It is well-known that the classes of starlike, convex and close-to-convex univalent functions are closed under convolution with convex functions. In this paper, closure properties under convolution of general classes of meromorphic p-valent functions that are either starlike, convex or close-to-convex with respect to n-ply symmetric, conjugate and symmetric conjugate points are investigated.  相似文献

A general version of the Radó-Kneser-Choquet theorem implies that a piecewise constant sense-preserving mapping of the unit circle onto the vertices of a convex polygon extends to a univalent harmonic mapping of the unit disk onto the polygonal domain. This paper discusses similarly generated harmonic mappings of the disk onto nonconvex polygonal regions in the shape of regular stars. Calculation of the Blaschke product dilatation allows a determination of the exact range of parameters that produce univalent mappings.  相似文献

The conformal deformations are contained in two classes of mappings quasiconformal and harmonic mappings. In this paper we consider the intersection of these classes. We show that, every K quasiconformal harmonic mapping between surfaces with boundary is a Lipschitz mapping. This extends some recent results of several authors where the same problem has been considered for plane domains. As an application it is given an explicit Lipschitz constant of normalized isothermal coordinates of a disk-type minimal surface in terms of boundary curve only. It seems that this kind of estimates are new for conformal mappings of the unit disk onto a Jordan domain as well.  相似文献

The growth theorem and the 1/2-covering theorem are obtained for the class of normalized biholomorphic convex mappings on bounded convex circular domains, which extend the corresponding results of Sufridge, Thomas, Liu, Gong, Yu, and Wang. The approach is new, which does not appeal to the automorphisms of the domains; and the domains discussed are rather general on which convex mappings can be studied, since the domain may not have a convex mapping if it is not convex. 本文建立了Cn中单位多圆柱上近于凸映照子族和一类近于准凸映照全部项齐次展开式的精确估计.与此同时,作为推论给出了Cn中单位多圆柱上近于凸映照子族和一类近于准凸映照精确的增长定理和精确的偏差定理上界估计.所得主要结论表明Cn中单位多圆柱上关于近于凸映照子族和一类近于准凸映照的Bieberbach猜想成立,而且与单复变数的经典结论相一致.  相似文献

首先建立了C~n中单位多圆柱上一类近于凸映照子族精确的偏差定理,同时在复Banach空间单位球上也建立了该类映照精确的偏差定理的下界估计.其次在复Banach空间单位球上建立了准星形映照精确的偏差定理.所得结果将单复变中近于凸函数和星形函数的偏差定理推广至高维情形,并且对龚升提出的一个公开问题给出肯定的回答.  相似文献

A JS surface is a minimal graph over a polygonal domain that becomes infinite in magnitude at the domain boundary. Jenkins and Serrin characterized the existence of these minimal graphs in terms of the signs of the boundary values and the side-lengths of the polygon. For a convex polygon, there can be essentially only one JS surface, but a non-convex domain may admit several distinct JS surfaces. We consider two families of JS surfaces corresponding to different boundary values, namely JS0 and JS1, over domains in the form of regular stars. We give parameterizations for these surfaces as lifts of harmonic maps, and observe that all previously constructed JS surfaces have been of type JS0. We give an example of a JS1 surface that is a new complete embedded minimal surface generalizing Scherk's doubly periodic surface, and show also that the JS0 surface over a regular convex 2n-gon is the limit of JS1 surfaces over non-convex stars. Finally we consider the construction of other JS surfaces over stars that belong neither to JS0 nor to JS1.  相似文献

We prove several variations on the results of F. Ricci and G. Travaglini (2001), concerning bounds for convolution with all rotations of arc length measure on a fixed convex curve in . Estimates are obtained for averages over higher-dimensional convex (nonsmooth) hypersurfaces, smooth -dimensional surfaces, and nontranslation-invariant families of surfaces. We compare Ricci and Travaglini's approach, based on average decay of the Fourier transform, with an approach based on boundedness of Fourier integral operators, and show that essentially the same geometric condition arises in proofs using the two techniques.

In this article, we prove that every nonempty and convex pair of subsets of uniformly convex in every direction Banach spaces has the proximal normal structure and then we present a best proximity point theorem for cyclic relatively nonexpansive mappings in such spaces. We also study the structure of minimal sets of cyclic relatively nonexpansive mappings and obtain the existence results of best proximity points for cyclic mappings using some new geometric notions on minimal sets. Finally, we prove a best proximity point theorem for a new class of cyclic contraction-type mappings in the setting of uniformly convex Banach spaces and so, we improve the main conclusions of Eldred and Veeramani.  相似文献

The usual setting for Functional Analysis is the category LCS of locally convex topological vector spaces. There are, however, advantages in working in a larger setting, the category CVS of convergence vector spaces—even if one's interest is restricted to LCS. In CVS, one has access to a dual structure, continuous convergence, unavailable in LCS.

We show that theorems such as Grothendieck's completion theorem, Ptak's closed graph and open mapping theorems and the Banach-Steinhaus theorem are transformed from technical results in LCS to transparent and elegant results when examined in CVS with continuous convergence. In the theory of distributions, important bilinear mappings such as evaluations, multiplication and convolution, which are separately continuous when viewed in LCS, become jointly continuous in CVS.  相似文献

The Blaschke-Lebesgue Theorem states that among all planar convex domains of given constant width B the Reuleaux triangle has minimal area. It is the purpose of this article to give a direct proof of this theorem by analyzing the underlying variational problem. The advantages of the proof are that it shows uniqueness (modulo rigid deformations such as rotation and translation) and leads analytically to the shape of the area-minimizing domain. Most previous proofs have relied on foreknowledge of the minimizing domain. Key parts of the analysis extend to the higher-dimensional situation, where the convex body of given constant width and minimal volume is unknown.  相似文献

Functions f in the class $ K_H $ are convex, univalent, harmonic, and sense preserving in the unit disk. Such functions can be expressed as $ f = h + \overline {g} $ where h and g are analytic functions. If $ f \in K_H $ has $ h(0) = 0, g(0) = 0, h'(0) = 1$ , and $ g'(0) = 0 $ , then $ f \in K_H^0 $ . For $ f \in K_H^0 $ and } analytic in the unit disk, an integral representation for $ f\tilde {*}\varphi = h*\varphi + \overline {g*\varphi } $ is found. With } a strip mapping, $ f\tilde {*}\varphi $ is shown to be in $ K_H^0 $ . In a 1958 paper, Pólya and Schoenberg conjectured that if f and g are conformal mappings of the unit disk onto convex domains, then the Hadamard product f 2 g of f and g has the same property. It is known that the analogue of that result for harmonic mappings is false. In this paper, some examples are given in which the property of convexity is preserved for Hadamard products of certain convex harmonic mappings. In addition, an integral formula is used to determine the geometry of the Hadamard product from the geometry of the factors. This is true in particular for the convolution of strip mappings with certain functions $ f_n \in K_H^0 $ which take the unit disk to regular n -gons.  相似文献

In this paper, a class of biholomorphic mappings called complete quasiconvex mappings is introduced and studied in bounded convex Reinhardt domains of ℂ n . Through a detailed analysis of the analytic characterization for this class of mappings, it is shown that this class of mappings contains the convex mappings and is also a subset of the class of starlike mappings. In the special case of the polydisc, a decomposition theorem is established for the complete quasiconvex mappings, which in turn is used to derive an improved sufficient condition for the convex mappings.
