In this paper, we study the 2m-order nonlinear Ginzburg-Landau system inn spatial dimensions. We show the existence and uniqueness of the global generalized solution, and the existence of the global attractor for this system, and establish the estimates of the upper bounds of Hausdorff and fractal dimensions for the global attractor. In this work, the existence and properties of a global attractor for the solution semiflow of the Oregonator system are proved. The Oregonator system is the mathematical model of the celebrated Belousov–Zhabotinskii reaction. A rescaling and grouping estimation method is developed to show the absorbing property and the asymptotic compactness of the solution trajectories of this three‐component reaction–diffusion system with quadratic nonlinearity. It is also proved that the fractal dimension of the global attractor is finite and an exponential attractor exists for the Oregonator semiflow. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Klein-Gordon-Schroedinger (KGS) equations are very important in physics. Some papers studied their well-posedness and numerical solution [1-4], and another works investigated the existence of global attractor in R^n and Ω包含于R^n (n≤3) [5-6,11-12]. In this paper, we discuss the dynamical behavior when we apply spectral method to find numerical approximation for periodic initial value problem of KGS equations. It includes the existence of approximate attractor AN, the upper semi-continuity on A which is a global attractor of initial problem and the upper bounds of Hausdorff and fractal dimensions for A and AN,etc.  相似文献

The purpose of this work is to investigate the asymptotic behaviours of solutions for the discrete Klein–Gordon–Schrödinger type equations in one-dimensional lattice. We first establish the global existence and uniqueness of solutions for the corresponding Cauchy problem. According to the solution's estimate, it is shown that the semi-group generated by the solution is continuous and possesses an absorbing set. Using truncation technique, we show that there exists a global attractor for the semi-group. Finally, we extend the criteria of Zhou et al. [S. Zhou, C. Zhao, and Y. Wang, Finite dimensionality and upper semicontinuity of compact kernel sections of non-autonomous lattice systems, Discrete Contin. Dyn. Syst. A 21 (2008), pp. 1259–1277.] for finite fractal dimension of a family of compact subsets in a Hilbert space to obtain an upper bound of fractal dimension for the global attractor.  相似文献

Long‐time behavior of solutions of a damped, forced generalized Benjamin‐Bona‐Mahony equation with periodic boundary condition is studied. Assume that the force fL2 and the damping coefficient is a small perturbation of a positive constant, the existence of global attractor below H1 is proved. Moreover, we show the global attractor has finite fractal dimension in the sharp regularity space H2. Finally, we give a covering of the global attractor, which suggests that the attractor is even thinner than a general set with finite fractal dimension in H2. In this paper, we consider a periodic boundary value problem for a non-classical reaction-diffusion equation with memory. In other paper, we use the ω-limit compactness of the solution semigroup {S(t)}t≥0 to get the existence of a global attractor. The main goal here is to give an estimate of the fractal dimension of the global attractor. By the fractal dimension theorem given by A.O. Celebi et al., we obtain that the fractal dimension of the global attractor for the problem is finite; this makes the results for the non-classical reaction-diffusion equations more substantial and perfect.  相似文献

We investigate the long-time dynamical behavior of coupled suspension bridge equations with double nonlocal terms by using the quasi-stable methods. We first establish the well-posedness of the solutions by means of the monotone operator theory. Secondly, the dissipation of solution semigroup is obtained, and then, the asymptotic smoothness of solution semigroup is verified by the energy reconstruction method; ultimately, we prove the existence of global attractor.
