本文基于Pythagorean-hodograph (PH)曲线和代数双曲线的良好几何特性,构造了Pythagorean-Hodograph Hyperbolic (PH-H)曲线,并给出了PH-H曲线的定义以及相应性质.同时,分别利用Hyperbolic基函数和Algebraic Hyperbolic (AH) B\''ezier基函数,得到了平面三次AH B\''ezier曲线为PH曲线的两个不同的充要条件.此外,三次PH-H曲线也被用于求解具有确定解的$G^1$ Hermite插值问题.文中给出了具体实例来说明我们的方法.  相似文献

狭义相对论的变革点就是相对时空观,而相对论时空与非欧几何学有着密切的联系.在介绍了传统的Minkowski空间后,引入双曲虚单位,其所构造的双曲复数对应双曲Minkowski复空间.利用双曲Minkowski空间复数运算规则,可以使高速运动客体的物理规律与复数的性质结合起来,为解决狭义相对论的普遍形式提供新的数学工具.  相似文献

We present some global properties of Kaluza-Klein metrics. We state that the Kaluza-Klein metrics associated to globally hyperbolic spacetimes are globally hyperbolic. Applications to the solutions of the relativistic Lorentz equation are shown.  相似文献

In this paper we consider a hyperbolic equation, with a memory term in time, which can be seen as a singular perturbation of the heat equation with memory. The qualitative properties of the solutions of the initial boundary value problems associated with both equations are studied. We propose numerical methods for the hyperbolic and parabolic models and their stability properties are analyzed. Finally, we include numerical experiments illustrating the performance of those methods.  相似文献

A symplectic form is called hyperbolic if its pull-back to the universal cover is a differential of a bounded one-form. The present paper is concerned with the properties and constructions of manifolds admitting hyperbolic symplectic forms. The main results are:
• If a symplectic form represents a bounded cohomology class then it is hyperbolic.
• The symplectic hyperbolicity is equivalent to a certain isoperimetric inequality.
• The fundamental group of symplectically hyperbolic manifold is non-amenable.
We also construct hyperbolic symplectic forms on certain bundles and Lefschetz fibrations, discuss the dependence of the symplectic hyperbolicity on the fundamental group and discuss some properties of the group of symplectic diffeomorphisms of a symplectically hyperbolic manifold.

We construct spanning trees in locally finite hyperbolic graphs that represent their hyperbolic compactification in a good way: so that the tree has at least one but at most a bounded number of disjoint rays to each boundary point. As a corollary we extend a result of Gromov which says that from every hyperbolic graph with bounded degrees one can construct a tree (disjoint from the graph) with a continuous surjection from the ends of the tree onto the hyperbolic boundary such that the surjection is finite-to-one. We shall construct a tree with these properties as a subgraph of the hyperbolic graph, which in addition is also a spanning tree of that graph.  相似文献

This is the second part of the work devoted to the study of maps with decay in lattices. Here we apply the general theory developed in Fontich et al. (2011) [3] to the study of hyperbolic sets. In particular, we establish that any close enough perturbation with decay of an uncoupled lattice map with a hyperbolic set has also a hyperbolic set, with dynamics on the hyperbolic set conjugated to the corresponding of the uncoupled map. We also describe how the decay properties of the maps are inherited by the corresponding invariant manifolds.  相似文献

We consider a model problem for the secular growth, which covers all the cases likely to happen in multi-scales BKW expansions for nonlinear hyperbolic systems. This model problem consists in studying the growth in time of the solution of a nonhomogeneous hyperbolic system whose source term is a product of various functions which solve homogeneous hyperbolic systems. The secular growth is due to resonances, that we try to control. When this is not possible, other tools such as decay properties or Strichartz estimates must be used.  相似文献

A multiparameter family of fifth-order three-level schemes in time based on compact approximations is presented for solving evolution problems. The schemes are adapted to hyperbolic and parabolic equations and to stiff systems of ordinary differential equations. In the case of hyperbolic equations, a fifth-order accurate scheme in all variables with compact approximations of spatial derivatives is analyzed. Stability estimates are presented, and the dispersive and dissipative properties are examined.  相似文献

Summary The rigidity properties of the horospherical foliations of geometrically finite hyperbolic manifolds are investigated. Ratner's theorem generalizes to these foliations with respect to the Patterson-Sullivan measure. In the spirit of Mostow, we prove the nonexistence of invariant measurable distributions on the boundary of hyperbolic space for geometrically finite groups. In 2000, Bolotin and Treshchev proposed an invariant definition of the hyperbolic torus, generalizing the traditional coordinate definition. Simultaneously, they conjectured that, under standard assumptions on its Diophantine properties, nondegeneracy, and analyticity, the hyperbolic torus is conserved in the case of small perturbations. This conjecture generalizes Graff’s theorem. In the present paper, this conjecture is shown to be valid.  相似文献

We consider three kind of oscillatory properties of the solutions to semilinear degenerate hyperbolic equations. Several sufficient conditions for the oscillation or non-oscillation are presented. In particular, they give us the positivity of the solutions for semilinear hyperbolic equations degenerating at initial point in one space dimension. Moreover we establish a few oscillatory conditions for the solutions of the mixed problem reduced to in one space dimension.  相似文献

We examine ellipticity properties for three examples of constrained systems with a Lagrange multiplier. The system of incompressible elasticity is in the restricted context of the Grubb-Geymonat elliptic systems. The Reissner-Mindlin system of plates is in the Agmon-Douglis-Nirenberg context. The system of thin shells which are not geometrically rigid is elliptic or hyperbolic at elliptic or hyperbolic points of the surface, respectively; moreover, this property is only concerned with equations, without boundary conditions. Some properties of the wave fronts and propagation of singularities are given.  相似文献
