本文采用折现率为时间的函数下的递推多先验效用,研究Merton模型在带预期条件下的最优消费和投资组合决策问题,其中含糊与风险是有区别的.在幂效用函数情形下,刻画了投资者最优投资决策,表明了含糊厌恶和预期对最优投资的影响.最优投资组合决策由倒向随机微分方程和Malliavin导数导出.  相似文献

本文研究了投资者在极端事件冲击下带通胀的最优投资组合选择问题, 其中投资者不仅对损失风险是厌恶的而且对模型不确定也是厌恶的. 投资者在风险资产和无风险资产中进行投资. 首先, 利用Ito公式推导考虑通胀的消费篮子价格动力学方程, 其次由通胀折现的终端财富预期效用最大化, 对含糊厌恶投资者的最优期望效用进行刻画. 利用动态规划原理, 建立最优消费和投资策略所满足的HJB方程. 再次, 利用市场分解的方法解出HJB方程, 获得投资者最优消费和投资策略的显式解. 最后, 通过数值模拟, 分析了含糊厌恶、风险厌恶、跳和通胀因素对投资者最优资产配置策略的影响.  相似文献

以往关于资产组合选择的研究大多假设市场上存在无风险资产,但无风险资产实际上是不存在的.当不存在无风险资产时,假设投资者的效用定义在消费上,消费一直是投资者财富的一个固定比例,投资者的最优资产组合由两部分组成:短视的资产组合和对冲组合.假设只有股票和债券两种风险资产,当股票和债券的风险具有负的相关性时,投资者现在会消费更多,同时也会在股票上投资更多;两者正相关时,投资者无法降低风险,会减持股票并降低当前消费;两者不相关时,投资者持有的股票权重和存在无风险资产时一样.最后,还推导出了多种资产情况下最优消费和资产组合的解析表达式.  相似文献

研究了在经济代理人通过不可逆退休时间选择来调整劳动时间框架下的最优消费和投资问题,主要考虑风险资产派发红利的情形.运用随机控制方法,求解使得消费-闲暇预期效用最大化的最优策略.最优投资组合及最优退休时刻表明,代理人在为提前退休积累财富的同时,也能最佳享受消费和闲暇所带来的快乐.  相似文献

用均值-回复过程刻画股票价格变化,本文研究了股票收益可预测金融市场中的连续时间资产负债管理问题。运用动态规划方法,求得了最优资产负债管理策略的闭合解。结果表明,最优策略是风险溢价的线性函数,随着投资期限的缩短,股票上的投资金额不断降低。数值分析表明,投资期限、股票风险溢价和债务对于最优资产配置策略和股票风险溢价不确定性跨期对冲需求都存在显著影响。  相似文献

通货膨胀是投资者进行资产配置时面临的主要问题,其不仅会影响投资者的投资决策,也会对其投资收益产生重要影响.文章在CRRA(constant relative risk aversion)假设下,效用函数同时考虑了投资者的消费和最终财富.在约束条件下,文章求解了一般均衡时的最优消费和最优财富,与此同时得出t时刻财富与消费的比值实际上是年金债券的结论,并在此基础上得出了一般情况下的投资组合策略.当存在通货膨胀时,文章利用指数债券对冲通货膨胀风险,求解出远期期望消费和远期期望财富,最终得到通货膨胀条件下的投资组合策略.  相似文献

基于我国2002年到2012年的季度数据,本文使用广义矩估计方法检验了耐用品长期风险模型。模型参数依赖的状态变量不可观测,通过推导把状态变量表示成可以观测的指标价格红利比率,从而可以对模型参数进行估计。研究表明,投资者的风险厌恶系数和跨期替代弹性相互分离,模型能够有效刻画投资者的消费和投资行为特征。此外,模型预测成分对于红利增长率、市场收益率和股权溢价有较强的预测能力,而对消费增长率的预测能力有限。  相似文献

带有确定性参数的金融模型只能描述较短的时间内的状态演化,不能反映市场条件的变化.在投资过程中,投资者一般仅能够观察到资产的价格,不能直接观察到资产的平均收益率和波动率.考虑一个简化的连续时间的金融市场,这个市场带有无风险资产(债券)和风险资产(股票)两种资产.在债务为线性扩散模型下,利用Wonham滤波理论估计股票的平均收益率,研究了使得指数期望效用最大的最优投资组合选择问题.利用随机线性二次控制方法,得到最优投资组合策略和最大期望指数效用的显示解.  相似文献

研究资产价格带跳环境下红利支付对投资者资产配置的影响,投资者将其财富在风险资产和无风险资产中进行分配,在终端财富预期效用最大化标准下,利用动态规划原理建立的HJB方程推导最优配置策略,并得到最优动态资产配置策略的近似解.最后通过数值模拟,分析了跳和红利支付对投资者最优配置策略的影响.结果表明在跳发生的情况下,不管跳的大小和方向如何,投资者都会减少其在风险资产中的配置头寸,同时带有红利支付的资产比不带红利支付的资产对投资者更具吸引力.  相似文献

This paper solves an optimal portfolio selection problem in the discrete‐time setting where the states of the financial market cannot be completely observed, which breaks the common assumption that the states of the financial market are fully observable. The dynamics of the unobservable market state is formulated by a hidden Markov chain, and the return of the risky asset is modulated by the unobservable market state. Based on the observed information up to the decision moment, an investor wants to find the optimal multi‐period investment strategy to maximize the mean‐variance utility of the terminal wealth. By adopting a sufficient statistic, the portfolio optimization problem with incompletely observable information is converted into the one with completely observable information. The optimal investment strategy is derived by using the dynamic programming approach and the embedding technique, and the efficient frontier is also presented. Compared with the case when the market state can be completely observed, we find that the unobservable market state does decrease the investment value on the risky asset in average. Finally, numerical results illustrate the impact of the unobservable market state on the efficient frontier, the optimal investment strategy and the Sharpe ratio. This study examines the demand for index bonds and their role in hedging risky asset returns against currency risks in a complete market where equity is not hedged against inflation risk. Avellaneda's uncertain volatility model with non-constant coefficients to describe equity price variation, forward price variation, index bond price variation and rate of inflation, together with Merton's intertemporal portfolio choice model, are utilized to enable an investor to choose an optimal portfolio consisting of equity, nominal bonds and index bonds when the rate of inflation is uncertain. A hedge ratio is universal if investors in different countries hedge against currency risk to the same extent. Three universal hedge ratios (UHRs) are defined with respect to the investor's total demand for index bonds, hedging risky asset returns (i.e. equity and nominal bonds) against currency risk, which are not held for hedging purposes. These UHRs are hedge positions in foreign index bond portfolios, stated as a fraction of the national market portfolio. At equilibrium all the three UHRs are comparable to Black's corrected equilibrium hedging ratio. The Cameron-Martin-Girsanov theorem is applied to show that the Radon-Nikodym derivative given under a P -martingale, the investor's exchange rate (product of the two currencies) is a martingale. Therefore the investors can agree on a common hedging strategy to trade exchange rate risk irrespective of investor nationality. This makes the choice of the measurement currency irrelevant and the hedge ratio universal without affecting their values.  相似文献

This study examines joint decisions regarding risky asset allocation and consumption rate for a representative agent in the presence of background risk and insurance markets. Contrary to the conclusion of the “mutual fund separation theorem”, we show that the optimal risky asset mix will reflect an agent’s risk attitude as long as background risk is not independent of investment risk. This result can, however, be used to solve the “riskyasset allocation puzzle”. We also unveil that optimal insurance to shift background risk is determined through establishing a hedging portfolio against investment risk and is an arrangement maintaining the balance between growth and volatility of expected consumption. Because the optimal insurance we obtain generally leads to a smoother consumption path, it may plausibly explain the “equity premium puzzle” in the financial literature.  相似文献

We consider a portfolio optimization problem under stochastic volatility as well as stochastic interest rate on an infinite time horizon. It is assumed that risky asset prices follow geometric Brownian motion and both volatility and interest rate vary according to ergodic Markov diffusion processes and are correlated with risky asset price. We use an asymptotic method to obtain an optimal consumption and investment policy and find some characteristics of the policy depending upon the correlation between the underlying risky asset price and the stochastic interest rate.  相似文献

The valuation and hedging of participating life insurance policies, also known as with-profits policies, is considered. Such policies can be seen as European path-dependent contingent claims whose underlying security is the investment portfolio of the insurance company that sold the policy. The fair valuation of these policies is studied under the assumption that the insurance company has the right to modify the investment strategy of the underlying portfolio at any time. Furthermore, it is assumed that the issuer of the policy does not setup a separate portfolio to hedge the risk associated with the policy. Instead, the issuer will use its discretion about the investment strategy of the underlying portfolio to hedge shortfall risks. In that sense, the insurer’s investment portfolio serves simultaneously as the underlying security and as the hedge portfolio. This means that the hedging problem can not be separated from the valuation problem. We investigate the relationship between risk-neutral valuation and hedging of these policies in complete and incomplete financial markets.  相似文献

A portfolio optimization problem on an infinite-time horizon is considered. Risky asset prices obey a logarithmic Brownian motion and interest rates vary according to an ergodic Markov diffusion process. The goal is to choose optimal investment and consumption policies to maximize the infinite-horizon expected discounted hyperbolic absolute risk aversion (HARA) utility of consumption. The problem is then reduced to a one-dimensional stochastic control problem by virtue of the Girsanov transformation. A dynamic programming principle is used to derive the dynamic programming equation (DPE). The subsolution/supersolution method is used to obtain existence of solutions of the DPE. The solutions are then used to derive the optimal investment and consumption policies. In addition, for a special case, we obtain the results using the viscosity solution method.  相似文献
