Extensions of the D(?k2)-triples {k2, k2 ± 1, 4k2 ± 1}

Let n be a nonzero integer. A set of m distinct positive integers is called a D(n)-m-tuple if the product of any two of them increased by n is a perfect square. Let k be a positive integer. In this paper, we show that if {k ², k ² + 1, 4k ² + 1, d} is a D(−k ²)-quadruple, then d = 1, and that if {k ² − 1, k ², 4k ² − 1, d} is a D(k ²)-quadruple, then d = 8k ²(2k ² − 1).

关于方程ax+by=cz的Terai-Jesmanowicz猜想

设m是正整数,证明了(A)如果b是奇素数,且a=m3-3m,b=3m2-1,c=m2+1,那么丢番图方程ax+by=cz(1)仅有正整数解(x,y,z)=(2,2,3);(B)如果b是奇素数,且a=m|m4-10m2+5|,b=5m4-10m2+1,c=m2+1,那么丢番图方程(1)仅有正整数解(x,y,z)=(2,2,5).

Let Z₂ denote a cyclic group of 2 order and Z₂² = Z₂ ×Z₂ the direct product of groups. Suppose that (M, Φ) is a closed and smooth manifold M with a smooth Z₂² -action whose fixed point set is the disjoint union of two real projective spaces with the same dimension. In this paper, the authors give a sufficient condition on the fixed data of the action for (M, Φ) bounding equivariantly.     

Spreads and packings for a class of ((2n + 1)(2n − 1 − 1) + 1, 2n − 1, 1)-designs

Resolvable designs, especially those that are multiply resolvable, have been of interest for many years. This paper takes a class of BIBD's found by Denniston and constructs several spreads and packings of these designs. Interesting ties with inversive geometry are exhibited and utilized along the way.     

On Le’s and Bugeaud’s Papers about the Equation ax 2?+ b 2m?1 ?=?4 c p

Boundedness of Marcinkiewicz integrals and their commutators in H1 (?n × ?m)

The authors establish the boundedness of Marcinkiewicz integrals from the Hardy space H ¹ (ℝ ⁿ × ℝ ^m ) to the Lebesgue space L ¹(ℝ ⁿ × ℝ ^m ) and their commutators with Lipschitz functions from the Hardy space H ¹ (ℝ ⁿ × ℝ ^m ) to the Lebesgue space L ^q (ℝ ⁿ × ℝ ^m ) for some q > 1.
