constrained problem can be equivalently transformed to a well-known unconstrained problem of matrix equation whose coefficient matrices contain the corresponding eigenvector, and hence the constrained problem can be solved in terms of the eigenvectors of P.A simple and eigenvector-free formula of the general solutions to the constrained problem by generalized inverses of the coefficient matrices A and B is presented.Moreover,a similar problem of the matrix equation with generalized constraint is discussed.  相似文献

A new class of bilevel generalized mixed equilibrium problems involving setvalued mappings is introduced and studied in a real Banach space. By using the auxiliary principle technique, new iterative algorithms for solving the generalized mixed equilibrium problems and bilevel generalized mixed equilibrium problems involving set-valued mappings are suggested and analyzed. Existence of solutions and strong convergence of the iterative sequences generated by the algorithms are proved under quite mild conditions. The behavior of the solution set of the generalized mixed equilibrium problems and bilevel generalized mixed equilibrium problems is also discussed. These results are new and generalize some recent results in this field.  相似文献

We consider the spectrally negative L@vy processes and determine the joint laws for the quantities such as the first and last passage times over a fixed level, the overshoots and undershoots at first passage, the minimum, the maximum, and the duration of negative values. We apply our results to insurance risk theory to find an explicit expression for the generalized expected discounted penalty function in terms of scale functions. Furthermore, a new expression for the generalized Dickson's formula is provided.  相似文献

The object of this article is to study and develop the generalized fractional calculus operators given by Saigo and Maeda in 1996. We establish generalized fractional calculus formulas involving the product of ■-function, Appell functionF3 and a general class of polynomials. The results obtained provide unification and extension of the results given by Saxena et al. [13], Srivastava and Grag [17], Srivastava et al. [20], and etc. The results are obtained in compact form and are useful in preparing some tables of operators of fractional calculus.On account of the general nature of the Saigo-Maeda operators, ■-function, and a general class of polynomials a large number of new and known results involving Saigo fractional calculus operators and several special functions notablyH-function,I-function, Mittag-Leffler function, generalized Wright hypergeometric function, generalized Bessel-Maitland function follow as special cases of our main findings.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a kind of sums involving Cauchy numbers, which have not been studied in the literature. By means of the method of coefficients, we give some properties of the sums. We further derive some recurrence relations and establish a series of identities involving the sums, Stirling numbers, generalized Bernoulli numbers, generalized Euler numbers, Lah numbers, and harmonic numbers. In particular, we generalize some relations between two kinds of Cauchy numbers and some identities for Cauchy numbers and Stirling numbers.  相似文献

We prove a general symmetric identity involving the degenerate Bernoulli polynomials and sums of generalized falling factorials, which unifies several known identities for Bernoulli and degenerate Bernoulli numbers and polynomials. We use this identity to describe some combinatorial relations between these polynomials and generalized factorial sums. As further applications we derive several identities, recurrences, and congruences involving the Bernoulli numbers, degenerate Bernoulli numbers, generalized factorial sums, Stirling numbers of the first kind, Bernoulli numbers of higher order, and Bernoulli numbers of the second kind.  相似文献

We study many properties of Cauchy numbers in terms of generating functions and Riordan arrays and find several new identities relating these numbers with Stirling, Bernoulli and harmonic numbers. We define the generalized potential polynomials associated to an independent variable, and prove an explicit formula involving the generalized potential polynomials and the exponential Bell polynomials. We use this formula to describe closed type formulas for the higher order Bernoulli, Eulerian, Euler, Genocchi, Apostol-Bernoulli, Apostol-Euler polynomials and the polynomials involving the Stirling numbers of the second kind. As further applications, we derive several known identities involving the Bernoulli numbers and polynomials and Euler polynomials, and new relations for the higher order tangent numbers, the higher order Bernoulli numbers of the second kind, the numbers , the higher order Bernoulli numbers and polynomials and the higher order Euler polynomials and their coefficients.  相似文献
