The hyperbolic function method for nonlinear wave equations is presented. In support of a computer algebra system, many exact solitary wave solutions of a class of nonlinear wave equations are obtained via the method. The method is based on the fact that the solitary wave solutions are essentially of a localized nature. Writing the solitary wave solutions of a nonlinear wave equation as the polynomials of hyperbolic functions, the nonlinear wave equation can be changed into a nonlinear system of algebraic equations. The system can be solved via Wu Elimination or Gr?bner base method. The exact solitary wave solutions of the nonlinear wave equation are obtained including many new exact solitary wave solutions.  相似文献

The multiple exact solutions for the nonlinear evolution equations describing the interaction of laser–plasma are developed. The extended hyperbolic function method are employed to reveal these new solutions. The solutions include that of the solitary wave solutions of bell-type for n and E, the solitary wave solutions of kink-type for E and bell-type for n, the solitary wave solutions of a compound of the bell-type and the kink-type for n and E, the singular traveling wave solutions, periodic traveling wave solutions of triangle function types, and solitary wave solutions of rational function types. In addition to re-deriving all known solutions in a systematic way, several new and more general solutions can be obtained by using our method.  相似文献

该文将机械化数学方法应用于偏微分方程领域,建立了构造一类非线性发展方程孤立波解的一种统一算法,并在计算机数学系统上加以实现,推导出了一批非线性发展方程的精确孤立波解.算法的基本原理是利用非线性发展方程孤立波解的局部性特点,将孤立波表示为双曲正切函数的多项式.从而将非线性发展方程(组)的求解问题转化为非线性代数方程组的求解问题.利用吴文俊消元法在计算机代数系统上求解非线性代数方程组,最终获得非线性发展方程(组)的准确孤立波解.  相似文献

The application of the Kudryashov method for finding exact solutions of the high order nonlinear evolution equations is considered. Some classes of solitary wave solutions for the families of nonlinear evolution equations of fifth, sixth and seventh order are obtained. In this paper, a sine-cosine method is used to construct many periodic and solitary wave solutions to two nonlinear evolution systems: the coupled quadratic nonlinear equations and the coupled Klein-Gordon-Schrödinger equations. Under different parameter conditions, explicit formulas for some new periodic and solitary wave solutions are successfully obtained. The proposed solutions are found to be important for the explanation of some practical physical problems.  相似文献

In this paper, new exact solutions with two arbitrary functions of the (2 + 1)-dimensional Konopelchenko-Dubrovsky equations are obtained by means of the Riccati equation and its generalized solitary wave solutions constructed by the Exp-function method. It is shown that the Exp-function method provides us with a straightforward and important mathematical tool for solving nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.  相似文献

With the aid of symbolic computation, auxiliary equation method is introduced to investigate modified forms of Camassa-Holm and Degasperis-Procesi equations. A series of new exact traveling wave solutions, including smooth solitary wave solution, peakons, singular solution, periodic wave solution, Jacobi elliptic solution, are obtained in general form. These new exact solutions will enrich previous results and help us further understand the physical structures of these two nonlinear equations.  相似文献

In this paper, complete group classification of a class of (1+1)-dimensional generalized quasi-linear wave equations is performed by using the Lie-Ovsiannikov method, additional equivalent transformation and furcate split method. Lie reductions of some truly ‘variable coefficient’ wave equations which are singled out from the classification results are investigated. Some classes of exact solutions of these ‘variable coefficient’ wave equations are constructed by means of both the reductions and the additional equivalent transformations. The nonclassical symmetries to the generalized quasi-linear wave equation are also studied. The (G'/G, 1/G)-expansion method for finding exact travelling wave solutions of nonlinear evolution equations, which can be thought of as an extension of the (G'/G)-expansion method proposed recently, is presented. By using this method abundant travelling wave so- lutions with arbitrary parameters of the Zakharov equations are successfully obtained. When the parameters are replaced by special values, the well-known solitary wave solutions of the equations are rediscovered from the travelling waves.  相似文献

Summary After a review of the existing state of affairs, an improvement is made in the stability theory for solitary-wave solutions of evolution equations of Korteweg-de Vries-type modelling the propagation of small-amplitude long waves. It is shown that the bulk of the solution emerging from initial data that is a small perturbation of an exact solitary wave travels at a speed close to that of the unperturbed solitary wave. This not unexpected result lends credibility to the presumption that the solution emanating from a perturbed solitary wave consists mainly of a nearby solitary wave. The result makes use of the existing stability theory together with certain small refinements, coupled with a new expression for the speed of propagation of the disturbance. The idea behind our result is also shown to be effective in the context of one-dimensional regularized long-wave equations and multidimensional nonlinear Schr?dinger equations.  相似文献

The modified simple equation method is employed to find the exact solutions of the nonlinear Kolmogorov-Petrovskii-Piskunov (KPP) equation. When certain parameters of the equations are chosen to be special values, the solitary wave solutions are derived from the exact solutions. It is shown that the modified simple equation method provides an effective and powerful mathematical tool for solving nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.  相似文献

In this article, we establish new travelling wave solutions for the nonlinear loaded (3+1)-dimensional version of the Benjamin-Ono equation by the functional variable method. The performance of this method is reliable and effective and the method provides the exact solitary wave solutions and periodic wave solutions. The solution procedure is very simple and the traveling wave solutions are expressed by hyperbolic functions and trigonometric functions. After visualizing the graphs of the soliton solutions and the periodic wave solutions, the use of distinct values of random parameters is demonstrated to better understand their physical features. It has been shown that the method provides a very effective and powerful mathematical tool for solving nonlinear equations in mathematical physics.  相似文献
