On general Bernstein and Nikol’ski type inequalities

The goal of this paper is to establish the relations between general Bernstein and Nikol’ski type inequalities under some weak conditions. From these relations some known classical inequalities are implied. Also, a family of functions equipped with Bernstein type inequality which satisfies Nikol’ski type inequality is found.     

Strong solution of Itô type set-valued stochastic differential equation

In this paper, we shall firstly illustrate why we should introduce an It5 type set-valued stochastic differential equation and why we should notice the almost everywhere problem. Secondly we shall give a clear definition of Aumann type Lebesgue integral and prove the measurability of the Lebesgue integral of set-valued stochastic processes with respect to time t. Then we shall present some new properties, especially prove an important inequality of set-valued Lebesgue integrals. Finally we shall prove the existence and the uniqueness of a strong solution to the It5 type set-valued stochastic differential equation.     

Strong unique continuation property for a class of fourth order elliptic equations with strongly singular potentials

In this paper we prove the strong unique continuation property for a class of fourth order elliptic equations involving strongly singular potentials.Our argument is to establish some Hardy-Rellich type inequalities with boundary terms and introduce an Almgren’s type frequency function to show some doubling conditions for the solutions to the above-mentioned equations.     

MATRIX NORM VERSIONS OF THE KANTOROVICH INEQUALITY AND ITS APPLICATIONS

In this paper we discuss the generalizations of the Kantorovich inequality and obtain some generalized Kantorovich inequalities in the sense of matrix norm. We further illustrate how to use these inequalities to determine the lower bound of relative efficiency of the parameter estimate in linear model.     

Some new results for demimartingales

Harremoёs obtained some new maximal inequalities for non-negative martingales. In this paper, we get some new maximal and minimal inequalities for non-negative demimartingales which generalize the results of Harremoёs. We also obtain an inequality for non-negative demimartingales which generalizes the result of Iksanov and Marynych. Finally we obtain a strong law of large numbers, strong growth rate and integrability of supremum for demimartingales which generalize and improve the result of Chow.     

On several new Hilbert-type inequalities involving means operators

In this paper, we establish several new Hilbert-type inequalities with a homogeneous kernel, involving arithmetic, geometric, and harmonic mean operators in both integral and discrete case. Such inequalities are derived by virtue of some recent results regarding general Hilbert-type inequalities and some well-known classical inequalities. We also prove that the constant factors appearing in established inequalities are the best possible. As an application, we consider some particular settings and compare our results with previously known from the literature.     

A REMARK ON KOLMOGOROV'S COMPARISON THEOREM

In approximation theory the theorem of Kolmogorov concerning the comparison of derivatives of differentiable functions defined on the real line is well-known. It plays an important r le in establishing sharp inequalities between the norms of derivatives of a function. In this note we establish a comparison theorem of Kolmogorov type on a class of functions which are defined on the real line and can be continuated analytically in a stripped region containing the real llne. As a consequence we have derived an inequality of Landau-Kolmogorov type on this function class, and moreover, we have applied it to get the exact estimation for the Kolmogorov's N-widths of the analytic function class.     

Newman不等式和Klamkin不等式的指数推广

Exponential generalizations of Newman's inequality and Klamkin's inequality are established by the Wang Wan-lan's inequality, and they are extended to the cases involving general elementary symmetric functions. As an application, some new inequalities for a simplex are established. In addition, an open problem is posed.     

Functional inequalities in non-Archimedean normed spaces

In this paper, we introduce an additive functional inequality and a quadratic functional inequality in normed spaces, and prove the Hyers–Ulam stability of the functional inequalities in Banach spaces. Furthermore, we introduce an additive functional inequality and a quadratic functional inequality in non-Archimedean normed spaces, and prove the Hyers–Ulam stability of the functional inequalities in non-Archimedean Banach spaces.     

Poincar and Weak Poincar Inequalities for the Mixed Poisson Measure

By using the Mecke identity, we study a class of birth-death type Dirichlet forms associated with the mixed Poisson measure. Both Poincar and weak Poincar inequalities are established, while another Poincar type inequality is disproved under some reasonable assumptions.

Remarks on a main inequality for several special functions

It is shown that the main inequality for several special functions derived in [Masjed-Jamei M. A main inequality for several special functions. Comput Math Appl. 2010;60:1280–1289] can be put in a concise form, and that the main inequalities of the first kind Bessel function, Laplace and Fourier transforms are not valid as presented in the aforementioned paper. To provide alternative inequalities, we give a generalization, being in some cases an improvement, of the Cauchy–Bunyakovsky–Schwarz inequality which can be applied to real functions not necessarily of constant sign. The corresponding discrete inequality is also obtained, which we use to improve the inequalities of the Riemann zeta and the generalized Hurwitz–Lerch zeta functions. Finally, from the main concise inequality, we derive a Turán-type inequality.

Some inequalities in inner product spaces related to the generalized triangle inequality

In this paper we obtain some inequalities related to the generalized triangle and quadratic triangle inequalities for vectors in inner product spaces. Some results that employ the Ostrowski discrete inequality for vectors in normed linear spaces are also obtained.

On the Bohr inequality of operators

This paper is focused on the operator inequalities of the Bohr type. We will give a new and transparent proof for the operator Bohr inequality through an absolute value operator identity, show some related operator inequalities by means of 2×2 (block) operator matrices, and finally we will present a generalization of the operator Bohr inequality for multiple operators.
