Homogenization of Elliptic Problems with Neumann Boundary Conditions in Non-smooth Domains

We consider a family of second-order elliptic operators {L_ε} in divergence form with rapidly oscillating and periodic coefficients in Lipschitz and convex domains in R~n. We are able to show that the uniform W~(1,p) estimate of second order elliptic systems holds for 2n/(n+1)-δ p 2n/(n-1)+ δ where δ 0 is independent of ε and the ranges are sharp for n = 2, 3. And for elliptic equations in Lipschitz domains, the W~(1,p) estimate is true for 3/2-δ p 3 + δ if n ≥ 4, similar estimate was extended to convex domains for 1 p ∞.

Cubic vertex-transitive non-Cayley graphs of order 12p

A graph is said to be vertex-transitive non-Cayley if its full automorphism group acts transitively on its vertices and contains no subgroups acting regularly on its vertices. In this paper, a complete classification of cubic vertex-transitive non-Cayley graphs of order 12 p, where p is a prime, is given. As a result, there are 11 sporadic and one infinite family of such graphs, of which the sporadic ones occur when p equals 5, 7 or 17, and the infinite family exists if and only if p ≡ 1(mod 4), and in this family there is a unique graph for a given order.     

A NEW FAMILY OF FILTRATION s＋6 IN THE STABLE HOMOTOPY GROUPS OF SPHERES

In the year 2002, Lin detected a nontrivial family in the stable homotopy groups of spheres πt-6S which is represented by hngor3 ∈ ExtA6,t(Zp,Zp) in the Adams spectral sequence, where t=2pn(p-1) 6(p2 p 1)(p-1) and p≥7 is a prime number.This article generalizes the result and proves the existence of a new nontrivial family of filtration s 6 in the stable homotopy groups of spheres πt1-s-6S which is represented by hngors 3 6 ExtAs 6,t1(Zp, Zp) in the Adams spectral sequence, where n≥4, 0≤s相似文献   

Finite p-Groups in Which the Number of Subgroups of Possible Order is Less Than or Equal to $p^3 $

In this paper, groups of order pn in which the number of subgroups of possible order is less than or equal to p3 are classified. It turns out that if p 2, n ≥ 5, then the classification of groups of order pn in which the number of subgroups of possible order is less than or equal to p3 and the classification of groups of order pn with a cyclic subgroup of index p2 are the same.     

Lower Bounds for Moments of Quadratic Twisted Self-dual GL(3) Central L-values

In this paper, we prove the conjectured order lower bound for the k-th moment of central values of quadratic twisted self-dual GL(3) L-functions for all k ≥ 1, based on our recent work on the twisted first moment of central values in this family of L-functions.     

Complete solving of explicit evaluation of Gauss sums in the index 2 case

Let p be a prime number,N be a positive integer such that gcd(N,p) = 1,q = pf where f is the multiplicative order of p modulo N.Let χ be a primitive multiplicative character of order N over finite field Fq.This paper studies the problem of explicit evaluation of Gauss sums G(χ) in the "index 2 case"(i.e.[(Z/NZ):p] = 2).Firstly,the classification of the Gauss sums in the index 2 case is presented.Then,the explicit evaluation of Gauss sums G(χλ)(1 λ N-1) in the index 2 case with order N being general even integer(i.e.N = 2r·N0,where r,N0 are positive integers and N0 3 is odd) is obtained.Thus,combining with the researches before,the problem of explicit evaluation of Gauss sums in the index 2 case is completely solved.     

Detection of Some Elements in the Stable Homotopy Groups of Spheres

Let A be the mod p Steenrod algebra and S be the sphere spectrum localized at an odd prime p. To determine the stable homotopy groups of spheres π＊S is one of the central problems in homotopy theory. This paper constructs a new nontrivial family of homotopy elements in the stable homotopy groups of spheres πp^nq＋2pq＋q-3S which isof order p and is represented by kohn ∈ ExtA^3,P^nq＋2pq＋q（Zp,Zp） in the Adams spectral sequence, wherep 〉 5 is an odd prime, n ≥3 and q = 2（p-1）. In the course of the proof, a new family of homotopy elements in πp^nq＋（p＋1）q-1V（1） which is represented by β＊i＇＊i＊（hn） ∈ ExtA^2,pnq＋（p＋1）q＋1 （H^＊V（1）, Zp） in the Adams sequence is detected.     

THE EXISTENCE OF OVERLARGE SETS OF IDEMPOTENT QUASIGROUPS

A idempotent quasigroup (Q, o) of order n is equivalent to an n(n-1)×3 partial orthogonal array in which all of rows consist of 3 distinct elements. Let X be a (n+1)-set. Denote by T(n+1) the set of (n+1)n(n-1) ordered triples of X with the property that the 3 coordinates of each ordered triple are distinct. An overlarge set of idempotent quasigroups of order n is a partition of T(n+1) into n+1 n(n-1)×3 partial orthogonal arrays A_x, x∈X based on X\{x}. This article gives an almost complete solution of overlarge sets of idempotent quasigroups.     

Two New Families in the Stable Homotopy Groups of Sphere and Moore Spectrum

This paper proves the existence of an order p element in the stable homotopy group of sphere spectrum of degree pnq pmq q - 4 and a nontrivial element in the stable homotopy group of Moore spectum of degree pnq pmq q - 3 which are represented by h0(hmbn-1-hnbm-1) and i*(h0hnhm) in the E2-terms of the Adams spectral sequence respectively, where p≥7 is a prime, n≥m 2≥4, q = 2(p - 1).     

Non-triviality of Tate cohomology for certain classes of finite p-groups

We prove that the Tate cohomology groups ?ⁿ(G∕Φ(G),Z(Φ(G))) are non-trivial, whenever G is a finite p-group of class 3, or the pth term of the upper central series of G contains Z(Φ(G)). This confirms a conjecture of Schmid for these groups.

本文主要研究以下形式的Hausdorff算子H_Φf(x)=∫_RⁿΦ(u₁….,u_n)f(u₁x₁,…,u_nx_n)du₁…du_n,其中Φ是Rⁿ上的缓增分布.当n≥2,0Φ在H^p(Rⁿ)上有界当且仅当Φ≡0.进一步,当n≥2,n/n+1Φ有合适定义,那么H_Φ在H^p(Rⁿ)上有界当且仅当Φ是常数.这些结果都表明Hausdorff算子H_Φ在H^p(Rⁿ)上的有界性很复杂.此外,我们将H_Φ转化成卷积型算子,得到H_Φ在Lebesgue空间上有界的一些新的结果.     

Regularity Results for Nonlinear Systems of Partial Differential Equations Under Weak Ellipticity Conditions

We prove C^{1,α} almost everywhere regularity for weak solutions in the space W^{1,k} (Ω, R^N) of the systems - D_αA^i_α(x,u,Du) = B^i(z,u,Du) under the weak ellipticity condition ∫A(x_0 ,u, p + DΦ) ⋅ DΦdy ≥ λ ∫ (|DΦ|² + |DΦ|^k)dy.     

Multiple Positive Solutions for One Dimensional Third Order p-Laplacian Equations with Integral Boundary Conditions

In this paper,we consider the one dimensional third order p-Laplacian equation■u^′′(0)=0.By using kernel functions and the Avery-Peterson fixed point theorem,we establish the existence of at least three positive solutions.
