On the theory of Banach space valued multifunctions. 2. Set valued martingales and set valued measures

This second part of the work on Banach space valued multifunctions begins with a detailed study of set valued martingales, which have their values in a Banach space. Several new convergence theorems are established for different modes of convergence. The profile of a multifunction in connection with set valued martingales is also studied. The notion of weak convergence of multifunctions is introduced and used to obtain additional convergence theorems for set valued martingales. In the last two sections of the paper set valued measures dealt with and an integral with respect to a set valued measure is introduced.     

Convergence theorems for adapted sequences of random sets

We consider random sets with values in a separable Banach space. We study set-valued amarts, L¹-amarts, uniform amarts and submartingales. For all these classes of random sets, we prove convergence theorems in all main modes of set convergence (weak, Wijsman, Mosco, and Hausdorff). We also prove new convergence theorems for vector-valued subpramarts and pramarts.

A convergence for vector valued functions

We give a definition of gamma-convergence (epi-convergence) for the case of vector valued sequences of functions and prove some related properties analogous to the scalar case. We obtain one of the main variational theorems about convergence of ?-minimizers. In the convex case, we consider also variable domains and obtain stability of efficient points and minimal values.

Weak and Strong Convergence of Solutions to Accretive Operator Inclusions and Applications

Our purpose in this paper is to approximate solutions of accretive operators in Banach spaces. Motivated by Halpern's iteration and Mann's iteration, we prove weak and strong convergence theorems for resolvents of accretive operators. Using these results, we consider the convex minimization problem of finding a minimizer of a proper lower semicontinuous convex function and the variational problem of finding a solution of a variational inequality.     

Integral representation of random set-valued measures

Abstract

We consider random set-valued measures with values in a separable Banach space. We prove two integral representation theorems using measurable multifunctions and set-valued integrals. The first theorem is valid for all separable Banach spaces, while the second holds for reflexive separable Banach spaces.     

On the dependence of the solutions and optimal solutions of control problems on the control constraint set

In this paper we examine the dependence of the solutions and optimal solutions of a class of linear, infinite dimensional control systems on the control constraint set. This is done using the weak and the Kuratowski-Mosco convergence of sets. First we establish some general facts about weakly convergent multifunctions. Then we prove some convergence theorems for the trajectories of certain control systems. We also derive a general relaxation theorem. Subsequently we pass to optimal control problems and prove various convergence results. We conclude with an example from parabolic control systems.Research supported by N. S. F. Two theorems on defect-freeness for cyclic extensions

The article contains the proofs of two theorems. Under quite special assumptions, we prove that the p-cyclic extensions of Henselian valued fields are defect-free. However, the well-known results by Epp and Kuhlmann are easy consequences of these theorems.     

The estimation of a nonlinear moving average model

We consider discrete-parameter stochastic processes that are the output of a nonlinear filter driven by white noise. For a simple model, we derive estimates of the unknown coefficients in the transfer function and the noise variance, and investigate their asymptotic properties. We prove some lemmas that can also be used to obtain rates of convergence in the weak and strong laws of large numbers, and central limit theorems, for estimates of more general nonlinear models.     

Henstock–Kurzweil–Pettis integrability of compact valued multifunctions with values in an arbitrary Banach space

The aim of this paper is to describe Henstock–Kurzweil–Pettis (HKP) integrable compact valued multifunctions. Such characterizations are known in case of functions (see Di Piazza and Musia? (2006)  [16]). It is also known (see Di Piazza and Musia? (2010)  [19]) that each HKP-integrable compact valued multifunction can be represented as a sum of a Pettis integrable multifunction and of an HKP-integrable function. Invoking to that decomposition, we present a pure topological characterization of integrability. Having applied the above results, we obtain two convergence theorems, that generalize results known for HKP-integrable functions. We emphasize also the special role played in the theory by weakly sequentially complete Banach spaces and by spaces possessing the Schur property.     

Convergence for vector optimization problems with variable ordering structure

In this paper, we first discuss the Painlevé–Kuratowski set convergence of (weak) minimal point set for a convex set, when the set and the ordering cone are both perturbed. Next, we consider a convex vector optimization problem, and take into account perturbations with respect to the feasible set, the objective function and the ordering cone. For this problem, by assuming that the data of the approximate problems converge to the data of the original problem in the sense of Painlevé–Kuratowski convergence and continuous convergence, we establish the Painlevé–Kuratowski set convergence of (weak) minimal point and (weak) efficient point sets of the approximate problems to the corresponding ones of original problem. We also compare our main theorems with existing results related to the same topic.     

On conditional weak convergence

In this paper we discuss a number of technical issues associated with conditional weak convergence. The main modes of convergence of conditional probability distributions areuniform, probability, andalmost sure convergence in the conditioning variable. General results regarding conditional convergence are obtained, including details of sufficient conditions for each mode of convergence, and characterization theorems for uniform conditional convergence.

Weak and Strong Convergence Theorems for New Demimetric Mappings and the Split Common Fixed Point Problem in Banach Spaces

In this paper, we consider the split common fixed point problem for new demimetric mappings in Banach spaces. Using the idea of Mann’s iteration, we prove a weak convergence theorem for finding a solution of the split common fixed point problem in Banach spaces. Furthermore, using the idea of Halpern’s iteration, we obtain a strong convergence theorem for finding a solution of the problem in Banach spaces. Using these results, we obtain well-known and new weak and strong convergence theorems in Hilbert spaces and Banach spaces.     

基于Samelson逆的向量值连分式的收敛准则

The aim of this work is to give some criteria on the convergence of vector valued continued fractions defined by Samelson inverse. We give a new approach to prove the convergence theory of continued fractions. First, by means of the modified classical backward recurrence relation, we obtain a formula between the m-th and n-th convergence of vector valued continued fractions. Second, using this formula, we give necessary and sufficient conditions for the convergence of vector valued continued fractions.

Extragradient Methods for Vector Equilibrium Problems in Banach Spaces

We consider the vector equilibrium problem, which extends the scalar equilibrium problem to vector valued bifunctions, in a Banach space setting. We propose an extragradient method for solving this problem. Under suitable assumptions on the bifunction, we prove that the generated sequence is weakly convergent to a solution of the problem. Then, we propose a regularization procedure which ensures strong convergence of the generated sequence to a solution of the problem.
